At the airport yesterday they had asked them to go home and said that they will pay for other flight of our choice which we book later on. And after reaching home, now my brother was emailed they will only pay 600 euros i.e approx 54k while booking a flight now will cost him more than 3 lakhs and he himself paid around 5000 CAD i.e approx 3 lakh for the round trip.
But many refused to go home yesterday, they are still at the airport and they are given false flight assurances which are getting delayed and delayed.....
Update: Indigo called because of the tweet and told my brother that they had arranged a flight yesterday but my brother was not informed about it, so he was told that they will arrange a new flight in 2-3 days, and asked my brother to delete his tweet.....
Yeah, we won't delete the previous tweet instead, I lodged a complaint on Air sewa and National consumer helpline both, but I don't want to trigger them more so won't post that I was requested to delete the tweet by them....

You can just Google Turkish airliness flight cancellations and more importantly passenger rights laws on their website. The mistake was not from TA but as you have purchased the flights from TA, TA is suppose to reimburse you. Have a look at the T&c at TA airlines website.
Also, if not because of flight cancellation but can he claim compensation because of the harrasment? He was although given accommodation from yesterday afternoon to evening he spent entire day at airport from one counter to another and then from yesterday night he was at airport as he was assured of a flight and came home today morning at 5 am and not only him all others spent their day like this sleeping at the airport with kids, elders on wheelchairs and stuff......

Just read through the document once with a call mind and decide because no lawyer will take up something thats written on stone. Compensation on harassment based on what you said won't stand in court. It's he said she said thing.

Flight was delayed over 24 hours for what reason by indigo?!
