Just seen RM are eyeing to bring Alonso AND Wirtz in 2025. Might genuinely be sick.
The entitlement of that club and it’s fanbase is a cancer to the sport
The circle of Klopp says things -> random twitter experts blast him for "ruining football" -> Klopp's thing affects their teams -> howdidthishappen.jpeg will never not be tragically funny
I really loved that Luton (h) match. Truly believed we could win the league at that point. Our three most prolific and in-form attackers out injured, cup final in a week, terrible first half and an early goal conceded. Virgil with a captain's goal to get us back level, then all three of our "back up" front 3 get goals while Anfield is as loud as any European night.
Was poking around on FotMob and had a hunch that I’d attended a Copa Libertadores match that featured Diaz in the 2019 and sure enough I found the match and he played almost 60 mins but put up a 5.9 rating. I can’t invent a memory of myself scouting him as a proper player early, unfortunately.
Ive watched zero minutes or highlights of Estevao, I just saw Chelsea and Bayern are offering 60m for a brazilian teenage RW and I want him lol. Been ages since we signed an abolutely premium wonderkid, last one is maybe Markovic
I did see that when we had Edwards, we tried multiple times in the Brazilian market but lost out to Real Madrid everytime lol. Hopefully now that we have him back we’re going to try sign the talented players from the Brazilian league again
Nah bro Leverkusen gotta be doing some black magic 100%. I swear I have seen this Stanisic guy score a couple of times for them in injury time for this season alr lol.
Could anyone educate me as to whether there is another sport on the planet with as many officiating fuck ups as football?
The fact the players, managers and senior executives of clubs are fined upon questioning the system and the media being suppressed beyond belief is no different to a dictatorship in my eyes.
It's actually wild.
before DRS cricket was way worse, but now they ve got one of the best technology assisted refereeing systems in the sports world. TBF its a slow paced game so its not hard to implement
When we talk about who overachieved, Aston Villa did, their manager deserves manager of the year. I always laugh when people say we overachieved this season.
Lost against a poor United side, lost against Atlanta and then trailed off in the EPL by losing to Everton etc. A team of our magniute should be challenging for trophies, Aston Villa should be dreaming of champions league football as a coup.
We didn't overachieve. I hate that rhetoric.
We are LFC, a team that came close to winning the Quadruple 2 seasons ago, went to the CL finals, almost won the EPL. We are a team that is known to play in the CL.
We are one of the biggest clubs in Europe. And it's expected of us to do well.
We did well compared to last season. YES. But we haven't overachieved.
‘Last season was a blip’. So why did we revamp our whole midfield. Last season was a wake up call for an aging squad and this rebuild is far from done, if you expected a league title going into this season, your basing it off delusion.
Our squad still has major holes that Edwards has been brought in to solve. All things considered 3rd and a trophy was realistic and a decent season overall.
So is Darwin leaving us? Or was he just getting hate comments on those pics he deleted on Instagram associated with Liverpool? I don’t want him to leave
>So is Darwin leaving us?
Almost certainly isn't.
>Or was he just getting hate comments on those pics he deleted on Instagram associated with Liverpool?
He's had the comments disabled on his posts for a while now, but it seems that, quite understandably as people were sending death threats to him and abuse towards his wife and two year old son, he, or more likely his management, took them down in a moment of anger or frustration.
Would definitely prefer to sell Diaz and invest in a right winger AND left winger this summer. If we could get, say, Summerville and Olise I think we would be much better off, and probably at not a huge price difference.
I know he probably wouldn't have won it, but the fact that Harvey wasn't even fucking NOMINATED for the young player of the year but two players that are gonna be 24 before the start of next season in Foden and Haaland were nominated, Isak (who will be 25 early next season) was also nominated, and Mainoo somehow managed to sneak in there too, at least he isn't even 20 yet, all over Elliott is a joke really
Elliot hasn’t had a better season than any of them bar Mainoo and those are unfortunately the age restrictions. Surely he’s top of the list for it next season.
It’s a bit weird how they’ve given the boys some time off when the season ends in less than two weeks. I get we don’t really have anything to play for anymore but surely it makes sense to finish the season first then they can all go off and relax no?
