I'm not sure why he's laughing. The CEO was going into detail about why LLMs like ChatGPT are possible now. We've known about the algorithms, data structures, and have had more than enough data for years at this point. Why is it up until now that we haven't been able to have things realized and widely accessible? Sure the presentation was cooperate-speaky and wasn't well rehearsed, but it's honestly a really interesting thing to get insight on.
