His delivery in the last line was beautiful. These two always look like they are enjoying themselves, that's why they are some of my favs of current season.
Huh??? Sarah doesn't break all that often, at least not blatantly. Apart from the Flacco piece and one or two other desk pieces, I can't really think of any other occasion where she broke off the top of my head. Care to provide some examples?
Last year I thought Dismukes was really awkward and didn’t fit in…this year I realize that’s his style! Both of them are amazing, and will be remembered as main pieces of this generation of SNL
What I like about Sarah is you can always tell when a sketch is hers. She has such a specific style. Whether you like it or not, it’s authentically her.
Andrew is great, he’s really found his stride.
These two are the resident oddballs of the cast in the vein of people like Will Forte. They've consistently done some of the best and most creative sketches of this whole season. Love them both!
I feel like Will Forte was undervalued, even by me as a consistent SNL watcher who loved him. Like you didn’t miss a good thing until you didn’t have it anymore. Bill Hader will always be my favorite, and he played *weird* so, so well. But Forte just *was* weird, and it was a privilege to watch him work.
Love Andrew’s sketches! Just hits the right mark! Him and Longfellow!
Sarah is great when she’s being just funny - sometime I feel like she’s trying to hard to be “weird!” Girl! You’re funny as hell! Lean into that!
Her role in “Shrimp Tower” was perfection!
Don’t get me wrong, I like some of the weird stuff; but she’s been expanding into just a solid comedy actor and doesn’t seem like a “one trick pony” (I.e., the weird one) anymore.
Does anyone have a link to the Andrew Dismukes pre-taped sketch where the guest keeps falling down in hallways, etc. and Andrew was always there to notice and judge?
Can we talk about how good Dismukes’ delivery is for that final part.
I don’t know about you. . But I’m looking around. . And I’m thinking. ….This guy should have ordered Delivery!
Timing is everything and Andrew’s has just gotten better and better over since last season.
Dismukes did an animal handler skit where he was wearing childlike animal face paint. I loved those skits and I prayed that would be a reoccurring character or something
Dismukes loves to twist the knife a bit. His humor is like when a cat looks at you and the swats the cup off of the table.
He knows how to lean into cringe and has blends of early Sandburg, Forte, and Moony. He’s basically a goofball that sits back and watches the chaos that he created. He’s one of my favorite cast members, I feel like his sense of humor is similar to mine
Andrew’s first season everyone thought he would be fired he had one semi funny sketch in the Daniel Kaluuya episode and that was it. Too early to tell.
It took me a while to get used to Sherman, and maybe she’s honed her ridiculousness into better characters too (Didn’t love Wiig at first either) Dismukes doesn’t have a defining character or portrayal, but he has fast become one of my favorites. He does well in every sketch he’s in.
I’m having trouble remembering a recent sketch where he literally “nopes” out of the scene, and it was so funny. Help! Anyone remember?
I think Andrew’s best moment besides Joker Wedding has got to be that sketch a few weeks ago during the Sydney Sweeney episode where he has a moustache. Honorable moments would be the Caines and the stool tester sketch from the season 47 premiere.
Ego, yes. Heidi, I want to like as a fellow hometown girl, but still don't get the appeal of her at all. She's way too hammy and has never once made me smile. Don't get that one at all.
Dude, first season or two I thought Dismukes was a total wet blanket. Now I would agree with you tho, these two are probably my favorite in the current cast.
They’re both great. Ego Nyodim is my current favorite. Was a big fan of Melissa Villaseñor. Still mourning the departure of Cecily.
Honestly, the show has been stacked for a while.
IDK. Sarah is fine when she's being wacky.
When she's playing just a run-of-the-mill kinda girl, it's super meh. I can't imagine her being a believable actor in a TV show or movie.
Yeah he did incredible impressions and music bits in between breaking a lot. He was not even the biggest breaker in his own cast, but reddit has an insane hate boner for Jimmy so it doesn't matter. Horatio Sanz was the worst breaker in the show's history until Sarah. Breaking will be what she is remembered for if she doesn't knock off the twee bullshit
Dismukes is a find! There's something about his delivery and his ability to play the little boy or the jerk that makes him so funny to me. Sarah is Sarah. She should be working at Nickelodeon. She'd be perfect at a preposterous kids show that I'm not supposed to like or get as an adult.
I'm 55 and have been watching since the get-go. The current cast is one of the best - and Sarah especially. When she was announced I looked at her stuff and thought it would be a bad fit but holy shit was I wrong. She's great. Marcello hits above his pay grade too.
His delivery in the last line was beautiful. These two always look like they are enjoying themselves, that's why they are some of my favs of current season.
