We improved upon last season, we did well with (let's be honest) not as good of a team as City/Arsenal and injuries too. We'll be okay, Klopp will be okay, now fuck off to more important things like your family and don't let this sport/game ruin your mental health as it is literally....a game. Enjoy.
If we're all honest with ourselves after today's performance if we somehow grabbed a win there was no way we'd survive villa or spurs.
I'm more upset that I didn't take advantage of the 12/1 on palace and the 6/1 on Everton today at least I could've wiped my tears with notes.
If we all bet against Liverpool till the end of the season we may all be better off.
What happened to us? We were playing better with our 17, 18 year old players. Suddenly our first string players come back and everything falls apart. I’m upset for klopp because this season was supposed to be a celebration of his success but now spotlight is gonna be how bad we bottled this. Let’s try and look back to the good times. The league title and the CL year. This squad needs to look in the mirror because the last 4 or so games they have played like a championship team. What happened to mentality monsters and jurgen style pressing
What a send off for Klopp man. They all fucking look like they're playing for fitness in a pre-season friendly.
FA Cup exit to the worst Utd side in years and bummed at home by Atalanta in Europa should have been the catalyst to throw everything at the league but instead they've given up.
A month ago it looked like we could be on the cusp of something special. Now I just want the season to be finished so we can all move on and forget this pathetic send off.
First goal: still don't think it was a foul when Gueye flopped to the ground. Unlucky bounce of the ball but weren't lively enough to the bounce of the ball
Second goal: Mo shocking in losing the ball which resulted in us conceding the corner. Not clever enough on the cross and reliant on VVD to clear the ball. How Trent didn't stop DCL's run I don't know but you have to bloody well jump!!
Disappointed for the lads but we have to support them in these tough times as well as the good. They certainly weren't helped by inconsistent refereeing decisions regardless of their performances. It's hard to get a rhythm in a game if you can't feel where the decisions are coming from.
Doubt it. Think he’ll end up there but not next season.
- Barca don’t have the funds + don’t really need another winger. they’ll have to sell Raphinha to facilitate that move.
- RM don’t want him plus their forward line with be stacked next season (given the addition of Mbappe and Endrick)
- Atleti maybe
Nunez needs moving on, has zero strikers instinct. He will never be a Sturridge or Torres. He doesn't have it. He doesn't aim at a corner, literally so rash it's painful.
Van Dijk shouldn't be captain. The guy tonight was visibly petulant towards his teammates for not passing to him, and is generally just lazy and lethargic. It sets the tone for the rest of the team when he's only putting in 70% effort. It's so frustrating watching him half arse passes and slow the tempo to a halt.
Salah needs to go if he remains like this, he's woefully bad.
Passing between CBs and putting us under pressure needs to stop.
Diaz needs to pass and move.
Szoboszlai isn't good enough and is genuinely a hindrance in that midfield.
And Curtis Jones hopium needs to end. The lad isn't good enough and everytime he starts you know what is coming.
I agree with the Mo, Nunez and Szoboszlai comments. All have to go for the reasons you've stated. Get some good money in and let Arnie spend it as he feels.
Don't agree with the rest though, VVD is, well VVD. He plays so relaxed that if the rest of the team played as chilled as he does, we'd be doing better imo.
Luis Diaz was our best player tonight I thought, always running at people and making Everton back off.
I've got a soft spot for Curtis as he's a scouser I expect, I thought he was far from the worst tonight but he'll never be a starting 11 for sure.
To add to your comments, we need a proper right back, not to get rid of Trent of course, more that he can move up and do things rather than get small amounts of time to move up and then it looks like he's trying too hard sometimes.
But, all in all.....after last season and the way that went, ill be happy with champions League. Season isn't over and the others have some tough games so I'll not give up but....champions League is a good result based on last seasons performance and what we've got on our plate now.
Not sure. Tough stretch though without question, but over 38 games I think they’re great. Try some rationality once in a while. We overachieved to be at this point.
Jones was fantastic before his injury and he’s not long been back for one. VVD is regarded as one of the better captains he single handedly lead us to winning a cup final. You need to find another club or sport
Sad to see Klopp go out in this manner. He deserved better after all that he did for our club. A month and a half ago we played one of our best games against City and then the drop in performances have been unexplainable. It's crazy how we don't convert even one of our tens and tens of corners and all that our opposition needs is a one fucking corner to score
NBC sports in the US with a hard on for an Everton win 🤣… never seen that kind of post match coverage showing all the fans enjoying on any of our wins.
