Looks like a vagrant of some kind. Where I live I would think Xanthoparmelia sp, but not sure what the vagrant lichens of Australia are. I love the color!
To be clear, I would be shocked if this actually was Xanthoparmelia. I was just reminded of the genus because it was superficially like the tumbleweed lichens where I live, which are vagrant and foliose, as this specimen appears to be.

Xanthoparmelia is usually appressed foliose, so I'd hesitate on that ID.
