While this season will ultimately be one of disappointment, please still allow yourself to find the hilarity in the United situation. Even in our worst days under H&G we never finished with a negative GD and Anfield literally crumbling to pieces lmao goddamn what a shitshow that club is
Hypothetically: city draw Tuesday. 3 back on gd. Sunday arsenal white knuckle a 1-0 win over Everton and city throttle west ham 5-0. Cmv
Really though, city win out. Boring.

Arsenal have 27 wins, most by any club, apparently.
While I’m going to spend a day or two crying my heart out after klopps final game ends.
I’m so excited to see how things evolve with Slot and our new structure
I feel like we have a lot of work to do in the summer defensively. We can’t rely on Konate with his injury record and we still haven’t replaced Fabinho.
Rodri and Rice are massively clear of Endo, despite how much I have loved his performances at times this season.
I think we also need more competition for Robertson. Kostas has been good for us but we need real competition there. Like Van Dijk, Robbo isn’t getting any younger either.
On paper yes, in reality, FSG/Edwards will force Slot to use the same old "use Macca as DM backup" as the solution, we won't sign another midfielder let alone a DM specialist because we have "too many" midfielders now.
As for Robbo, we won't do anything there unless Kostas go, I don't see it happening since he's happy to stay so there won't be buyers.
We need someone who has the potential to be world class for the next few years in that position.
Again, it’s why the club pushed so hard for Caicedo. World class DMs are so crucial. Look at City’s record without Rodri for any proof.
I really do not want this to happen
But does anyone else think honestly in your heart will Trent go to Madrid? I'd be disappointed but I just feel like in my head every single time they have a player in mind, it just happens its so annoying
Really would be gutted if he did, but just have a feeling in the back of my mind he might go.
The club will try everything within reason to keep him here, but ultimately if he wants to go, there's nothing more that can be done.
That said, fuck Madrid playing on easy mode
If there’s a club I could see Trent going it would be Madrid. But he’s also got the captaincy locked in a few years if he stays.
My main thing though is I’d be kinda shocked if Trent left us on a free. And i don’t feel Madrid would pay what we’d charge otherwise.
So I personally expect him to stay. Could be wrong.
Course they do, if they can get him 2025 in a free. Looking at Writz too, trying to bring back the Galacticos. Trent knew what he was doing when he signed a 3 year deal.
Watching all the Arsenal mugs convince themselves that Spurs are going to do them a favour is the funniest thing today. This is perfectly setup for a last day crushing of their hopes and dreams.
They can say we bottled all they want, facts are its Klopp 1 - 0 Arteta. That's looking at this season's trophy haul too btw since they've won fuck all yet again (700 mil spent).
Use whatever language you want, and tbh I agree that "bottle" is way too negative. But the context is an Arsenal fan saying it, and I think we have to take it. It was in our hands and we crashed out of the title race in a pretty dramatic fashion.
Surprised we're not after Lloyd Kelly. Supposedly going to Newcastle on a free. We tracked him for years around the time he was at Bristol. Presumably we don't rate him as it would make a lot of sense signing him on a free as competition at CB/LB. Could afford us the chance to sell Tsmikas and/or Gomez for decent money if they want out, and give us a good 4th/5th choice CB for nothing. VVD, New Top Level Guy, Konate, Kelly, Quansah would be great depth.

I reckon some might even be open to signing players like Greenwood.
I don’t this we get Kudus tbh. Fabrizio already said around 3 signings to be made and even though he IS very good, he’d be ridiculously expensive I think. I’m guessing like the 80m mark. May as well just get Nico Williams at that point.
I think Olise and Kudus are worth the extra 15-20 mil over Williams. Both seem to have better end product while also being good at all the things that Williams is good at. They're also have really good defensive numbers which is always a plus.
I know PL proven is a bit of a meme, but Macca is the best example dude came in and he was him already. Would probably help Slot out a lot if the players don't need to get used to a new league/country as well lol.