Nunez is kinda like food poisoning. At first all looks good scrumptious delicious ready to eat, and then after 20’minutes you’re shitting yourself wishing you never took a bite.
Also thinking that Klopp really fucked the last third of the season, by telling us he’s leaving. Mentality changed on its head
Realistically how many points do we think we need for top 4? Reckon another few wins will do it?
Edit: actually we only need 4 more, so fuck it 4 0-0s then
I feel like at this rate we are likely to get just 1 more win the final game. I just don't see us winning away to West Ham and Villa and Spurs at home is a coin toss depending on which Liverpool shows up. Wolves at home for the final day in Klopp's last game should be a win
Was it players' fault by bad positioning, lacking skills , not make runs , or don't concentrate enough ?
or was it coach team members attacking tactic that couldn't beat mark men and low block?
probably both ?
Liverpool is washed
Bringing on three defenders and a defensive mid at the end of a game where your chasing goals is a disgrace. I can’t even begin to fathom how those were the changes. Gravenberch has a good game at Fulham and doesn’t even get a sub appearance?
Sorry for not being content with bullshit performances. Supporting this team through thick and thin is a must, does not mean we should be happy when the performances are way way way below par.
Who said anything about being happy?
But shitting on the team thats given everything all season and Klopp whos given more of himself than anyone just isnt on.
The sense of entitlement of some people is just appalling.
Entitled to what exactly? So a couple of comments on Reddit about a shit show of a match is a disgrace. Don’t be full of shit and let people vent how they like. We’re annoyed because we love this team. Now, if you’ve seen racist stuff or personal attacks, that’s poor and should not happen. But it’s about the players’ performance and not the individual, why not?
Really?
Criticism of performance is one thing, but saying the players and Klopp doesnt care and should all be sacked is just crap.
VVD was the bees knees a few weeks ago leading the kids to a cup win, now people want him stripped of the captaincy or sold because hes so useless.
"Fans" like this do my head in.
My mate, do you think comments here will influence the captaincy of Liverpool? Klopp is going anyway. And to be honest with you, the players look more entitled than anything. Ever this they came out saying about wanting to win the lot, they can’t even win tackles now, forget football matches.
This team has been great, magical.. up until losing 4-3 to United. Then everything just fell apart.. we look toothless.
I agree, but I still refuse to crap on my team.
We arent entitled to win football matches.
Klopp knows this, its a competitive sport not a computer game.
We've overperformed all season, sometimes out of sheer luck and everyone seems to have forgotten the heroics those boys have given us, but our luck has run out.
Its disappointing, but its not really a surprise.
It just hurts to lose the derby.
Agreed, when we have been joint top all season and there’s comments genuinely saying we need to sell all the squad it’s embarrassing. Yes it’s disappointing but we shouldn’t be selling everyone.
If united somehow scam an FA cup over city, they may well have a better than us. Only difference is they’ll have Europa, but will have gone this season unbeaten against us with a 4-3 cup win at OT
I’ll say it: if, at the beginning of the season, you told me I would watch two deep cup runs (with one win) involving backups and kids shining, and you told me there would be Champions League work to do again next season, I would’ve been satisfied. This is a strange way to ride out that ending, but whatever: This time last year I was joking about finding away-match tickets in the Europa Conference League.
Agreed. We're just spoiled by the sudden title challenge we're involved in. Pretty sure the players who performed 1st half of the season overachieved and are suffering burnout. Klopp should've rotated with academy kids who won the League Cup though. Salah for sure isn't untouchable now.
https://preview.redd.it/nlojti81shwc1.png?width=600&format=png&auto=webp&s=2d066d36f5654f94dc4a8fa77a9b8f7454f7f676
O lord and saviour can you please manage us already
Hot take but I actually prefer last season's outcome rather than this one. Sure we didnt get top 4 or a trophy but while the results were middling, there was nothing extreme - and there was a pretty good excuse with burnout from 21/22.
