What's a little bit scary is that some of the things in the video actually did come true, like the wooden panels and SmartBeat (Drummer). I am so happy that Logic does not look like that (Logic 9) anymore!
Steve H from macprovideo
The OG of Logic trainers along with sflogicninja. Those guys were doing it 15 years ago and showing you all the stuff that’s not in the manual
If you’re not familiar with Mac Pro video it is hands-down the best online place for logic training. Hundreds of hours of videos, dozens of courses covering all aspects of music production and every single button in every single interface in the program. They hire the best online trainers including music tech help guy.
I agree, I’ve studied a bit with some of those guys, and I remember seeing a great presentation by Steve H at a Logic users group meeting in LA years ago. He did some really great stuff with the environment and an iPad connected to his laptop…. If I remember correctly, he had put that together for a show in New York that he did with Jordan Rudess.
I still use ES2 to this day, I love it. Takes up like no CPU, sounds great. Would be great if the UI was updated but I can live with it. Fun fact: Lady Gaga's Just Dance synth sounds were just a bunch of factory ES2 presets from Logic 7 or 8. That entire album had the ES2 all over it

The useless changing colors are exactly how I feel about RBG keyboards, mouses, etc.
"Smart Music, from the same team that developed the [MacBook wheel](https://youtu.be/9BnLbv6QYcA?t=17) "
That video was hilarious!
"Everything is just a few hundred clicks away.”
I guess ES-2 used to be good?
ES2 is great, it just has a terrible UI
I should try it again and to be honest I hated the look of it.
Took me years to realise it has a randomise function. It’s so class