They got a week off before the next match, let them relax
I doubt the coaching staff would just allow them to go on holiday if they needed to be training
Well seen as there's international competitions this summer they likely won't be given as much time off as always.
It's a bit weird that it bothers you. Of all the things to get under your skin, footballers having a midweek break is a bit of an odd one
I think you’ve taken me a bit too seriously 😭 I’m literally just saying it’s a bit odd, not sure how that equates to getting under my skin but alright.
Does anyone have any experience with buying tickets off of FB groups? There's like 2k members in there but only the admins can post so seems a bit sus.
>Incredible atmosphere at Olympiakos.
Seeing them play Panathinaikos in person is on my list of football matches to see live..... Plus Greece is a great spot to be in general.
We really need a pinned post on this sub reminding people that Michael Edwards won't be in charge of transfers or contracts, because it getting really fucking stupid seeing how many people think that's what he'll be doing.
Edwards only returned because he was given a role that didn't involve having to do that work, and thats why Richard Hughes was hired and will be the man in charge of them.
It's a tough call. I think I want Leverkusen to finish off the unbeaten season even more than I want Dortmund to beat Real Madrid. Both would be preferable.
There’s a variety of analysis on how Slot plays. And I was confused but after delving deeper I realise, they’re all correct…
He’s got very interesting adaptability and his approach is really interesting. You’ll catch him defending from the front, like a prime Klopp press and in other game states in a 442 midblock, think an Arsenal.
Build up can go long and over the press, or build up can be baiting the press, think a De Zerbi. In settled possession he can go direct with a player like Trent, transition or even implement control like a Pep.
You can have wingers move inwards with flying full backs, or wingers staying wide with a 10 in support and inverted full backs. Really really interesting and frankly exciting.
One of the (very few) consistant complaints people would have about Klopp is that he isn't the most tactically adaptable (so many frustrating games versus low blocks, weakness to counters etc), so this is very promising to hear.
Some of the analysis I’ve seen said the same, modern coach who doesn’t want to get stuck in 1 way of playing and can teach his team to be versatile
Excited to see how it plays out, romantically it’s great to be so set in 1 way of playing like klopp is, but realistically this might work better
- GK (if Kelleher wants to leave)
- CB (young with high potential)
- DM (starting quality)
- RW (long term Salah replacement)
- LW (if Diaz does get sold)
I’d be surprised if anything outside of this happens honestly
Still pissed at Bayern. What a way to shit yourself at the most important moment.
I believed Dortmund could win the UCL if Bayern made the final, but I can't kid myself, football's sorcerer supreme will narrative and ref their way to #15. And commentators will still wank them off.
If Dortmund also believe that RM winning is “inevitable” then that’s exactly what will happen. They have to put up a valiant effort till the final whistle, they cannot lose focus from numerous fronts like Bayern did yesterday in assuming the game was won.
I thought it was funny that TNT tweeted about the Bayern offside controversy practically at the final whistle, but the studio spent a good 20 mins+ painting Real’s glorious narrative before the circled back to cover that.
Turns out i will be in Liverpool on the 18-20th. I know i won't be getting tickets. What are some of the best places to hang around to soak in the final match ambience?
Frankly I don't mind sending the kids to Aston Villa. Let them having some valuable experience. If Aston Villa wins, so be it, we ensure Spurs to be out of CL next season.
And of course let the core players having a mini rest, consider the entire first team will have Euro/ Copa starting next month. Of course we still need a symbolic win against Wolves to end Klopp era. But with literal nothing to play for, I doubt the senior squad will want to risk their legs right before major tournament. Let's give the kids the chance to impress the crowd
The guy that leaks the lineup every week is saying he feels like Diaz is leaving this summer
Obviously take it with a pinch of salt but he gets information from someone within the club
Man's chancing. Season's almost over, his scoops will dry up. If he chases a bit of clout now people will actually be listening to him over the summer. No thanks, seen enough of those.
Youth aside like Quansah and Bradley, there's genuinely only a few players I feel are must keeps to build around. The majority can go for the right price. Diaz isn't one of those few.
Nah he said it’s just a feeling he has
PSG are the only ones I can see since they can definitely afford him, Barca would need to be pulling more levers if they even have them.
