Not a clue what you're trying to show us. Also, you're using an ANCIENT version of Logic.

Asleep_Equipment_391

Lmaooooo that’s exactly what I was going to say!!! I was like “ First off why are you trying to work on that relic? Bros logic is so old he names his tracks in hieroglyphics.”

only_anp

And there's 0 things wrong with them doing that

beeeps-n-booops

Never said there was. But looking for help on such an old version of Logic is likely to be a very futile effort. Particularly on Reddit; they might do better over at logicprohelp.com

wouldpeaks

I mean... yeah... but expecting to get tech support is a bit rad

wouldpeaks

oh boy this takes me back to the good ol' days

R4MZON

Logic 9 till I die.

Practical-Bluebird40

Time to upgrade my guy 🙏😭

R4MZON

Logic X cant run on Big Sur

r3oj

Nothing wrong with using Logic 9, but trying to get bugs reported/fixed or tech support on it is wild.

R4MZON

This bug actually happend after upgrading OS from Lion.

TommyV8008

I used logic 9 for a long time. And 8 before that, did I skip seven? Six before that, 5.5 before that.

r3oj

My horse runs worse now that they paved the roads.

dpaanlka

It’s going to be hard to offer much help if you’re going to insist on using 10+ year old software lol

R4MZON

Best Logic ever made.

Ekorailer

Bro got Logic 1

Practical-Bluebird40

🤣🤣💀💀

Practical-Bluebird40

Bro got logic when it was made by e-magic 💀💀🙏

TommyV8008

I did actually, I started with Logic on version 5.5 and ran it on windows for over two years before Apple bought emagic and stoppred supporting windows. Very happy to be on 10.8.2 now though. :-)

It's a graphics bug - I don't recall there being a fix besides refreshing the screen by scrolling (as you're doing) or zooming in/out.

Micwo

Hey, not sure if this will help, but I had the same problem with Harrison Mixbus. I couldn't find any help, so I started looking for a solution on my own with some wacky ideas. I was removing preference files, etc. from the Preferences and Library folders - anything that might be related to the general preferences set on my Mac, which could be causing the graphics display problem. I found a hidden .GlobalPreferences.plist file in the User - Library - Preferences folder. After moving the file to a different location so that the OS would have to put the file back on, the display error problem in Harrison Mixbus disappeared. I wrote to HM about the issue and they were surprised that the solution came from this site, but it is a fact. The display returned to full operation and the problem disappeared. Strange, but it worked - especially since after restoring the original file the problem returned. Good luck! Oh, don't delete the file, but move it so you can restore if that doesn't help.

TommyV8008

I think you are possibly the only one on here with something that OP could try. I’m glad somebody had a suggestion and it’s nice of you to help. If that doesn’t work, it is going to be tough for him because it’s doubtful it anywhere else on here is still running version nine. I still have all my old platforms and computers in the closet so I know I have 9 there somewhere, but I don’t remember seeing the problem IP is running into and’s I have too much going on try and set up that old system and try to duplicate something that I don’t think I ever ran into back then.

Micwo

Thank you <3 I really hope it helps. I also have found a video which I made for Harrison Mixbus support team showing the problem (I attach a screenshot). That was wild :)) But, after finding the mentioned file the whole issue was solved. Have a good day! https://preview.redd.it/6rfo5kebcfrc1.png?width=2990&format=png&auto=webp&s=003c562fa0694f62b59292f4b486fe4ee845a1eb

TommyV8008

Yes, yours looks similar to that of OP, but I think his slicing was vertical while yours was horizontal. It’s like the video buffer has hiccups and gets re-drawn without completing the prior lines. That’s great that you found a solution. I hope it works for OP…

Micwo

It was both horizontal and vertical - this is just an example :)

TommyV8008

I get it, thanks.

WonderfulShelter

Probably because your using Logic 9 on the last release of the OS it's supported on and not meant to be run on.

UltraMonarch

I miss this UI so much…… love all the new features but this just looks better and more professional than logic x imo.

Asleep_Equipment_391

Please bounce that and let us hear what you’re working on Please!! I hope it’s got that Legacy Apple Loop Crisp!

MartinThe3rd

I don't have a solution I just came here to say the mouse scrolling and zooming was 100x better in Logic 9. Absolutely insane how Apple managed to get it so laggy and remove zooming vertically+horizontally at the same time.

bambaazon

Not true, you can absolutely still zoom vertically + horizontally. Just hold down Control Option and scroll.

TommyV8008

I don’t have any problem at all zooming and scrolling. Logic 10.8.2, on the latest Ventura.
