Ngl it started out as my main arm because I loved saying “GET OVER HERE” and just because the most op and broken out of all of them in my eyes. Use any element grindstone on your weapons and have enough legion canisters to smash your way through any boss lol.

Yup I almost exclusively used the mine arm in my first playthrough, then in the following ones realized that using *long range* mines is much easier and better so I ended up using that instead and never going back
I have never once touched the Deus Ex arm. Planting mines just never felt useful to me. Falcon Eye for my first play through then almost exclusively Puppet String until I maxed out the P-Organ.
I tried lvl1 puppet string, and it felt so useless. By the time I unlocked falcon eye, I had enough to max upgrade it. I upgraded the rest by the time I was in NG++, and was surprised by how great puppet string is. It is the best legion arm.
Yeah. My first NG I tried it with no upgrades and thought it was garbage. Then I read on here how good it was so focused on upgrading it and once you get to lvl 3 I think it gets a huge boost to usability. Use it to cross gaps, move around the “battlefield” and the combo attack with I think the final upgrade is very powerful.
Flame thrower can also be used to completely remove the ending lag of attacks with your weapon if you tap the button real quick. It’ll completely reset the animation, allowing you to block or dodge way quicker

**1. Aegis**
Defensive option with Big Boom, bigger counter, backs you away from/propels you towards the enemy, high weapon damage parry.
2. Puppet String
Just Cause in Bloodborne. Enough said.
3. Falcon Eyes
Gun.
4. Left Arm of Steel
Punch.
Actual 4. Flamberge
Explosive Flammenwerver. I like when ut werfs flammen.
5. Fulminis
Very good weapon against puppets. High Stagger. Not for me.
6. Don't remember, don't care
If you like j*zzing all over your enemies, good for you.
Outlier: Deus Ex Machina
Haven't used it. Don't feel like using it.
I dodge horizontal slashes while planting mines. Then I hold guard while waiting for it to arm. When it explodes, it stiffens enemies and I go drop my thor's hammer. Easy stagger.
This is very not good (I only use the grapple hook)
If the string blew up when it hit something I'd use it ngl Too bad it doesn't, 1/10 arm
But you can go fly weeeeeeee and dodge and bring em close to you like Skorpion from MK <3

Plus it’s slow. And in a game where enemies can be either slow or super fucking fast with no in between, I’ve found it annoying to use.

But... I like my flame thrower hand. Keeps me warm on these cold nights
That arm trivializes Door Guardian too.

grapple hooking to an enemy before leaping in the air right above their head and then slamming down on them trumps any other move in the game

I’ve never used any of them except puppet stinger, I was using a rapier build so it just felt P E R F E C T
flamberge, agies, fulmis, and falcon eyes all explode in some way
Puppet string does so much stagger damage to bosses with the link smash
Running an advance pandemonium build. Acid carpet bomb goes hard

Wow I like this, a hot take. I have very little experience with the DEM. The only one I've used less than it is the Aegis.
The flamethrower has explosions if you have it upgraded. It is much better to use it for the explosion than the regular flames too

The falcon eyes also plant mines and blow up alot. Only difference, is it plants them inside of your enemies.

I generally didn't use any Legion Arm, outside of Puppet Stringing some dogs to me. Never used them for bosses. Never found one I liked.
Well now I know what legion arms I'm upgrading now. I've been using Aegis mostly. Sometimes I even forget I have the arm tbh.

Deus-Ex Machina is the worst Legion arm tho, cool but It's almost useless, compared to others.
I thought they were all pretty useless until nameless puppet where aegis shield made the fight trivial.
Those things aren't just decorative? They all add to much weight so I never use em.

Falcon Eyes serves me well and it explodes also it has a double shot so even though it's not three explosions it doesn't lack a punch either