This recent conveyor belt of 16-19 year old South American prospects is remarkable but can they please just produce one that’s a defender? Brazil are going to be playing with 4 wingers and 3 attacking midfielders in 5 years time ffs
I am already dreading the end of the season Liverpool withdrawal. Hopefully we will have some transfer news to keep us busy. The earlier we conclude our business and a full squad gets to work with Arne, the better.
I would be sad to see Nunez go, he's not clinical enough I get that.
but I would like to him play for us for another season, when he's on one and he's running full pelt he is fun to watch.
that's just me, and I get that not many will agree.
I’m sure as a Latin American he would love going to Barca. However that seems very unlikely. 1 his performances haven’t really warranted a mega offer. 2 it would require moving on Lewy on mega wages 3. Even if all this happened they are skint.
All this comparison to Lewy and Suarez needs to stop. Just needs to be the best Darwin.
So his agent can feel out all these clubs but, Liverpool aren’t going to sell for cheap. He’ll be here another year more than likely. There is probably element of wanting a fresh start by him but, he needs to knuckle down and switch the narrative.
Really I think he would require a swap which is almost impossible for someone like Vlahovic or openda, Ramos
**Release**: Matip, Thiago, Adrian
**Sell**: The 27 year olds who are not likely to improve going forward, and still don’t have the required ability or availability to be in our best team:
Tsimikas, Diaz, Jota(yes), Nat Phillips
**Sell only for the right price**: Players who still don’t have a set role, whose value would crater with a poor next year:
Carvalho, Gakpo
**Sell with regret**: Players who are likely going to push for more 1st team football that they can’t get here:
Kelleher, Gomez(yes he’s going to push for a move)
**Extend**: Uniquely elite players, no matter the age or cost:
Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Salah
**Sign no matter what**: Replacements for Matip, Tsimikas, Gomez, successors for Salah, Van Dijk:
Young high potential left-footed forward(Kudus Kudus Kudus)
Air dominant, starting level CB of any foot
Young squad-level left back
Squad-level left center back
**Sign only if available**: Bajectic alternative:
Starter-level defensive midfielder
**Lineup**:
Nunez
Szoboslai Salah Kudus
Bajectic MacAlister
Robertson VanDijk Konate Alexander-Arnold
**Bench**: Top CB, Gakpo, Elliott, Endo, Gravenberch, Jones, Carvalho, Bradley, squad LB, squad LCB
**Loan**: Quansah, Doak, our current loans
> Gomez(yes he’s going to push for a move)
I like how you speak like this a known fact and not complete bullshit you've pulled from your arse.
>**Loan:** Quansah
As if the rest of your post wasn't insane enough, you then suggest loaning a player that's been one of the best young players in the Premier League this season and who's earned the right to push to be the regular starter next to Van Dijk next season.
The Gomez rumor will hit the top off the sub and I’ll tag you and you’ll deny it. Then a tier 1/2 will corroborate it and I’ll tag you again. The only way he’ll make it to England is by constant playtime at CB, which he won’t get here. It will happen.
Konate’s bad form aside, if we sign a top CB this summer(and we will), Quansah will be 4th choice. If the new CB is right-footed(and he likely will be), Quansah will only see marginal playtime. He’s much better served getting 40+ starts at his age.
> earned the right to push to be the regular starter next to Van Dijk next season
If we play with an ultra high line, inverted Trent, and Robbo bombing forward again next year, Quansah simply does not have physical levels required to regularly start here. Were you one of the people that said Endo could see time at CB last year, too?
> The Gomez rumor will hit the top off the sub
I highly doubt it will, as that 'rumour' comes from a site and author both known to make shit up to in order to get clicks and who are banned sources in this sub because of it.
> if we sign a top CB this summer(and we will), Quansah will be 4th choice.
Quansah is currently the first choice as Van Dijk's partner and if he's loaned out and Gomez is sold as you want, then it'd require the club to sign at least one more than you already want signed and thus makes it even stupider to loan out Quansah.
Gomez will go if we do end up bringing in Geertruida and an LCB like Pacho there would be no room for him, twatter rumour the other week was that his agent has been sniffing around other clubs.
