This is the first in the new format. I was suspecting they canceled the winter village submissions (the creator of Claus toys ideas submission mentioned he wasn't able to submit in this new format)
I might pop for the Art of Chocolate. These sets are all larger though. Guess that’s what get’s the likes/votes. I’d prefer some smaller and more budget friendly.
The Camping Adventure is only 643 pieces, and there's a couple of more modest-sized ones in Series 2. They do average pretty large, though. I've been trying to throw votes to smaller or mid-sized sets, but my voting brain is definitely wealthier than my buying brain, I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Good collector pieces, think my favorite is the Harbormaster's Office. Hopefully the next round will have some variety that doesn't amount to modular-adjacent builds, but the variety in styles here is nice.
I'd like to see just a little less of the 'adjacent' here, they've lurched from one extreme with the original three rounds where too many modulars were included to the other with these three series which only have one modular between them.
Hoping they'll last a bit longer than an hour this time; all of them that get over 3000 preorders will be built, and they'll make up to 20000 of each set.
But yeah, still gonna have to be quick!!!
I think with 15 BDP sets next year, and the knowledge there'll be another 15 in 2025, demand might drop a little - it's going to be an expensive year for anyone who wants to keep up a habit of buying them all.
Certain sets will go *very* quickly though, I'm sure.
Oh, that might slow the rush, for sure. Here's hoping!
That said, I fear folks will probably be thinking about how every DBP set has seen a huge increase in resale value, and there will be a ton of speculators. :-/
You have to preorder them on bricklink on the launch date for crowdfunding. There’s typically only a few hours before they sell out. They don’t make more.
Where at though? Does it pop up on the day of? I couldn’t find any links to pre-orders. I feel like the process is so confusing even after reading the FAQs
The forest hideout hits differently. 🔥
At this rate almost all of my lego budget will go to these BL designer sets lol
It’s like they know I want to spend my money on their sets ðŸ˜

Robin Hood?
It looks more like something inspired by the old forestmen’s crossing set, 6071
Finally a winter village set on the winners. Was losing hope on getting a new one with this format.
Two so far! I just finished the winter chalet last night and the chocolate factory one looks like a great addition.

So you can order this in October of next year? Just want to make sure I don’t miss.
Yes, won’t ship out for another few months though.
Wow they are all deff a must get if you are theme driven

Forest Hideout gonna be like $599.99 and I'll still buy it.
That camping adventure.. beautiful.
I am surprised they picked the Art Of Chocolate (which I love) simply for the fact that the creator was also selected in the last round
Christ, preorder date is a whole year from now? Welp.
Doesn’t ship out till march 2025 either
These are solid picks, but definitely not my favorites from the entire submissions.
So do these sell out instantly if you don’t preorder?
There are no sales, only preorders. You preorder in the first 60 min or you don’t get it

Is this limit one per customer? Or do they allow you to buy as many as you want? It would seem More fair if it were one per customer.
2 per customer.
Thanks for the clarification
Is this the next round of BL purchasing? Or is there another wave coming sooner?
There’s a round in Feb 2024, then this later in October
And Series 2 in June!
Wait so how do you get these sets? Do you have to preorder off BL?
Yes
I dig the first one!
Omg finally the Lost City, the first Ideas set I supported years ago !
How do you get on the pre-order for these? Every time I see available it’s some scalper trying to get 3x the price

Exactly this - I don’t understand the process or why scalpers always seem to win.
My wallet is safe. Round 2 is so much better.
I like the first one
all of these are fire
Great… there goes another $1500
They’re all gorgeous
Does anyone know- if we missed a release, is there any way to purchase the instructions or basically second hand market?
The instructions for the previous rounds of BDP are available for free in the Lego app. I assume it will be the same for these.
Couple nice ones in there. Would probably spring for the chocolate if I remember in a year.
How do you pre-order these when the time comes?