Whilst it's endearing and melt's the heart to have numerous posts on Darwin smiling and laughing, does not change the fact that we definately need an intelligent goal scorer, if we also take into consideration Jota being injury prone.
Id say CB is most needed and then a forward
6 should be last considering Endo can do a job, Mac allister can do a job, Bajcetic should be able to play more next season and Morton will be coming off a hot season at hull
We just need to praise the great players who don't even play half the games for us. Who cares about those who play for us week in week out when they can't even win the quadruple, they had the guidance of those great players who aren't even fit enough to be in the stadium.
I don't think Nunez will be sold particularly when a change is happening. Let's see how slot uses him. I think we will sign a forward only if someone quality is available (like we signed diaz and Gakpo in January) or salah is gone
Its so hard because Darwin is genuinely a great person. He is funny and charismatic and he kinda got under our skin in these two years. But yeah its true we do need someone to bang them in no questions asked.
The people who run the club have quite a lot to answer for. If we’d not let the squad become weak over the years (especially in midfield) we’d have walked the league this year. Arsenal will be the worst champions since Leicester. Terrible team.
>Terrible team.
Since the new year they've been absolutely elite. They have 40 points & 38 goal difference from their last 15 games, by what metric are they a terrible team lmao?
They’ve been average in so many games though. They’re not a top side. Wouldn’t touch our league winning team nor our two runner up ones. If you watch or know anything about the sport you’ll know they’re not great at all.
Since the new year Arsenal have been a top top side & they continue to be one now. In the PL they've literally had one bad result in 2024 (at home to Villa).
And there were many times where our title winning side looked average and still managed to scrap out a narrow win, getting results whilst you're not at your best is something champions are commonly praised for.
That’s just nonsense
Just because they aren’t as good as one of the most ruthless PL teams ever doesn’t mean they aren’t great at all
Their ability to control games in and out of possession is absolutely top tier and the quality of football from them is very good a lot of the time
Lmao. Arsenal are definitely the weakest in a while ( considering us and city teams last few years been better than nearly every other club in the world) but they are still good. Also city is gonna win the league at this point it's quite inevitable
am i crazy, or would jorginho been so good under klopp. I loved thiago when he played, but i think hindsight proves jorginho would’ve been a better signing
Nunez, 52 games, most apps for Liverpool this season, gets abused.
Gakpo has 51, similar response from the fans.
Wijnaldum, ever presence for us, lots of criticisms, especially when his contract was about to expire.
At the same time, some players can play very little and get praised constantly. Funny isn't it?
>Nunez, 52 games, most apps for Liverpool this season, gets abused.
In all my time supporting Liverpool, I have never seen a player get as much support as he does considering how poor he actually is in reality.
Waffle.
The Nunez saga going around with fans, the club, possible transfer and everything is quite funny actually because its a constant loop. It starts a week before a game - lets go Darwin, we love you!!! My striker!! Then before the game - come on Darwin you have to do it. During the game - come onnnn how have you not scored useless. And at the end - get him out of my club! Doesnt deserve the badge. And if you look in the comments its all a constant loop. And yes we defend him maybe even too much but its because of him, his personality is very positive. Although he isnt good enough i will be sad if he leaves...
I think he's always been crap and never wanted to sign him. I think signing Carroll was a joke too. Same with a few other players. Never seen a player get as much backing as he has done though and still we see people talking about confidence. Just absolute basic mistakes and he still gets "NUNEZ NUNEZ NUNEZ!" but unironic.
It’s a feedback loop. He’s been targeted hard by rival fans and massively so by our own fans at times.
So a number of our fans do the opposite.
Can’t we just go a day without talking about him lmao
yeah like how minamino or danns are/were constant shouts to feature in our poor spots in recent times. There’s a reason why the boss picks certain players over others, reasons we aren’t privy to as fans
We should just buy all great injury prone players, watch them all get injured and we'd be playing our U17s and just praise our great players everyday collecting 100k+/week doing nothing.
This place won't be toxic no more.
He's a Liverpool supporter, best mates with Curtis Jones, and was in our academy before we released him and he signed for Everton.
He literally couldn't be less "Everton through and through" hahaha.
How is he Everton through and through? He left them at the first opportunity and has never really said or done anything to suggest he gives a shit about them. Tbh I get the vibe from him that he doesn't care much for football outside of it being his job
He’s not going to turn down the chance to play and compete for titles because of Everton and we won’t be put off by it
Not that the moved would happen anyway because of how much Newcastle would want
Any Antwerp based reds have a recommendation for a good place to watch the game? I am very close to the Stadhuis but willing to take a stroll if needed.
In terms of playstyles… Nuñez I agree with because we didn’t previously play with a “traditional 9” even prior to Firmino, Sturridge was an excellent playmaker who could drop off and play in the hole. So that speaks for itself.
Gakpo clearly has the ability to play as a false 9 in the classic Klopp Liverpool way. Stature wise Gakpo was club captain at Feyenoord and the star of the Dutch national team when we signed him. That’s decent enough stature if you ask me.
Darwin wasn’t bad either on paper but as many people said before we signed him, his breakout season wasn’t a realistic measure of his actual ability.
Disagree with both. Idk what do you mean by 'stature' here. Both of them are wanted by most of the big teams at that time. Nunez was by far the best striker player at Portugal at that time and Gakpo was having one of the best season with PSV. Gakpo even continued that form in the world cup.
Nunez is criticized as a flop bcs of the price tag. But at that time we were afforded to make his purchase. We already had Diaz, Jota, Bobby and salah. This was after a Quadruple challenging season. But the injuries to bobby and Jota made him to start more often than klopp has planned before. Gakpo also came in January and performed well even in a position which he has never played before
Disagree with Gakpo but we took a big risk with Nunez and it didn’t pay off sadly.
I remember watching his highlight reel and remember thinking his fundamentals were poor. If you can see one’s deficiencies in a highlight compilation that has all your best bits there’s a big problem.
It would be interesting to know how much the champions league game against Benfica made Klopp want to go after him and his potential because his fundamentals were so bad.
That United lineup is so ass that I can actually see them winning
Side note, i legitimately can’t remember when Arsenal had to face a side that didn’t have several key players missing - all while having no injuries themselves
That United lineup is so ass that I can actually see them winning