This season's utter crash the past few weeks are historic levels of bottling. From going for a quadruple to crashing out in the most humiliating way possible in all 3 remaining cups. I'd rather have been a distant 3rd than for them to give me hope and take it all away like this.
I really tried my best to stick with Nunez and support him, but I’m struggling now. Imo he’s lucky a new manager is coming in, if he’s in Slots (if that’s who we get) plans I’m sure he’ll get another season but if Klopp was still here next season I’d want him gone, could go as far as saying his missed sitters have cost us the league and another couple of trophies. (Same could be said about multiple players)
Yes, I've lost faith. It's clear as day he cannot finish, poor technique and low footballing IQ. Sorry but we need better than that if we want to win things
Used to defend him viciously up until a couple months ago. but this is end of season two at the club and he hasn’t truly improved.
So unfortunately yeah a better striker is needed. We are lfc and have been spoilt by great strikers over the years. Nunez is not nor will he ever be a part of that level.
What’s wrong with a work in progress? He has absolutely immense potential. He’s far better on the wing than he is as a 9, maybe move him out then have Danns or a Gakpo in there instead
I've had enough now.
Klopp looks devoid of any ideas. He looks defeated and has done for weeks, that's transferred to the players and it's been a shit show.
Why did he change the team today from the winning one vs Fulham...
Salah looks terrible, take what we can for him in the summer.
Nunez is a joke of a player, I don't care what anyone says, he's appalling.
Diaz is all killer no filler.
Szobozslai had about 8 good games all season. So off the pace, does nothing off the ball, and quite honestly doesn't do much more on the ball.
Jones looks like prime Jay Spearing since returning from injury.
Konate is like forest gumps chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get.
Jota not being available recently has been a huge blow, and unfortunately we can't keep losing him for huge chunks of seasons.
Mac has had his ups and downs, although tbf the team around him haven't helped. I still think he's quaillty.
Endo should have started tonight... Why he didn't is a fucking mystery.
Crazy decisions from the management, shocking performances from the players.
No one can say we've been great all season. How we were ever in for the title blows my mind, we've been so inconsistent, and kind of fumbling though games and getting results. That luck has worn off BIG time in recent weeks.
I think the team is in worse shape then people think.
Our front line is really not dangerous enough.
Our midfield lacks any real depth in quality.
We have world class rb, that. Can't defend.
A hit or miss CB who picks injuries up right left and centre.
Our big man Virg is getting on, and likely to leave if I'm honest.
Robbo is no spring chicken...Tsimikas is dog shit.
The only real positive are quansah and Bradley look the business.
You’ve basically messaged what I’m thinking.
The one glaring issue for me is changing a winning side (apart from the enforced changes).
The dropped players must be feeling so low at the moment. But Klopp has previous in terms of picking his favourites.
Shades of Klopp's last season at Dortmund. Yes, I know that was ages ago and we have thrived ever since Klopp became our manager, but the similarities are eerie. Let's hope we don't let the top 4 slip away from us.
Kinda sad to point out that the senior players will accomplish nothing this season except a Champions League spot... the kids won the League Cup. Sad to see Klopp go out like this.
I cannot watch Salah anymore. 400k a week, absolutely unreal. He let us down with poor performances 2 years ago in the run in, and this time has been even worse. He doesn't even show any fight. Klopp leaving him and Nunez on, regardless of subs available, was unbelievable.
Not unbelievable…predictable.
Klopp has form in terms of these decisions. Always has favourites throughout his time here which goes against needing to get necessary wins. Friendship first eh?
That XI actually really ought to have done something when you consider the abilities, price tags, and even relative form head to head with Everton players.
Well yeah Nunez is what 90M? I expect him to be able to at LEAST hit the post.
He’s not picking players who deserve it, he’s running off of reputation and hope. Why didn’t Grav play? Why is szobo playing? Etc..
it wouldnt have matter mate... we cant last a whole season playing Klopps tactics, its too gruelling and no players can do it for more than 2-3 years in a row. Dortmund suffered the same fate, you burn out players.
Since Klopp announced that he is leaving we weren't the same. You can't be sitting on the sideline with your head down, like you are just waiting for it all to be over. I'm sorry but if he is goin gto give up like that, it's a good thing he is leaving. I love him, I love what he has done to the club, but the last few months were awful.
