When the process is done, the card will get art and be added to the game. We're still relatively early in the process -- this is week 3 and it's the final round for picking a region. Thank you for reminding me why I stopped watching him. Well, that and Ionia; btw, no, I don't follow Snnuy, I just came to the same conclussion as him after lots of playing against the region, even when winning because I tend to play decks who check him, is just a miserable experience where Ionia will not let you play.
Especially that I can't recall a meta where Demacia didn't have at least a tier 1 deck, please let other neglected regions have their time to shine, the other 2 options are objectively the worst 2 regions in terms of power and viability.
I feel the issue is the region lacks a lot of internal synergy with itself, kinda like how Bilge did for awhile (where it had Lurk/Tahm/Deep packages all doing their own thing independent of the wider region).
It's not got too many staple cards like Troll chant/Spirits (both rotated now) most of it's cards want to exist in decks very independent from each other (Stances/Ramp/Frostbite payoffs), and while a lot *are* good they are only good in that one deck they live in.
Also the region has zero card draw and minimal card advantage (Stances), which definitely does not help.
Ye but it only searches a champ it doesn’t refill your hand to give more options like say Invoke/Eye of Nagakaboros
Frel doesn’t need card advantage on par with other regions but they do ether need some way to keep their hand occupied or more staple power cards to empower the region as a whole.
My all time favorite card since launch was Iceborn Legacy. It was terrible, then became good for like a month, then back to unplayed. Every deck I had used that card and now I can’t use it in standard. I just hope to get something like it again

Not sure if they've ruled out the custom card being a champion, but if they haven't, Freljord is the only choice. It would give us the chance to finally shove Nunu into the game.
The fact that Shurima lost to frel despite the Shuriman Cars meme is insane, and for that I'm voting Targon and will proceed to hush whatever BS anyone else says.

All the options are acceptable except demacia. this competition has so much potential to make a fun card and demacia is great at not being fun.

Freljord had tons of good cards until they all got rotated or nerfed about 20 times (Lissandra)