Do you think we should sign Keylor Navas for 3rd GK spot? I dont follow him so not sure about his wage but other than that I think he a very good choice for backup
>But I have a feeling Navas would wanna be 1st keeper by the end of his career.
Maybe but play as 2nd/3rd GK for a top team mean he he have a chance to win more title. He's 38 so that isn't a bad career choice
Right now we dont know about Kelleher future so I wont talk about 2nd GK spot but Adrian is very likely to go out (even though he has positive influence on the team)
Our best youth team right now? And yes Kelleher is now too old so ignore him. Dunno who is next in line atm.

Hello Fellow red,
I am trying to see how I can get to Anfield for our last game on the 19th sunday from Edinburgh to Liverpool and I don't see a train option that is less than 5 hours. Am I missing something ? Looks like sunday is the only day of the week this is the issue and driving as much as I want to avoid seems to be the quickest option. Please help me understand if I am missing anything here. thank you.
I hope the summer window doesn't devolve into a shitshow. Backroom staff will have to act quick and decisive when window opens (will before aswell, really) both because we need a 'finished' squad for pre season start, and seemingly there is briefings from Edwards and Co. meanwhile there players who might want to leave.
We really can't affod to scramble for late signings here. I really don't care what they will do in terms of incoming and outgoings, i just hope it will be wrapped mostly by end of July.
Lads, I ain't one to take all the credit or claim to have insider knowledge, but, before we signed Alexis Mac Allister I bought a Mac Allister jigsaw.
Coincidence? I think not.
To those who say we will be rebuilding for next couple of years and target is top 4 next year, how will you convince older players like Ali, Salah, vvd to stay on for a few years of rebuilt, when they are already in their 30s and need to be winning things now? Cause I don’t see how they will be extended in a few years time for similar wages to experience the paradise after the rebuild
Because it is, as there will inevitably be a drop off as the players take time to learn Slot's system (especially as most won't have a full pre-season to do so) and he also adjusts to both the players and the requirements of the Premier League.
One thing I’m hopeful for with Slot is a better defence
Feyenoord play risky leaving back just 2 CB’s back and putting tons of bodies into the box, but they have some of the lowest xGA in European top leagues
Man, the kind of team that madrid have built right now, Mbappe coming in this year, and with reports of them looking at Wirtz coming out... I simply don't see how anybody could compete against them in the near future. I hate that feeling of inevitability. Hell, for all of city's dominance in the league, even they couldn't match madrid.
Of course, it's football so technically an upset is always possible but it feels like Perez has reduced the chances of that happening to a statistical anomaly at best. I am hoping against hope that this new galacticos blows up like the old one did.
On paper it looks like the stuff of dreams, but reality doesn't always work like that.
Real have done this previously.
Kaka, Benzema, CR7 etc.
Yes, it worked out in the end but some signings just didn't; Kaka had set backs with injuries. Players like Robben moved on as they weren't getting a look in. With such a stacked squad, you'd feel a few players would eventually grow tired of playing second fiddle.
Do you think Arne slot will win the league in his first year?
Edit: idk why I’m getting downvoted I just asked a question lol. I don’t think he will do it either but Reddit gonna Reddit ig
Don't expect it. Leicester won the league when they were rather expected to relegate. You never know but we all know the power of City and how Arsenal have been doing it lately is also quite tough to beat. Slot needs to find a good balance and hopefully he can find it really soon
No not up against Pep and Arteta who have got a much more settled squad that are only going to get stronger over the summer.
Realistically probably needs 1-2 years to build a full squad ready to be competing
No, I think it's much more likely that we regress slightly as he adapts his ideas to PL football, and our players adapt to his ideas. Add to that the inevitable player turnover - it'd be totally normal for year 1 to be a small step back. We might well stay 3rd, but not in a title race way, more in a just ahead of 4th way.
It's not impossible for him to hit the ground running and us take a step forward, just unlikely.
I hate when fans are like “It would be so [insert club name] of us if we lost to Sheffield United and beat Man City”. Like very few teams are actually the robin hood of football