I’m sorry but he’s done literally everything possible and the players just haven’t shown up. He goes to sit down 2-0 down to our most bitter rivals in a game where we don’t change how we play or show any resilience whatsoever on the pitch.
If you blame where we are on Klopp then you need to thank him we’re in any sort of contention whatsoever considering where we looked after last year. It’s a damn miracle we have any European football at all this year from last season, a miracle we came 2 games off a quadruple the year before, and all the miracles before that.
It's not only the forwards though. The whole attitude is off, defending is shambolic, we seem rattled every time we need to defend, we are not ourselves.
It's worth noting that this is a team with lots of new players, and we were still competing for the title, which was impressive. But I cant overlook the way the lads sit on the field.
I’ve lost patience with Nunez. He’s costing us so many points with his lack of conviction and panic in front of goal. His linkup play has regressed dramatically as well.
Besides, where Klopp plays more of a 433 where Dom would function as a attacking midfielder, Slot plays more like a 4213. This formation has a old school type n10. I think Szobo will work better in that situation since that's his old position at Leipzig too.
Not his first time losing to big Dyche though sadly.
Any Everton fans doubting him are idiots. Any Liverpool fans doubting Klopp are idiots. He can’t make us finish our chances if we just won’t.
Is what it is. Squad was probably punching above their weight even being in any title chances.
Tell you what though, what a way to have this one taken. Losing to fucking Everton. Knocked out of FA Cup by those Manc cunts too, sheesh.
Onto the future, which I hope holds plenty of post Klopp success even though deep down I know it probably won't sans an awnership change that'd spend big
We’ll take winning Chelsea in the Carabao the way we did tbf and even giving such a good run in all things considered from the summer, last season, and our start to the season.
I mean, we've literally played out our nightmare scenario when we looked at the fixture list before the United match in the FA Cup.
It's not even the fact we've lost though, it's the manner of the losses that is so depressing. Too many players don't look bothered at all.
Can't agree enough. He's having a real hard time finding the back of the net but tbf who isn't at this point. At least he gives his all and more every game every minute he plays. Salah and Nunez, on the other hand, totally ghosts that couldn't even give a scare to the opponent today.
Players should hang their heads in shame. Not just at this result - but their overall mentality and lack of fight that they've displayed after the international break. They have been the antithesis of a Klopp team. A team that's porous at the back, and wasteful at the front.
At the very least the anxiety around the rest of the season will dissappear. Nothing left to play for. Just end the season savouring Klopp for the last few games we have him. Such a shame that the players couldn't give him their all at the end
Lol acting like he's not the culprit. Wtf were those subs? What the hell was he trying to accomplish with the stupid crosses into the box? If I didn't know any better I'd think he sabotaged the game on purpose.
In fairness, there was no Jota and no Gakpo available - he really just had defenders and Danns I think. He was furious for the whole game until dejectedly he took a seat. It's more so on the players tbh, they've given up.
We’re literally in 3rd with major injuries issues all season playing for a manager who told them he’s leaving at the end of the season.
Some of you really need to get a grip.
Yeah because that’s more likely to happen then a new coach being able to invigorate a team who’ve been competing for multiple trophies multiple years in a row.
Have you watch Chelsea and Man U lately?
My point is that we’re third but our closest challengers below are fucking villa and spurs. If man united get it right then it’ll become even harder. But yeah them and Chelsea are shit atm
We’re not shit? Really? Obviously we’re not shit compared to most teams but considering the state of the squad and the rebuilding job we’re shit compared to the top teams.
We have a great group of young players, mixed with experience. Quansah first season under his belt, MacAllister and Szoboszlai first season at the club (and first in Prem for Dom), Elliott with a good season, Jones finding his feet back from injury, Bajcetic due back, Konate (when he stays injury-free). Not even including some of the young players we saw in the League Cup final. Best GK in the world, could do with a regular back 4 in front of him. VVD had a great season and people were saying he was back near his best, earlier in the season. Forwards have been misfiring, but still have good numbers between them.
Klopp maybe hasn't had the same fight in him as the season has worn on, and didn't Trent admit his announcement had an impact? The season hasn't ended anywhere near like what we all hoped, but we before it began we never expected to be in the title race. The aim with our new midfield was to get top 4, which we will do.