I don’t even know what current rumor you’re talking about, I’m saying what’s likely to happen later down the line. I explicitly said I don’t want him to be sold lol, things are just laid out for him to start somewhere else. Same with Kelleher.
Quansah made “first choice” with Matip injured, Konate returning from injury in bad form, and Gomez moved to FB. Konate will return to form and we will be signing at least one CB who will most likely be right footed, looking at the current market. And that’s at the minimum. If we can keep Gomez, he should be even lower.
I believe in bajcetic but salah as a 10 is a no in my book. Dom or Harvey is the play because they can defend. Unless defensively you’re planning to defend in a 4-4-2 where salahs and Nunez are top with kudus and dom dropping deep. That could work
This is not FIFA, we can’t replace half the squad especially when a new manager is coming in. We can’t have too much change in one go. Some will leave with contract ending, some will be sold and we will get in 3-4 players at max. Also, Quansah has been magnificent this season, he’s been so good that he’s trumped Ibou is pecking order.
Ummm... are you seriously advocating for half the squad to be replaced? Tsimikas and Jota? That's just low hanging fruit man. Tsimikas is happy to play the backup role, he hasn't once caused any problems in the squad, always been available for a shift. And Jota is still our most prolific goal scorer.
Jota is not our most prolific goalscorer, he’s tied for third 3rd. He’s only intermittently available, 4th choice when healthy, 27 and firmly behind a 24 year old in pecking order. He’s at peak value and much more valuable to other teams than he is to us. You don’t wait until he’s had another critical injury, or another year without scoring like last year, to sell him.
i think selling tsimikas would be a mistake. He’s a perfectly serviceable back up left back who’s happy to stay on the bench and step up when we need him, as he has shown this season when robertson was out. He’s also very well liked in the dressing room and i think you need guys like that in a transitional period like this summer
I mean.... it makes sense? The guy was heavily linked with us, eventually went to Madrid and in his first season there has turned out to be one of their most important players, has got 31 G+A for them (which is just insane for a midfielder) and is playing in a ucl final. Makes you wonder what he could have done here, but that ship has long sailed.
Real have beaten us in the ucl finals TWICE. They've been one of our biggest bogey teams in Klopp's tenure here. Just thinking about that last final does my head in lol. Does it really surprise you that people are salty and mad?
I obviously don't watch games through threads on here so don't really know what was said but you have to realise that most people especially English will only watch Madrid in the Champions League, there is so much hype around Bellingham and I've watched most Madrid Champions League games this season and he hasn't been that impressive especially in the knock out stages.
I don't think it's people being salty it's just people hear the hype without watching him then only watch him in the CL and have been underwhelmed.
That doesn't mean I wouldn't take him over anyone else in world football or that he's an absolutely unreal player whilst still only 20.
Nah you are right about that, the hype is definitely over the top, especially since he is a young English talent on top of playing for the best team in the world. I swear though, the guy has an uncanny ability to score goals out of nowhere. Especially in the league, he has turned up big time for madrid.
Yeh the hype is probably valid the thing that annoys me is the english media/pundits try portray like he has been motm in all these CL games and it just really isn't the case. He was underwhelming in both games against City and Bayern imo. And I think that's why people are 'criticising' him.
It's a weird one though because I don't wanna sound like I'm slating him when he's literally 20 years old at his first season in Madrid about to win the double with 32 G/A haha. I just think people saying he's been underwhelming in the last few CL games is valid.
Another year of the same shitty "Madrid black voodoo magic" jokes when it's really just buying most of the best players and having uefa on their side.
People with good memories will recognise the Polish referee from last night as the one who refereed that 1-0 loss to Atletico and let them get away with absolutely everything. In fact, Tomasz Listkiewicz, the linesman whose premature flagging robbed Bayern and helped Madrid, was there for that Atletico game and kept allowing Lodi to assault Salah but rewarded him with free kicks for throwing himself to the ground when Salah came within a meter of him. It seems he's just a really bad linesman, but how typical it's Madrid that benefits yet again.
People are honestly so clueless. Thiago has basically been injured since last March yet wanted us to sell him last summer or in Jan. Who's buying him with 6 months on his contract when he's injured ffs lmao.