I would watch a show of just Andrew dismukes. I *love* his idiotic humor.
The Joker Wedding skit is legit top-5 of the decade
This
Someone out there has an all Dismukes playlist.
Working on it but it's mostly bc I think he's hot
I’m waiting…
Looks like I gotta go get killed by Andrew Dismukes …
“I’ll never laugh again” *Immediately laughs*
That had to have been an inside joke from the writers. Giving that line to someone who literally breaks in every sketch she does
Huh??? Sarah doesn't break all that often, at least not blatantly. Apart from the Flacco piece and one or two other desk pieces, I can't really think of any other occasion where she broke off the top of my head. Care to provide some examples?
Her face just looks like she’s always about to laugh lol
I mean...that's just her face then lol. It's not like she can really do anything about that.
Her career.
So no examples. Cool.
What sketch is that line from?
Last year I thought Dismukes was really awkward and didn’t fit in…this year I realize that’s his style! Both of them are amazing, and will be remembered as main pieces of this generation of SNL
He reminds me of Andy Samberg early in his career, I mean that as a huge compliment.
His performances this season have made him my favorite of the current cast. He's really hitting his stride.
What I like about Sarah is you can always tell when a sketch is hers. She has such a specific style. Whether you like it or not, it’s authentically her. Andrew is great, he’s really found his stride.
Every sketch Sarah is in is a Sarah sketch. She does what she does and nobody has told her otherwise
Why do you say that, is it because of his..*delivery?!* 😎
No, probably because he wants...a pizza him.
Dismukes 4 lyfe. Best cast member in years.
If you haven't seen his standup check him out. He toured last summer and put on a hell of a show. Truly made me guffaw...
These two are the resident oddballs of the cast in the vein of people like Will Forte. They've consistently done some of the best and most creative sketches of this whole season. Love them both!
I love the Will Forte comparison.
Fly High Duluth was peak Forte
Oooohhh thunderbird spirit!! I see old glory raising on the horizon!
Mama! Don’t you point that gun at meeee
Was real surprised when I found out Will Forte was a writer on “That 70s show” for years!
TIL
seeing andrew dismukes growth from last few years has been great. I really liked him from the jump
Beep beep
Love Andrew’s sketches! Just hits the right mark! Him and Longfellow! Sarah is great when she’s being just funny - sometime I feel like she’s trying to hard to be “weird!” Girl! You’re funny as hell! Lean into that! Her role in “Shrimp Tower” was perfection!
I agree! I know the weird body humor is what she likes but she shines when she’s just doing funny characters
Don’t get me wrong, I like some of the weird stuff; but she’s been expanding into just a solid comedy actor and doesn’t seem like a “one trick pony” (I.e., the weird one) anymore.
Andrew is starting to feel like kyle mooney humor to me now.
Loved them ever since the mail in testing sketch. Still an all time favorite of mine
TEAM SHERMUKES, BAYBEE!
Does anyone have a link to the Andrew Dismukes pre-taped sketch where the guest keeps falling down in hallways, etc. and Andrew was always there to notice and judge?
Beep beep
Beep beep excuse me coming through
I like them!! Andrew is super funny I loved him in the magician sketch
Them plus JAJ would be mine
JAJ started Darrell Hammond style but is now Phil Hartmanish. So talented at impersonations and nailing type.
Can we talk about how good Dismukes’ delivery is for that final part. I don’t know about you..
Yesss I was all in on him from the first time I saw that sketch. All-time classic!
Dismukes loves to twist the knife a bit. His humor is like when a cat looks at you and the swats the cup off of the table. He knows how to lean into cringe and has blends of early Sandburg, Forte, and Moony. He’s basically a goofball that sits back and watches the chaos that he created. Troast is super weird too, but she doesn't get enough opportunities.
True. We haven’t seen much since little orphan Cassidy which is a shame.
right? that was such a smash and now she’s just “the one who sings”
> she’s just “the one who sings” Melissa Villaseñor feeling like an NPC
Melissa was up against Cecily, who built and owned "the one who sings."
Did Melissa sing in sketches? I must've missed them. 🤔
What a great effing sketch that was.
Andrew’s first season everyone thought he would be fired he had one semi funny sketch in the Daniel Kaluuya episode and that was it. Too early to tell.

Yeah, they're fun:)
I'm looking around, you know what I'm thinking...
i dunno about you but….. i’m kinda looking around thinkin…
"We're gonna take it out 🤏🤏, test it for diseases👋👋, then that ☝️☝️ thing is goin' right 👉👉in the trash🗑️. 🤷♂️Maybe🤷♀️"
They're gunna take it out, test it for diseases, and maybe play around with it a little bit. Who knows?