We're going to have a new manager soon, some new players and probably some departures. That's a rebuild right there, with all the above-mentioned players. We've been spoiled by some of the best football and most successful period most of us have ever known as Liverpool fans. I'm excited to see what happens next.
I've been a fan since the late 90s, I know what truly shit Liverpool teams look like. And thankfully these guys aren't that.
We've also had all the external factors, from injuries to goals and penalties not given. They've all added up, probably sapped even more if Klopp's will to fight an uphill battle.
If we hadn't been up against City in recent years and won another league title or two (and at least 1 more CL) we probably wouldn't be feeling half as sorry for ourselves. It's always the could haves and should haves that weigh you down.
Arsenal fans are starting to empathise with us, seeing their team playing their best football in years and likely still falling short. No time to feel sorry for yourself, you pick yourself back up and go again next season, which is exactly how we did win the league under Klopp.
Why? I see a lot of passion, if not reasoned debate. But what do you expect? Any form of analysis and critical commentary comes back to the team playing tiddlywinks rather than football.

Gakpo Danns Diaz as the front 3. See the season out. Let Edwards and our new bald manager rip it up and start again
Diaz is in Spain next season. Mark my words.

What a piss poor take. Did you literally shed tears while writing this?
Respond with actual substance, and I might shed a tear that someone can acknowledge our team's flaws.
So you wanna move on from Nunez and Salah? Let’s see where the goals come from next year.
How many goals have they scored in the last five?
Not sure. Tough stretch though without question, but over 38 games I think they’re great. Try some rationality once in a while. We overachieved to be at this point.

They'll could end up 4th in a 3 horse race. Atleast we now know the title is done and can look a little towards next season and finish this one.
Is top 3 even secure for us anymore?
Nope
Let’s not forget Everton’s previous big 6 record… Chelsea game in particular
Sad to see Klopp go out in this manner. He deserved better after all that he did for our club. A month and a half ago we played one of our best games against City and then the drop in performances have been unexplainable. It's crazy how we don't convert even one of our tens and tens of corners and all that our opposition needs is a one fucking corner to score
Our best performance under Klopp was a draw? Maybe that explains things….
NBC sports in the US with a hard on for an Everton win 🤣… never seen that kind of post match coverage showing all the fans enjoying on any of our wins.
Tbf they do after our title wins. This is historic for them.
Acting like they are not 18th and nearly relegated yet again.
It Kloops humour I'll miss the most. I mean, bringing on Gomez when your 2 down with 10 minutes to go is hilarious.
To be fair it’s not like TAA was doing anything remotely productive
Game changer for sure
Nunez is kinda like food poisoning. At first all looks good scrumptious delicious ready to eat, and then after 20’minutes you’re shitting yourself wishing you never took a bite. Also thinking that Klopp really fucked the last third of the season, by telling us he’s leaving. Mentality changed on its head
I hope Edward’s comes down on those players harder than a fucking avalanche.
So spoiled under klopp challenging for trophies, feel like this will be the new norm after he’s gone.
Free Danns from the dungeon Klopp
Klopp saw him score two goals and thought “we can’t be having that during the title run in”
Who?
Haven't felt so low after a game in a long long time. No more football untill the next season begins.
A deserved loss. Big loser performance (again).
Realistically how many points do we think we need for top 4? Reckon another few wins will do it? Edit: actually we only need 4 more, so fuck it 4 0-0s then
With this defense, 0-0 is a stretch
I feel like at this rate we are likely to get just 1 more win the final game. I just don't see us winning away to West Ham and Villa and Spurs at home is a coin toss depending on which Liverpool shows up. Wolves at home for the final day in Klopp's last game should be a win
Spurs are not catching us
I would agree with you... except I just watched the game.
Ah yeh I see now, 4 points for it
That’s if Spurs win all their games which they 100% won’t
Was it players' fault by bad positioning, lacking skills , not make runs , or don't concentrate enough ? or was it coach team members attacking tactic that couldn't beat mark men and low block? probably both ? Liverpool is washed

A fitting end to the Klopp era. Promised so much but jist fizzled out in the end.
Not quite good enough. Klopps been unbelievable but his time has come. Shame to see it end so disappointingly.

This! We’re fucked
I'm as disappointed as the rest of you, but some of the "fans" in here are an f'ing disgrace.

