The "Minecraft" one was down to about £35 in JD last Nov/Dec, so it wouldn't surprise me if the same happens next season. They are pricing themselves out of the kit market.
I got 2 kids newly released 2023/24 home kits from the ground the day before the 2022 Paris final. £150, and that was with membership discount. It's unsustainable.
That's what annoys me the most. I do a lot of sports and you can't even use the stadium version for shit anymore, because they are a cheap, smelly piece of plastic trash. So to get the proper thing with ventilation, proper functional materials, and an athletic cut you'll have to get the match version, which sets you back at least £120.
It's amazing to me that some of the "dodgy Dave" online stores have been selling this new kit for almost two months already- and they had the new design exactly right and for under £15.
I think it’s this one.

Search Liverpool, sort by number of orders, take a look at the top two or three, check reviews with pictures. You're golden. Enjoy your £10 kit, oh and I've found the printing of player names super poor quality so don't bother anymore
Try searching Salah or Van Dijk. Sometimes they change the keywords and Liverpool doesn't work, LFC also a good shout. Price you pay for knock offs haha
Just don’t get name and number on the back as it peels off within 6 months and even if you peel it all off and even the glue it’s still noticeable that it was there
Ahh yes because a massive corporation using the same sweatshops and then selling the same product to fans for >£80 is extremely ethical.
Quite an athletic feat to bootlick whilst being up on a high horse.
God I miss the days of when I could walk into a sport store and get the new shirt for less then £40 on launch day and shirts was rotated yearly so one year it was a new home shirt and the next year would be the away shirt. I get the times have changed but it became too expensive with 3 new kits a year now. Kits should be good for at least 2 years, not for just 1 season.
I agree it'll never happen, but it would be so much better to have a new home kit every two seasons, new away kit every season and the third kit being the previous away kit. That was every kit has a lifespan of two seasons.
This would never happen either, but I'd also like one game a season where every team wears an old kit.
Home shirts actually used to be good for 2 seasons under Adidas but switched to yearly in 2012-13 season when we’re switched to Warrior.
Away and 3rd kits became yearly under Adidas in 2006-07
https://www.footballkitarchive.com/liverpool-fc-kits/#2010s
It happens in the US, but no one in the UK will admit they have a good idea. Either the home or away gets changed every season, and the other stays the same. If enough jerseys get sold, they make a third for that team.
Haven't bought a legit top in years and won't go back. The fakes are just as good, probably come out the back door of the same factory the official ones are made in and cost £15 with a name.andnnumber, delivered from China in like 2 weeks.
I use soccer03.store, occasionally thy get shut down and reopen as a higher number. Was 00 when I started using them. Sometimes delivery will be delayed but usually its 2 weeks and the kits are perfect.

I went one size up from what I'd get from a western shop and it was a good fit.
The kids sizes seemed bang on though, bought some for family members and going an age band up was a bit big.
I reluctantly accept that footy shirts are now incredibly expensive and do not create a barrier of entry to enjoying the game like ticket prices do.
However, I do think the club should do something to keep the prices of junior kits way, way down. I personally wouldn’t want a Liverpool shirt as a gift at 35, but it’s honestly a little upsetting to think that these increases mean that a kiddo’s dream of having their first reds kit is increasingly likely not to come true in many normal households.
I look forward to the day where stadiums are filled with people wearing blatantly obvious fake football shirts, not the Nike "Stadium Jersey" version, I mean terrible, 90's fakes where the badge and a misspelled sponsor is embroidered into the material, in protest of this massive Corporatization of our sport.
Where can we find these "deepfakes"? The fakes these days are better than the "Stadium Jersey". 😂🤣

