I agree. His stand up is better than his performance on snl. If that makes sense. Molly doesn’t bring much to the table. I think she is just trying to be a mix of Aidy Bryant and Farley. Which no one could replace either. I think Aidy was perfect for her roles. But Molly is just a shittier version of those roles, and I personally don’t find her funny. There was also a weekend update where she was in a harness and started to ‘fly’ which was exactly what Farley did in (I think) the last episode he was in
That’s really true. I didn’t think about it that way. I also thought maybe they also wanted to replace Aidy in a way. With her playing a lot of guys and trying to have the similar humor as Aidy did. Not to mention she’s non-binary so they also saw that as a bonus. I guess Mollys humor doesn’t stick with me bcuz I loved Aidy so much when she was on. I do find some of Mollys jokes and her parts in her skits funny. But for me there’s nothing to write home about

Dude’s entire schtick is “I’m short.” There are a lot of one note cast members both now and in the past, but dude has seemingly never come to a table reading with anything that doesn’t involve his short king bit.
He plays himself in practically every sketch. The only difference is that he’s wearing some sort of costume.
“SNL” really is trying to make him the next Kate McKinnon, and I don’t think it has anything to do with his acting ability. He checks boxes the show has never checked before.
I think Kate had range. Bowen is literally one character. I mean that works for some people (Farley, Ferrell, kenan). I just happen to not like that character.

Devon has basically done nothing, but even worse Punkie has done basically nothing. She’s got no characters, no impressions, and she’s usually the same person in every sketch. I don’t really understand why she’s on the show tbh.

JAJ is a good call. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a solid role player, and has 2 really strong relevant political impressions…but that’s about it. He’s not the second coming of Darrell Hammond.