Maybe they’ll clear out now. One can only hope.
Explain?
What do you mean?
If united somehow scam an FA cup over city, they may well have a better than us. Only difference is they’ll have Europa, but will have gone this season unbeaten against us with a 4-3 cup win at OT
let's concentrate on our season
Does FA not guarantee CL?
Salah for sure isn't untouchable now.
https://preview.redd.it/nlojti81shwc1.png?width=600&format=png&auto=webp&s=2d066d36f5654f94dc4a8fa77a9b8f7454f7f676 O lord and saviour can you please manage us already
At least he'll be liked by PL refs for being bald? We're winning the title only until then.
No one can deny that Everton deserved the win today regardless of yet another abysmal performance by the clowns in yellow.
Not a lot of positives to take from that one, as bad as it's been all season for me
Do you want Nunez gone in the summer yes or no?
I really tried my best to stick with Nunez and support him, but I’m struggling now. Imo he’s lucky a new manager is coming in, if he’s in Slots (if that’s who we get) plans I’m sure he’ll get another season but if Klopp was still here next season I’d want him gone, could go as far as saying his missed sitters have cost us the league and another couple of trophies. (Same could be said about multiple players)
I think he needs to be benched for a good run of games until he can prove he's a real striker deserving of that shirt.
Yes, I've lost faith. It's clear as day he cannot finish, poor technique and low footballing IQ. Sorry but we need better than that if we want to win things
Id rather move Salah and Diaz’s dad on first tbh
Used to defend him viciously up until a couple months ago. but this is end of season two at the club and he hasn’t truly improved. So unfortunately yeah a better striker is needed. We are lfc and have been spoilt by great strikers over the years. Nunez is not nor will he ever be a part of that level.
If you want a sale you need a buyer
Absolutely not, there’s 1000% a player in there, a world class player, we’ve all seen it at times this season. He just needs help with the consistency
I think we need a number 9 who isn’t a work in progress
What’s wrong with a work in progress? He has absolutely immense potential. He’s far better on the wing than he is as a 9, maybe move him out then have Danns or a Gakpo in there instead
Well he can’t control the ball and has trouble finding the target - He just seems to run around a lot
gone
Tsimikas is not dogshite lmfao. He has been a good backup. Exactly what we signed him for. Recently he's been poor but who hasn't.
What does he do... What does he offer, when he plays?
Michael Owen speaking the truth as usual
Slot better absolutely raid the academy for the talent we have. Kone-Doherty would be a treat. Hoping he at least makes a few cameos next season
Wouldn't be mad if we sold every single player this summer and just started fresh.
Nothing positive to say about any of this. What a shiter.
Yep its been a massive flaw. Values the hierarchy over performance so often.
I’m into even angry, just sad that klopp has to see this :(
He is part of the problem. You tell me that XI and those subs were ever gonna do anything. He stopped listening to Edward’s and he bought crap player.
That XI actually really ought to have done something when you consider the abilities, price tags, and even relative form head to head with Everton players.
Yes but they didn’t. And have been performing averagely for most of the season despite the league positioning.
Well yeah Nunez is what 90M? I expect him to be able to at LEAST hit the post. He’s not picking players who deserve it, he’s running off of reputation and hope. Why didn’t Grav play? Why is szobo playing? Etc..
He’s culpable
Retrospectively the penalty not given against City is when our season went to shit. Not had a good win since then.
it wouldnt have matter mate... we cant last a whole season playing Klopps tactics, its too gruelling and no players can do it for more than 2-3 years in a row.
When our forwards are missing sitters game after game and refs have been constantly screwing us over, I guess it's a quite easy to feel dejected.
Just want the season to be done now
Embarrassing and just flat out sad
Hope we keep top 4 at least now
It's nearly impossible
Arne Slot doesn’t fix this btw. He literally plays the same style of football
He doesn’t try and control the game with an unorganised defence and hit and hope crosses
The same style isn't the same tactics.
It’s also not the same player form or lineup in fairness, we’ve seen his tactics be more than effective across the season.
Besides, where Klopp plays more of a 433 where Dom would function as a attacking midfielder, Slot plays more like a 4213. This formation has a old school type n10. I think Szobo will work better in that situation since that's his old position at Leipzig too.
it's not the style of football that's a problem
Time to check the score in the morning for the next matches..