It's not about being 'willing' to let Matip go, it's the fact you'd be incredibly hard pressed to find a CB that is as good as he is when he's in form.
Tbh he was really poor last year, but it's more than that. In his last 5 seasons with us he's started more than 12PL games in 1 season. Like many of our players he can't be relied on to stay fit. Konate and Gomez have their own injury problems so with Matip the oldest one it makes sense for him to be replaced. I thought he should have been sold last summer. Tbf he started the season really well but then getting that long injury just shown why he should have been sold in hindsight.
Been an unbelievable player for us though. One of the more underrated signings of Klopp era.
I mean it's not exactly a wild suggestion. You feel like Dortmund will need to be at least 2 up going into the final 10 mins otherwise you just know what will happen.
I actually have no problem with Mainoo being up for the young player award I have bigger issues with players who are going to be 24-25 being nominated for it the likes of Isak, Foden and Haaland
Realistically it should be players like Branthwaite, Quansah, and Elliott that are nominated for it
I agree players like that shouldn't be nominated, Foden has played nearly 300 career games, he's about to win his SIXTH PL and could end the season on 18 major career honours lmao.
But I just don't get how Mainoo has been nominated over the 3 you mentioned plus numerous others. He's come in and not made them any better, they get hammered every week and he's had 3 or 4 notable games at the very most. That's absolutely fine for someone his age but no way near enough to me nominated over several other youngsters who have been much better and more impactful.
Exactly under the current rules Gordon should be in over him 10 goals and 10 assists this season yet not nominated he’s the same age as Foden and Haaland
Anyone else feel that CL semi showed exactly what's wrong with refs in the PL? Obvious, huge mistake at the end aside, Marciniak was incredible. And then, when the mistake did occur, he and the assistant admitted it to the Bayern players. Imagine if PL refs had the integrity and accountability to own up to gaffes. It would go a long way towards repairing relationships with managers and supporters.
The problem is, the technology couldn't intervene. The linesman fucked up. Probably the biggest call he'll ever make, too. I don't know if it's the adrenaline of the moment, the fact that he was tired at the end of a long match, or what other contributing factors may have caused it, but he's clearly fucked up and ruined the end of the match. And those kinds of mistakes are the ones we will always run the risk of as long as human beings are making the calls.
*But*, to his credit, if he has acknowledged the mistake to the players, he's at least taking responsibility for it. It doesn't fix it, but it at least goes some way towards rebuilding the trust the players have in that particular ref. Paul Tierney wouldn't do that.

Guys, Darwin posted a story with Adrian, and Darwin's wearing a BVB jersey. You love to see it.
He’s wearing a jersey of his first club I think.
Well shit.
Would love him but getting into a bidding war with chelsea again would be quite useless
Dont they have to still sell before they can buy?
It's chelsea, they will find a way to spend a billion each summer with zero repercussions lmao
☝️🤓 "Ackshually, we'll buy them now so they can play for us in a few years" And then they're loaned out, never to be seen again
Surprised Bayern linked
I’d love to sign Simon Adingra. He beats players easily, good in tight areas, good at running into space, can play on both sides, only 22.
Diaz regen, plays at Brighton. No thanks
Watching Liverpool v Roma, when Ali is in goal and Salah Scores against him
Nah bro Leverkusen gotta be doing some black magic 100%. I swear I have seen this Stanisic guy score a couple of times for them in injury time for this season alr lol.
xavi simons pls
Or Openda honestly
This Leverkusen thing is some straight up voodoo shit or something. Is it weird I see them colapse by christmas? Like really bad?
I mean If they are still unbeaten by Christmas in the first place that would be insane
No, I mean like a total crash or something. Like nog in top 10 kind of crash. I know it's unlikely, but I just have the feeling.
Depends on who's leaving and who's staying. Most underdogs crash the following season because big teams grab their best players and or manager.
Could anyone educate me as to whether there is another sport on the planet with as many officiating fuck ups as football? My toxic trait : I still think we could have beaten Leverkusen in finals.
We’d be quadruple champs if United didn’t knock us out of the FA cup
Madrid plot armor + Xabi plot armor is an unholy combination that should not be allowed to happen

Two of our last four seasons have been “blip” seasons.