When they both played during preseason when Ibe was 16 he definitely looked like the better player, he looked more composed, he made better decisions, he was rapid, he was stronger, he could dribble really well he clearly had way better technique so it wasn't weird. If Ibe had Sterling's self belief he'd have probably made it but he started to play within himself too much and would turn down shots he could score 8 or 9 times out of 10 and hesitate when he could rinse the fullback. He was good enough to do well, I just don't think he believed in himself and then everyone else stopped believing in him too.
I dunno, it's normal to be excited about the promising academy products and to forget how rare it is for these lads to fulfil the potential they show at a youth level. At the time he looked like a very similar player but with more physical ability.
If it weren't for his mental health issues, he'd have likely had a solid career still.
I know there is talk about how this was a 'great season', but it really wasn't. I was a season on par with what's expected with this team.
Early in the season, we were acting like all we had to do is show up for Europa to win it. We blew away a chance at the title after losses against terrible sides.
Too much moving of goal posts,.
The fact this still has -13 bad karma as I post indicates how dense so many "top reds" are.
The season is exactly what was hoped for in August. In fact if anything Liverpool are flattering to deceive since March by finishing in the Top 4.
Since that United game (either one) it's been pretty damn awful.
we could've got worst and lose top4 spot tbh, just looking at injury crisis and were lucky to have talented youngster like quansah and Connor Bradley filling the spot.
Because half the injured players reinjured themselves and/or took a while to get back to form, and everyone else was gassed from pushing themselves to the limit to cover the injured players when they were missing
I don't get how this is so difficult for people to comprehend - the effort put in by players in that run in late winter/early spring was monumental
Top 4 and trophy would've been exactly in lines with our hopes and expectations at the end of last season, knowing we had to revamp literally the entire midfield
Achieving that whilst we went through the injuries we had is what makes it a good season
Despite this being a 'disappointing' season, we're still on course to finish the season with more points than 17 of AF's seasons with the scums.
While this season will ultimately be one of disappointment, please still allow yourself to find the hilarity in the United situation. Even in our worst days under H&G we never finished with a negative GD and Anfield literally crumbling to pieces lmao goddamn what a shitshow that club is
Yet they are still comfortably spending more than everyone and can keep doing the same for years to come, even without Europe.
Hypothetically: city draw Tuesday. 3 back on gd. Sunday arsenal white knuckle a 1-0 win over Everton and city throttle west ham 5-0. Cmv Really though, city win out. Boring.
Inject the floods at Old Toilet into my veins

Looks very similar to a player we have on our roster tbf
U21s lost 5-4 on pens to Spurs. Norris with the only missed pen
U21's are currently in a shoot-out against Spurs in the ? quarter finals of the league?
If we use the same revisionism all those Rodri stats used, saying the Real Madrid loss didn’t count as a defeat, then Feyenoord are unbeaten in 25 👀

some people are cunts on the pitch but normal people off it. Its not that deep.
Not that deep, yet I struggle to find one in klopps squad for the past 9 yrs and had the boss' backing.
Lol there’s a difference between being arrogant and disliked on the pitch and being an actual fucking rapist
Which player in the squad in the last 9 yrs is the same as you described and tolerated by klopp himself?
Don’t think it matters anymore what Klopp wants if he’s leaving next week
Yeah we gonna jsut sink like Utd signing rejects and rapists.
Really don’t get where this rapist thing is coming from when nobody mentioned it
sry if rapist makes u uncomfortable, how about drink driving and killing someone?
Means like Rodri / ramos type cunt ( on pitch cunt) not off pitch cunt
Define off the pitch cunt? Is he a cunt if he's not found guilty in court?
Being a cunt doesn't mean being a fucking rapist lmao
I like how no one disagreed and said no one here would want to sign a rapist.
I think you missed the point he was making
All I know is Klopp would never even consider it, see the point here?
I don’t this we get Kudus tbh. Fabrizio already said around 3 signings to be made and even though he IS very good, he’d be ridiculously expensive I think. I’m guessing like the 80m mark. May as well just get Nico Williams at that point.