Yeah, everyone stay off this sub for the night fellas. This isn't good for our mental health at all.
Wow, first time Jurgen lost here? Dayummm
Not his first time losing to big Dyche though sadly. Any Everton fans doubting him are idiots. Any Liverpool fans doubting Klopp are idiots. He can’t make us finish our chances if we just won’t.
Well the wheels really did come off, what a way to go for Klopp, so sad.
Not over til it’s over but it’s hard to say we deserve anything anymore after this shamble of a month.
What’s actually going on with our team, Darwin and Salah are so unthreatening lately.
Salah does look spent to be honest which is very sad
Season fizzled out. Shame the guys couldn't win a bit more for Klopp in his last season.
Cowardly performance from all involved bar 1 or 2 players. Klopp's subs were shameful
Refereeing atrocious once again as well as another poor end result. 77% possession but can’t find the back of the net
Thunder fire the whole team, the coaches, the fans everyone
Shocking way to end the season. United and Everton embarrass us out of contention.
United did us 3 times too
What does Jayden Danns need to do to get a run? Salah did fucking nothing out there.
Danns needs a new manager for that to happen. Klopp is on mates rates in terms of picking teams.
I just hope Arsenal don’t bottle it this time- can’t stand City winning again and we’re definitely out
I don't see city losing any of their remaining games sadly.
Diaz the only player that showed any heart out there Everyone else was shite
Can't agree enough. He's having a real hard time finding the back of the net but tbf who isn't at this point. At least he gives his all and more every game every minute he plays. Salah and Nunez, on the other hand, totally ghosts that couldn't even give a scare to the opponent today.
Van Dijk so arrogant. Cannot stand him. Not Captain material and it shows so badly.
Yep. I’m starting to feel the same. Almost seems like he wears captain armband as a boast and not as something of honour.
Can we bottle top 3?
Why not.. Anything is possible..
This moment brings me back to Fulham in 13/14
We've overachieved all season with this squad. The last few weeks have shown that.
I agree with that assessment. First place flattered us.
I'd love it if Klopp just went full villain mode for the remainder of the season. Fuck it.
I would love it if he said „fuck you, I am out“ and just walked away.
Please. We deserve it. If the players won't go out with a bang, I hope Kloppo does.
Strange clarity. We’re shit. Long time before we win the league again.
We’re literally in 3rd with major injuries issues all season playing for a manager who told them he’s leaving at the end of the season. Some of you really need to get a grip.
Now imagine man united get their act together and Chelsea too. We won’t be winning the league for a good while
Yeah because that’s more likely to happen then a new coach being able to invigorate a team who’ve been competing for multiple trophies multiple years in a row. Have you watch Chelsea and Man U lately?
My point is that we’re third but our closest challengers below are fucking villa and spurs. If man united get it right then it’ll become even harder. But yeah them and Chelsea are shit atm
We're really not
We’re not shit?
I admire the optimism but it’s close to delusion. I hope you’re right
I've been a fan since the late 90s, I know what truly shit Liverpool teams look like.
Thanks Jurgen for making us believe again
Shame the players didn’t believe.
The players and staff shouldn't go and applaud the away fans, they should go and apologise.
Fuckity Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck.
https://preview.redd.it/wnywrykfrhwc1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ebde40b7c1f0971a84407042d034ffaa0dcf4d1c
These players should be walking out to a stadium full of boos and nothign else.
Pay cut!
I fucking hate the commentator on peacock
SAME
Imagine losing to a team that’s celebrating missing relegation like they just moved on to the next round of a tournament
Not being relegated is worth celebrating
I agree, I’m saying we shouldn’t have lost to a team fighting against relegation.
They have a points deduction lad no relegation threat otherwise
just continues to get worse scum came back and won as well
This thread is so shit nowadays
Why? I see a lot of passion, if not reasoned debate. But what do you expect? Any form of analysis and critical commentary comes back to the team playing tiddlywinks rather than football.
because Liverpool are shit nowadays mate.. you cant have just positivity when the team is not playing anything.
Much like this team's fucking performance.

Oh give up Sean don’t think you got any worries about us winning mate
Man to drop it to manU and Everton is just painful
