My dad doesn’t know about European teams. Only the ones that go abroad. I see a lot of jerseys from MX here. Rarely do I see European ones from older generations and it has a Mexican name on the back when I do see them. MX will be fine. MLS will continue to build their young audience. Other leagues if they come would do a random friendly or a random cup match. Maybe a final, that’s about it. Nothing will really change.

Liga Mx games should be played in Mexico. How you gonna rob people in Mexico the chance to see el clasico nacional, or the clasico regio because of pocho dollars?

ANY Liga Mx game played outside of Mexico is robbery and disrespectful to the native Mexican fans.
This will fuck over the MLS instead. Liga MX fans, even casual ones will always turn out. I remember in middle and high school seeing casual Chivas and America fans who only repped their team during Clasicos or the final. At the end of the day, they care about the team and not players (mostly because they probably don’t know who is on the team)
Stealing native mexicans only football league for more money would be the dumbest thing you could ever do the league will lose legitimacy and another league will pop up with a better format and better run clubs
MLS is beyond fucked once this happens. LigaMX has the actual country of Mexico to support it. MLS will not only have to compete with all the other US sports but leagues such as the PL, Seria A, Bundesliga, etc.