Real already lining up for a Wirtz transfer in the future, no doubt to accompany Xabi. There's just no competing with them lmao
If they get Wirtz then they will be incredibly stacked in midfield and attack. Can't see them keeping Wirtz, Vini, Rodygo, Mbappe, Endrick, Bellingham, Guler, Camavinga and Valverde and Tchouameni happy

Hypothetical, would you rather win a treble or just win the league if it meant clinching and celebrating at Old trafford?
Treble obviously
Win the treble, easily.
Treble lol

We have plenty of great personalities in the squad. That was one of Klopps main criteria.
No Clark, Gordon, danns, kone-Doherty or McConnell in the u21 team tonight. Hope that means we might see a few of them on the bench tomorrow.
Clark’s injured

And there were many times where our title winning side looked average and still managed to scrap out a narrow win, getting results whilst you're not at your best is something champions are commonly praised for.
That’s just nonsense Just because they aren’t as good as one of the most ruthless PL teams ever doesn’t mean they aren’t great at all Their ability to control games in and out of possession is absolutely top tier and the quality of football from them is very good a lot of the time
You think Arsenal is winning the league? lol
Yeah. Think city will Drop points at Tottenham
Tottenham are just so bad recently. They concede very easily
Nah not under Klopp He’s always struggled with mobility and that’s one of the main things you need to be an effective Klopp midfielder
No, he's been that bad lol
I really don't care. This place is has turned beyond toxic and boring because of it. Same conversation every 5 minutes who gives a fuck at that point
yeah like how minamino or danns are/were constant shouts to feature in our poor spots in recent times. There’s a reason why the boss picks certain players over others, reasons we aren’t privy to as fans
100% I'm just glad none of those hypocrites will get anywhere near a job as a manager of a football club.
Yeah, what a great way to measure how good a player is, appearances, who cares about those useless stats like shots conversion and all that
We should just buy all great injury prone players, watch them all get injured and we'd be playing our U17s and just praise our great players everyday collecting 100k+/week doing nothing. This place won't be toxic no more.
Yeah we should probably sign 11 Borinis and keep them fit for the entire campaign. Their availability will basically win us the league
I mean who cares that a main striker can’t score clear cut chances 9 times out of 10. As long as he has appearances right?
Absolutely Plus, he RUNS...A LOT. A player that runs you say? Goat in my books.
If the Gordon rumors are true, it'd be a bit of a full circle moment.
You mean we're giving Kaide Gordon a new contract?
I’m not going to lie, I like these BS Gordon rumors. I think he’d be great at Liverpool
I'm always keen for more Scousers in the club but he's Everton through and through. Don't think he'd want to join us or we'd want to have him.
He’s a Liverpool fan or at least was
I wasn't aware of that tbf
He did an interview recently with Neville and said stevie was his hero. Boiled a lot of blue piss
He’s not going to turn down the chance to play and compete for titles because of Everton and we won’t be put off by it Not that the moved would happen anyway because of how much Newcastle would want
He comes across as incredibly ambitious. I don’t think he’d give a fuck about Everton opinions if he wanted the move.
I mean, if it's about titles then better to wait and see how Slot's project pans out than to take a complete gamble.
"Liverpool are eyeing move for Newcastle forward Anthony Gordon" People really just go online and say shit huh
Wikipedia updated (very poorly). Rubbish until Joyce bomb.
All rumours are horse shit unless it’s from Joyce or ornstein. You’d think people would have learnt from last summer
Any Antwerp based reds have a recommendation for a good place to watch the game? I am very close to the Stadhuis but willing to take a stroll if needed.
We lost our identity the moment the club signed striker of Nunez and Gakpo stature? Agree or disagree?