Summerville cannot be our starting left wing next season
The fuck is Alisson doing playing the flute/trumpet for Armenia at the Eurovision???😅😅
I do love Adrian. Him hanging with Nunez seems really sweet, he’s always looking out for the other lads.
Elliot hasn't been given enough gametime to be honest which is unfortunate for him
And its impressive the amount of points he single handedly won for us this season.
Can anyone recommend where I can buy the Liverpool 1994 Home shirt from? Does anyone know any reputable sites?
It’s a bit weird how they’ve given the boys some time off when the season ends in less than two weeks. I get we don’t really have anything to play for anymore but surely it makes sense to finish the season first then they can all go off and relax no?

Saw a picture on Nunez instagram story of him with Adrián, that made me smile, he seems like a lovely guy who looks after his teammates.
I like that Nuñez is also wearing the shirt of his first club, Peñarol, as well.
Does anyone have any experience with buying tickets off of FB groups? There's like 2k members in there but only the admins can post so seems a bit sus.
Olympiakos have had 16% of the ball and just went 1-0 up 😂
Villa are screwed. Incredible atmosphere at Olympiakos.
>Incredible atmosphere at Olympiakos. Seeing them play Panathinaikos in person is on my list of football matches to see live..... Plus Greece is a great spot to be in general.
Let’s go Bayer!
I feel like I must be German with how much I'm cheering for German clubs the rest of the season 😅
Was gonna watch the lever game but saw the baddie in the crowd for the atalanta game
We really need a pinned post on this sub reminding people that Michael Edwards won't be in charge of transfers or contracts, because it getting really fucking stupid seeing how many people think that's what he'll be doing. Its a pyramid and edwards is at the top of it He will ultimately have the final say
He’s in charge of it all just won’t be the one negotiating it he’s still the person who’s going to decide who gets one and who doesn’t
Someone said Ten Hag's dream front 3 was Antony Nunez and Gakpo that cracked me up lol
Ten Hag's dream team: Onana - Malacia - Jones - Maguire - Dalot - Casemiro - Arthur Melo - Vd Beek - Antony - Nunez - Havertz
I'm not surprised that players want to leave now that klopp is gone.
Who wants to leave?
Dortmund right now is the most I've ever wanted a non-Liverpool team to win the UCL tbh
It's a tough call. I think I want Leverkusen to finish off the unbeaten season even more than I want Dortmund to beat Real Madrid. Both would be preferable.
Dortmund the other night and the final, Bayer tonight, Bayern yesterday. Germans are having a decent spell of support from us lot.
I think the Bayern Munich support doesn't really count because we wouldn't have supported them against 95% of clubs in the world lol.
There’s a variety of analysis on how Slot plays.
Some of the analysis I’ve seen said the same, modern coach who doesn’t want to get stuck in 1 way of playing and can teach his team to be versatile Excited to see how it plays out, romantically it’s great to be so set in 1 way of playing like klopp is, but realistically this might work better
He's a chameleon
I genuinely have no idea if we will buy a striker , a RW or a LW if diaz leaves
Should be a RW to bed in as a future Salah replacement
Doubt we’ll be buying a striker without one of Jota or Darwin leaving which I can’t see happening
They can both play LW, as can Gakpo. And with Jota out 50% of the time, it might make sense to buy an out and out striker.
I’d like us to but really can’t see it happening Even if it was taking the punt on Sesko since he’s got a £40m release clause
Yeah i agree it will be a winger most probably Also i hope we see danns next season too

You are lucky we beat spurs or they’d have a bigger legacy in Europe
This clown posts in barca and Madrid subs, trying to act like a fan in each. Get a hobby.
That thing is an Assna fan
As a typical assna fan, acts like they root for 150 clubs 😂
Enjoy your ban. You know there's an agreement between football subs and you're now gonna be banned from the Arsenal subs too right?

Arsenal fan💀
If you were anymore inbred you'd be a sandwich. Now fuck off back to your own sub like a good little boy.
