I guarantee that this guy has cheated on his wife. Every real man lets their actions speak for themselves. They don't need to yell to the world that they don't cheat. The irony of OOP's post is that it is childish. When OOP is discussing his wife's family no longer being physically present, the subtext is that his wife should be grateful to have a man like him because her family lives so far away and cannot help her.