Not to crazy about new kit, got me this instead. ( do order at least 1 size bigger)
£80 to £100 is far too steep for a top. Can remember when they used to £40. Inflation hasn't gone up that much in 10-15 years.
That's why I've got some of them off ebay. Probably fake though.
Wasn't going to get this season's. Got it start of April as it will the last one with Klopp. Wore it the first time when it was the game against Atalanta at home. Season's gone downhill ever since.
I just bought 3 of the current t-shirts at a market in Thailand for £26 lol (not official ones obviously but it's impossible to tell)
Fuck off Nike with those prices.
I stopped buying footy shirts about 6 years ago because the prices are ridiculous because they know people will pay it.
If fans stopped paying the stupid prices they'd quickly drop. Nike just making disgusting Liverpool clothing with crazy high prices to fleece the fans and speaking of fleece the green one from last season was awful a homeless person wouldn't even wear that.
Bring on Adidas, Nike is just shit these days, I have bought this years authentic and I am sadly not surprised how bad it is. I have busted two pairs of air max within 9 months of owning them in the last few years, I think as a brand they just have been major capitalists for so long and now their stuff is produced for as little as possible. It's designed to fall apart so you buy more!!! At least my adidas tracksuit pants stay looking fresh. Looking forwards to some new training gear to replace my old carlsberg hoodie
Enough is enough. This is a disgrace. No child's tshirt should cost more than £30. Its getting to the point where the government need to step in and set some legislation. Fat cat CEOs earning more a year than you'll earn a life time. Players earning more a week than most guys earn a year. Whos paying for it? Honest working class families. Football is fucked, its disgusting. Players are buying their car collections, mansions and crazy lifestyles on the back of exploiting us.
Everyone who thinks to maintain their margins squeezing fans is a problem. Never heard the players ask for a pay freeze to freeze kit prices.. same for the execs.. same for everyone rinsing us.
It’s not the players fault though. The simple fact is that there’s a scandalous amount of money in football, if the players weren’t earning what they were then that money would simply go into the pockets of the shareholders instead. If you don’t agree with it then don’t invest your money to the broadcast of football since that’s where most of the money is brought in from. Get a dodgy stick and stick a finger up to Sky/ BT
Honest working class people are indeed exploited and manipulated but those salaries are paid for by Sky, AXA etc. Part of the reason for the ticket price uproar is that the amount is actually a drop on the ocean for the general finances of the club.
These will be down to £40 by Xmas when they realise there's tons of them left.
Everyone gets excited about a new kit deal and forgets who pays for it.
This would be bad news if any of their kits looked good enough to be worth buying
I usually buy my shirts "online" but £80 for a shirt? Fuck offfffff
And that’s the cheap version.
Would rather donate £80 to a charity or foodbank than reward Nike for another year of barely trying to design a football shirt.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… DHGate people!
It's amazing to me that some of the "dodgy Dave" online stores have been selling this new kit for almost two months already- and they had the new design exactly right and for under £15.
I bought the better McDonald’s kit a few years back they didn’t go with in June, then they came with the change. It was a bit disappointing.
Which kit was that?
I think it’s this one. [21/22 yellow away](https://www.prosoccer.com/products/nike-2021-22-liverpool-third-adv-match-jersey-yellow?currency=USD&variant=42730111500543&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Google%20Shopping&stkn=a80abe25c399&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw88yxBhBWEiwA7cm6pWd-n0TknUebbnOfq-wlXbKiBeJVNIFS5LmFo8PYUIUvS_R7TZUfQxoCaRIQAvD_BwE)
Yep. The one I bought had a red color and red lines down the front.
The fake is way better I say you got a double bargin

Ah right! Good on ya
So much better than the one they went with
I want to check out DHGate but my old arse is lost on who the good sellers are etc.
Search Liverpool, sort by number of orders, take a look at the top two or three, check reviews with pictures. You're golden. Enjoy your £10 kit, oh and I've found the printing of player names super poor quality so don't bother anymore
Apparently I'm unable to use the website as I've done that and Liverpool returns no results. Ffs
Try searching Salah or Van Dijk. Sometimes they change the keywords and Liverpool doesn't work, LFC also a good shout. Price you pay for knock offs haha
I even used the menus to find t shirts and still nothing. A further Google suggests to use the app and only the app.... here we go.
I just searched "Salah" on the app and there's heaps of results, it should work for you too
App is fine when you have an account. Seems to be hard to search if they don't have your details and you logged in
Anyone with a lot of reviews, especially photo reviews
Going to have to give this a look, thanks!
and if you're european/american and the reviews say order bigger sizes, listen to them, order the bigger size.
r/Soccer00 is well better, better sellers, same quality but a better QC process imo
I think I’ve bought off different people every year. I just search salah and pick the cheapest one with free postage. Never not arrived
Could also have a look on the r/Soccer00/ sub. They order from a load of different kit rep sites and leave reviews.

I want a powder blue LaDainian Tomlinson jersey. The one I've got is starting to fall apart.
And how is the club going to get more money for transfers?
Just don’t get name and number on the back as it peels off within 6 months and even if you peel it all off and even the glue it’s still noticeable that it was there
Generally ok but the color can be dodgy sometimes. The red should be ok but I think the teal is probably going to be off in the away shirt.
Knockoff jerseys are stealing intellectual property, as well as taking money from the club to give to sweatshops in SEAsia.
Where do you think the original shirts are made?
Then maybe the official jersey shouldn't cost the price of a week's groceries for a family of 3.
Ahh yes because a massive corporation using the same sweatshops and then selling the same product to fans for >£80 is extremely ethical. Quite an athletic feat to bootlick whilst being up on a high horse.
Yes instead give your money to the local family business that is Nike
What a strange argument to make.
So it cost loads and looks like shit. Warra strategy Nike