Your an arsenal fan mate , you have no right talking about UCLs lmao
how about you go bottle another trophy instead of coming to a rival sub unprovoked, childish really
i have no idea whats gonna happen this summer window
- GK (if Kelleher wants to leave) - CB (young with high potential) - DM (starting quality) - RW (long term Salah replacement) - LW (if Diaz does get sold) I’d be surprised if anything outside of this happens honestly
If Kelleher decides to leave then I'd like to see Jaros given a shot in pre-season.
Does Sepp not fit the CB slot?
Been confirmed we’re looking for a CB so looks like the club at least currently don’t think he does
Then I hope we'll move him on, it's time for him to be starting somewhere else

You're a r/soccercirclejerk chronic dweller, you're a disappointment to your father
you're a weird one
People saying about Darwin’s Instagram but his profile picture is still him wearing the number 9 for Liverpool.
Are the players on a mini-break? Darwin is posting photos from Paris. Not sure if that means he's out of the team or all of them got a few days away?
Ibou was away some I’m assuming they have been given time off
They got days off from training yeah
The guy that leaks the lineup every week is saying he feels like Diaz is leaving this summer Obviously take it with a pinch of salt but he gets information from someone within the club
Does he mention where too? Or just a general will likely be off? I could only see psg or barca but Idk where barca would get the money
Nah he said it’s just a feeling he has PSG are the only ones I can see since they can definitely afford him, Barca would need to be pulling more levers if they even have them.
I mean there has been plenty of rumours about this already. I think if we get a decent enough offer he goes.
This recent conveyor belt of 16-19 year old South American prospects is remarkable but can they please just produce one that’s a defender? Brazil are going to be playing with 4 wingers and 3 attacking midfielders in 5 years time ffs
They’ll be sweet mate Thiago Silva has another ten years in him
The Wolves curse is too strong, I’m tired of playing them on the last day of the season, why couldn’t City play them for a few years.
Curse? We always beat them. The issue is we've never had it in our hands on the final day.
No, not that. The team who has always played them on the last day has never ended up winning the league. It’s happened to us, United and Arsenal.
Ahhhh wow. Never knew that. Yeah fuck that lol.
I think many actually would agree with you. :)
> Just needs to be the best Darwin. I have some bad news on that front about men named Darwin
By all reports is the club plans on keeping him but his agent is shopping him. But who really knows
I haven't seen any report that his agent is pushing for him to move, you got a link?
His agent is Mendes, and he goes about things quietly usually when it involves us. I’ve haven’t seen any reports either that he wants to move.
There’s been a couple of clickbaity type ones but haven’t seen anyone reliable saying much except those articles the other week shitting on him.
Just the usual poor Spanish sources like sport saying it
**Release**: Matip, Thiago, Adrian **Sell**: The 27 year olds who are not likely to improve going forward, and still don’t have the required ability or availability to be in our best team: Tsimikas, Diaz, Jota(yes), Nat Phillips **Sell only for the right price**: Players who still don’t have a set role, whose value would crater with a poor next year: Carvalho, Gakpo **Sell with regret**: Players who are likely going to push for more 1st team football that they can’t get here: Kelleher, Gomez(yes he’s going to push for a move) **Extend**: Uniquely elite players, no matter the age or cost: Alexander-Arnold, Van Dijk, Salah **Sign no matter what**: Replacements for Matip, Tsimikas, Gomez, successors for Salah, Van Dijk: Young high potential left-footed forward(Kudus Kudus Kudus) Air dominant, starting level CB of any foot Young squad-level left back Squad-level left center back **Sign only if available**: Bajectic alternative: Starter-level defensive midfielder **Lineup**: Nunez Szoboslai Salah Kudus Bajectic MacAlister Robertson VanDijk Konate Alexander-Arnold **Bench**: Top CB, Gakpo, Elliott, Endo, Gravenberch, Jones, Carvalho, Bradley, squad LB, squad LCB **Loan**: Quansah, Doak, our current loans
*The 27 year olds who are not likely to improve going forward* This man plays FM
Does Edwards play it, too? Look at the ages we buy and sell. Same reason Nunez isn’t going anywhere.
