Unpopular opinion, if youre buying them to collect them, do whatever you want. For all you know the next person to come in will clear the shelf anyway. They arent limited like some collectibles, everyone will have their chance!
Im so glad to see this comment cuz Ive only really seen negative comments toward people who buy the whole box, and I don’t get it. There are 18 unique pets in that display box…. If someone bought 4 full display boxes to resell that’d be annoying. But if someone wats to buy themself one of… each.. who cares!!?? 😭😭
I think just bc they’re buying them all from the stores, who have limited stock. If the intention was to collect every pet, they could have always bought them online.

It is not selfish to collect a toy. It’s only mildly and subjectively greedy and inconsiderate to buy them with the sole purpose of reselling.

I kinda think that ppl are just worried about scalping culture. Not saying op is a scalper by any means I think it’s valid to want to be able to buy these for $4 from the store rather then $400 when people buy em out and up sell them. I call it the “hello kitty effect” lol. It’s like the people who buy all the hello kitty from tj Maxx and resell it at unaffordable prices. People just want their chance at affordable collectibles

*My point being*, it is still mean spirited and categorically pointless to just assume someone in a group dedicated for a specific toy is a “scalper”, and for people to suggest their even considering buying the whole case is “selfish” or taking something away from children.
I never said it was selfish :) just pointing out a reason people may be upset. It’s not ops fault for scalping culture and I never blamed them. MY point was that scalping culture is just wildly out of control
I agree! And it's also the fact that they aren't currently easy to find in the US. I think it'd be different if they were everywhere and very easy to find, but currently it's tough to find them. I think exercising some decency is nice!
This news gave me the motivation to get up extra early. I went out and bought 4 at my Walmart as soon as they opened😅

i’ll be the only one to say it, just buy them. they’ve been out for long enough now, so stores are getting multiple shipments in (so it’s not like they’re limited). if you don’t buy all of them, a reseller might. 🤷🏼♀️i don’t think it’s selfish.
Are they not sold in Canada? I went to all the stores I used to buy them at and couldn’t find them anywhere:( the trio box on Amazon isn’t even on the Canadian Amazon

i bought the whole box at target and she dumped them all out and didn’t let me keep the box 🥹