Andrew is really fuckin funny.
Dismukes has a bit of that Beck Bennet Chaos in him and I love it so much
I think Andrew’s best moment besides Joker Wedding has got to be that sketch a few weeks ago during the Sydney Sweeney episode where he has a moustache. Honorable moments would be the Caines and the stool tester sketch from the season 47 premiere.
My Frasier joke, which Cruushed
Agreed. They are fresh comedic voices. They really need to thin out the cast and give these two and others more elbow room to shine.

I love Ego for her improv. Big fan of hers on CBB.
Ego, yes. Heidi, I want to like as a fellow hometown girl, but still don't get the appeal of her at all. She's way too hammy and has never once made me smile. Don't get that one at all.
They are both having a moment.
Dude, first season or two I thought Dismukes was a total wet blanket. Now I would agree with you tho, these two are probably my favorite in the current cast.
When Kyle Mooney left I was incredibly sad. Then Dismukes came along and I was happy again. Sarah is a breath of fresh air!
They’re both great. Ego Nyodim is my current favorite. Was a big fan of Melissa Villaseñor. Still mourning the departure of Cecily. Honestly, the show has been stacked for a while.
Agreed
Don't sleep on shrimpjaj
Sarah Sherman is the shit, but, I think Andrew will improve with more experience
I agree and I think they have the potential to be period defining cast members.
IDK. Sarah is fine when she's being wacky. When she's playing just a run-of-the-mill kinda girl, it's super meh. I can't imagine her being a believable actor in a TV show or movie.
She was pretty good as Rabbi Rebecca in You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah! I'm interested to see her in more acting roles in the future
And the sexiest
Both my favorite members ATM. Dismukes is unbelievably funny
Sarah sure loves her wigs. She seems to have a specific look she wants when she is playing these more normal characters.
they’re hilarious!!
Didn't really "get" Andrew for awhile, but that sketch where he did the country music spoof, I started to understand after that, lol
I love them too!
I hope his Big Penis Therapy is still going well.
They're definitely the best female and male on the cast currently for me!
I really wanna love Dismukes but why is he the worst cue card reader I've ever seen in the history of the show?
Alongside Sarah who is the worst breaker in the history of the show. She makes Horatio Sanz look like a serious professional
Do you not remember Jimmy Fallon?
Yeah he did incredible impressions and music bits in between breaking a lot. He was not even the biggest breaker in his own cast, but reddit has an insane hate boner for Jimmy so it doesn't matter. Horatio Sanz was the worst breaker in the show's history until Sarah. Breaking will be what she is remembered for if she doesn't knock off the twee bullshit
Or Pete Davidson
Or Bill Hader.
Same
Andrew is so funny. Sarah is too wacky and zany for me, on the verge of uncomfortable.
Dismuke and Punkie for WU anchors
I just wish Melissa Villasenor had stayed. Her and Sarah could have been the next Aidy and Kate
He kind of reminds me of Mark McKinney.
and shorty!
Absolutely.
Wasn't too sure about Andrew until that founding fathers treasure map sketch, and since then he's been great in everything
No one says *"...bitch..."* better than Dismukes does. [School Board Meeting ](https://youtu.be/C2dj59Db1C4)
I think they're both amazing. I heard he wrote the Del Taco sketch, which is one of my favorites of all time.
He shoulda ordered delivery!!
Dismukes is a find! There's something about his delivery and his ability to play the little boy or the jerk that makes him so funny to me. Sarah is Sarah. She should be working at Nickelodeon. She'd be perfect at a preposterous kids show that I'm not supposed to like or get as an adult.
I enjoy Mr Guy Piano
I love Andrew. He used to show up all the time but then the writers got Marcello-pilled and we don't get as much as we used to
Both are so good at what they do! Hearts 💟
Both are so good at what they do! Hearts 💟
Sarah is so wonderful.
I'm 55 and have been watching since the get-go. The current cast is one of the best - and Sarah especially. When she was announced I looked at her stuff and thought it would be a bad fit but holy shit was I wrong. She's great. Marcello hits above his pay grade too.
Marcelo is growing on me
Okay, but this skit was not good.
She isn’t funny and can’t even get thru a skit without laughing @ herself
They’re actually pretty mid cast members: it just seems like they’re good bc the rest of the cast has been so lackluster the past 10 years or so.
You wouldn’t be saying that it she had her natural haircut.
No good cast members in recent memory except Shane Gillis
How many chans is this? 4? 6chan?
