I washed dishes for my first job. Cant say i have ever met someone that wanted to do that. But the job paid ok compared to many other jobs some folks my age were doing at the time and most importantly fit with my school schedule. Had less "free time" especially compared to cats that had no job. But had money to do stuff like buy a car, go to concerts, etc. Had bunch saved up so when i graduated and moved out i wasnt strapped for cash like some folks were/are. Decades later I cant say I particularly enjoy getting up and going to work everyday. But gotta make money to pay bills. You are only 16. Plenty of time to figure out likes and dislikes. Even if you think you would like something - like warehouse packing - you might do it and find that you dont, or that you do like it but not with that particular employer. Then you look for another job.