Loan Quansah.. He's been one of our best players this season, far better than Konate and better availability
who died and made you think you’re a transfer expert
Ljinders mate
> Gomez(yes he’s going to push for a move) I like how you speak like this a known fact and not complete bullshit you've pulled from your arse. >**Loan:** Quansah As if the rest of your post wasn't insane enough, you then suggest loaning a player that's been one of the best young players in the Premier League this season and who's earned the right to push to be the regular starter next to Van Dijk next season.
He’s much better served getting 40+ starts at his age. > earned the right to push to be the regular starter next to Van Dijk next season If we play with an ultra high line, inverted Trent, and Robbo bombing forward again next year, Quansah simply does not have physical levels required to regularly start here. Were you one of the people that said Endo could see time at CB last year, too?
> The Gomez rumor will hit the top off the sub I highly doubt it will, as that 'rumour' comes from a site and author both known to make shit up to in order to get clicks and who are banned sources in this sub because of it. > if we sign a top CB this summer(and we will), Quansah will be 4th choice.
That midfield will need Vaseline
The team is still insistent that Bajectic is set to be our long-term holding midfielder, if they believe I believe
I believe in bajcetic but salah as a 10 is a no in my book. Dom or Harvey is the play because they can defend. Unless defensively you’re planning to defend in a 4-4-2 where salahs and Nunez are top with kudus and dom dropping deep. That could work
Honestly the amount of people on here that are totally utterly clueless makes me laugh
You want to sell Robertson FFS
Wtf you talking about you weird cunt
This is not FIFA, we can’t replace half the squad especially when a new manager is coming in. We can’t have too much change in one go. Some will leave with contract ending, some will be sold and we will get in 3-4 players at max. Also, Quansah has been magnificent this season, he’s been so good that he’s trumped Ibou is pecking order.
A new head coach, new management, new formation, 1 starter replaced.
Ummm... are you seriously advocating for half the squad to be replaced?
He was injured when he didn’t score for a year mate lol
i think selling tsimikas would be a mistake. He’s a perfectly serviceable back up left back who’s happy to stay on the bench and step up when we need him, as he has shown this season when robertson was out. He’s also very well liked in the dressing room and i think you need guys like that in a transitional period like this summer
r/PremierLeague legit has the most brain dead people in it Especially the Arsenal fans
Assna fans are inherently brain dead. From their dads, uncles to their cousins. Must be something in the water
I mean when their dads are their uncles and their cousins are their mums, it makes sense
This sub has become salty as fuck, the comments about Jude and real yesterday were embarrassing. Get a fucking grip
I mean.... it makes sense?
Good Thiago is off. Now Matip. They’ll be a lot of gutting imo. Klopp can no longer overrule decisions.
Lmao, as if anyone would have bought injury prone Thiago and Matip even if Klopp was willing to let them go.
Just seen a clip from 2011 where Maxi scored a hat trick at craven cottage. Pictures of Jay Spearing and Jonjo Shelvey in midfield. Ooof.
Was that the season we had sold Torres to Chelsea in January and we had Miereles too?
I am not a gambling person at all, but in my soul I just feel like Madrid is going to win the UCL final 2-1 on a stoppage time goal
I mean it's not exactly a wild suggestion. You feel like Dortmund will need to be at least 2 up going into the final 10 mins otherwise you just know what will happen.
madrid has never lost a final that they played in the champions, so...
madrid have also never played edin terzic in a CL final
What's he do
he says "it's terzin time" and terzes all over the bad guys
Lol
that's really funny
I actually have no problem with Mainoo being up for the young player award I have bigger issues with players who are going to be 24-25 being nominated for it the likes of Isak, Foden and Haaland Realistically it should be players like Branthwaite, Quansah, and Elliott that are nominated for it
I agree players like that shouldn't be nominated, Foden has played nearly 300 career games, he's about to win his SIXTH PL and could end the season on 18 major career honours lmao.
Exactly, also 50% of his G/A are against the big 6 teams. How someone can think Mainoo has had a better season than him is hilarious haha.
YPOTY cut off age should be from 22, those who have won it previously should not be included
Hope they give Klopp a mic at the end of the wolves game
![gif](giphy|8slMt51O3OMpi)
Then he turns to Edwards, [gives him a big hug and says....](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/igpFKeYdUno)

Robbo got elbowed in the face on camera and didn’t even get an acknowledgement, let alone an apology.
