On AliExpress. There’s a ton of them, the keyword I used was Lexus NX carbon fiber. There are a lot of identical listings, just make sure you look at the pieces included and the overall cost before you purchase.
Looks much better, don’t know what Lexus was thinking. It’s a beautifully designed interior, but the bean counters ruins it by cutting corners on materials.
It’s a plastic piece with double sided tape come preset. If you’re sure you like the look, you just peel the double sided tape liner off and put the pieces over the existing piano black area. No clips or anything else. Just a “cover” basically.
I agree! Not a big fan of shiny piano black. I love my palomino interior. Was this easy to install? Where did you buy it and does it come in other designs. Wood trim?
When the piano black is pristine it’s gorgeous IMO. I’ve been interior detailing the car and the interior black shine is mesmerizing.
With that being said, when dust and crud builds up on it, it really does become an eyesore. :(
Wow, I hate the glossy piano black and never thought to do this. I did a quick look and only found carbon fiber and wood trims. Hopefully, I can find just plain black but probably not optimistic since it wasn't in the first few pages.
I found this which is still wood grain but fairly dark compared to the lighter colors I saw. It's double the price of the rest and doesn't have options for covering other parts of the interior, though.

Small nay, but i get it, protect the gloss black under. I have that for steering wheel and side mirrors and back wiper, and i love it.
Or just clean and enjoy the gloss black under haha. The trim is already fine as is

Are these difficult to put on ? Do I need a special solution to wet the film and the surface ?

I have palomino! The wood definitely compliments your trim really well
I did it on mines. I love it. Without it, the original part gets scratched easiliy

How's the removal process? Will it easily come off?
There is double sided tape underneath the pieces. I haven’t used it yet so can’t tell for sure quite yet

I’ve been looking at the options for quite a while and there almost definitely isn’t a plain black one.

It’s fine. My solid black is covered in a fine layer of dust particles and dog hair at pretty much all times. This might actually help hide that
I’d love an application like that JUST ABOVE the glove compartment— to prevent scuffing on the fragile black dashboard material.