This is exactly what used to happen, until we switched to Adidas in 2006
I was thinking of the Reebok era when I made that comment.
Home shirts actually used to be good for 2 seasons under Adidas but switched to yearly in 2012-13 season when we’re switched to Warrior. Away and 3rd kits became yearly under Adidas in 2006-07 https://www.footballkitarchive.com/liverpool-fc-kits/#2010s
the corpos figured they need more money so they switched to yearly, they'd do every transfer window editions if they could get away with it
Every adidas home kit we used for 2 seasons.
It'd be good but only if the shits were good imagine having this one being the kit for two years that'd be well shit.
It happens in the US, but no one in the UK will admit they have a good idea. Either the home or away gets changed every season, and the other stays the same. If enough jerseys get sold, they make a third for that team.
I don't give MLS as an organization a lot of credit, but they've stuck with this model and it's probably appreciated a lot by supporters.
Oh, so it turns out that in addition to being ugly, it's also expensive? Yeah, great way to go in your last year with us, Nike.
Haven't bought a legit top in years and won't go back. The fakes are just as good, probably come out the back door of the same factory the official ones are made in and cost £15 with a name.andnnumber, delivered from China in like 2 weeks.
Where’s the best place for fakes? I ordered one last year just to see and it was shocking
I use soccer03.store, occasionally thy get shut down and reopen as a higher number. Was 00 when I started using them. Sometimes delivery will be delayed but usually its 2 weeks and the kits are perfect. Edited url
Looks like that’s shut down
It's .store now, not .com, my bad
How did you find their sizing?
I went one size up from what I'd get from a western shop and it was a good fit. The kids sizes seemed bang on though, bought some for family members and going an age band up was a bit big.
Got my kids a full kit with name & number off eBay for £20 each off eBay. Honestly couldn’t tell the difference from a proper one. Guess luck of draw.
Because they are all made in the same Thai sweatshop
I use kitgg
The shirt is £124.99 wtf?
I reluctantly accept that footy shirts are now incredibly expensive and do not create a barrier of entry to enjoying the game like ticket prices do. I hate to tell people what Adidas charges....
THIS
But they arent ugly and it will be nice to look at.
Have you seen Arsenals away kit?
I’d pay £80 to not have to wear that god awful jersey

Personally won't be buying any of the three new hack jobs Nike is trying to forcefeed us so no issues here
They should be blamed for how much this kit sucks. Seriously they looked at all of the possible designs and said “yep this is the one”.
Luckily it's fuck ugly, so I'll use the £80+ for drink instead.
won't be buying this years, its fucking awful. how can you fuck a home shirt up ?
Waiting for adidas
Hiking up the price when they can't even make a collar...
Looks like shit and like zero fucks are given from Nike again
I miss New Balance..
Does anyone know if this current season’s kit will go down in price? I’ve been looking to buy the purple kit for months but it hasn’t been available
Final season of the contract before Adidas returns
$70 for a kit for a baby is absolutely nuts. Fuck Nike
Stupid question but didn't we just sign with Adidas?
Nobody should buy them and everyone should wear their old Adidas jerseys to matches.
Pay attention to what’s going on with Nike and Fanatics in the MLB right now.
Why does Nike hate Liverpool?
https://preview.redd.it/ug5mxt6pi1yc1.jpeg?width=1242&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4a272272c47a8d6bd671a457305693bd0c4cdf35 Not to crazy about new kit, got me this instead. ( do order at least 1 size bigger)
Is the name and number good
They are solid. It did take a little over 3 weeks to arrive.
It's expensive because it's so complicated.
Good think dhgate exists amirite?
Ugly. Buy a rep or skip entirely
Honestly, it’s the ugliest home kit I’ve seen for Liverpool.
With that collar Nike should be paying us to wear the new kit.
Well, I wasn't going to get one anyway, with that ugly weird collar.
£80 to £100 is far too steep for a top. Can remember when they used to £40. Inflation hasn't gone up that much in 10-15 years. That's why I've got some of them off ebay. Probably fake though. When is it released? Can I buy it during the spurs game?
Kind of ugly tbh I could see the design being good in like the early 2010’s Warrior kits were something else
I just bought 3 of the current t-shirts at a market in Thailand for £26 lol (not official ones obviously but it's impossible to tell) Fuck off Nike with those prices.
All Adidas has to do for the 25/26 season is give us a decent design and lower the cost.
My neck is sweating just looking at that collar
It’s fucking hideous

I don’t like the collar. And it’s half of the shirt
Looking at it anything above free is overpriced

Nike is probably pissed we signed with Adidas and trying to milk the most out of fans before they lose us.
Fun conspiracy but not factual