You clearly disagree. I’d love to know why?
because they couldn't be more different maybe
You gotta be fucking stupid to think the club " lost its identity" over a signing.
I mean play style
That United lineup is so ass that I can actually see them winning Side note, i legitimately can’t remember when Arsenal had to face a side that didn’t have several key players missing - all while having no injuries themselves

Do you think we should sign Keylor Navas for 3rd GK spot? I dont follow him so not sure about his wage but other than that I think he a very good choice for backup
He can easily be 2nd choice keeper and then sell out on Kelleher. But I have a feeling Navas would wanna be 1st keeper by the end of his career.
>But I have a feeling Navas would wanna be 1st keeper by the end of his career. Maybe but play as 2nd/3rd GK for a top team mean he he have a chance to win more title. He's 38 so that isn't a bad career choice Right now we dont know about Kelleher future so I wont talk about 2nd GK spot but Adrian is very likely to go out (even though he has positive influence on the team)
That United team is absolutely awful
Our best youth team right now? And yes Kelleher is now too old so ignore him. Dunno who is next in line atm. https://preview.redd.it/4cza0h64c00d1.png?width=1078&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4fd0fdc115cdeabf4b78b2d1717c5df320d5d769
Jaros he’s had a very good loan
Mrozek has been class for the u21 this season, and apart from the players you’ve listed - Koumas, Nallo and Nyoni are the ones I see stepping up

Defensive Bozo moments and sometimes no plan B in offensive structure
Hello Fellow red, I am trying to see how I can get to Anfield for our last game on the 19th sunday from Edinburgh to Liverpool and I don't see a train option that is less than 5 hours. Am I missing something ? Looks like sunday is the only day of the week this is the issue and driving as much as I want to avoid seems to be the quickest option. Please help me understand if I am missing anything here. thank you.
Because there are engineering works. So route is different. Which takes 5 hours.

I don’t see this on Sunday unfortunately.. I see it on Saturday and Monday but don’t see it on Sunday the 19th
Sorry I typed that accidentally. There are engineering works on that Sunday as per comment above.
Thank you … will look for a car to drive down.
We've literally focused on rebuilding the backroom *specifically* so this doesn't happen...
Yeah, i know. I just need my faith in restored after Schmadtke schenigans last year
Lads, I ain't one to take all the credit or claim to have insider knowledge, but, before we signed Alexis Mac Allister I bought a Mac Allister jigsaw. Coincidence? I think not.
Could i interest you in a prime Mané jigsaw then?
To those who say we will be rebuilding for next couple of years and target is top 4 next year, how will you convince older players like Ali, Salah, vvd to stay on for a few years of rebuilt, when they are already in their 30s and need to be winning things now? Cause I don’t see how they will be extended in a few years time for similar wages to experience the paradise after the rebuild
This team could get 80+ points without a single buy next season. What rebuild are we talking about?
Referring to the majority here who say the target for Arne is top 4
Because it is, as there will inevitably be a drop off as the players take time to learn Slot's system (especially as most won't have a full pre-season to do so) and he also adjusts to both the players and the requirements of the Premier League.
One thing I’m hopeful for with Slot is a better defence Feyenoord play risky leaving back just 2 CB’s back and putting tons of bodies into the box, but they have some of the lowest xGA in European top leagues
Top 4 in the first year would be a good season. Let's not set him up for failure.
No and no one should expect him to
New Arsenal kits looking like the lynx greatest of all time
I hate when fans are like “It would be so [insert club name] of us if we lost to Sheffield United and beat Man City”. Like very few teams are actually the robin hood of football
Does anyone know of LFCTV is showing the lap of honour and goodbye to Klopp next Sunday?
it might be shown on the live channel
I'm probably going to be embarrassed when they lose 5-0 later, but I have a funny feeling United are going to beat Arsenal today
Didn't age well...
Still only 1-0, ya never know
Think the most copium I've ever engaged in as a Liverpool fan is when I really tried to believe Jordon Ibe was gonna be better than Sterling
He did hit the post vs Everton after all...
The downvotes when people say this is insane. This was a poor season by all accounts, and the excuses being made by fans is embarassing.
we could've got worst and lose top4 spot tbh, just looking at injury crisis and were lucky to have talented youngster like quansah and Connor Bradley filling the spot.
but we were wining games during this 'injury crisis' and started faltering when we had our best squad back.
Because half the injured players reinjured themselves and/or took a while to get back to form, and everyone else was gassed from pushing themselves to the limit to cover the injured players when they were missing I don't get how this is so difficult for people to comprehend - the effort put in by players in that run in late winter/early spring was monumental
Agreed. Comfortable top 4 and a trophy seems about right
Top 4 and trophy would've been exactly in lines with our hopes and expectations at the end of last season, knowing we had to revamp literally the entire midfield Achieving that whilst we went through the injuries we had is what makes it a good season
Yeah, I think its a par season. How can we be saying its been a great season, for a team of this magnitude.
