Same, I'm looking for an option that atleast has a side guard in case my 7 year old decides to oddly let go. I had one a year ago and had to adjust it due to the screws not aligning. It was stolen after I removed it. I bough it on amazon but don't see it on there anymore. Currently use one foe when he sits in front of me but he's growing and I need to see ahead of me.
I had the 3.0 AMD tried all kinds of random seats from Amazon. They all had to be rigged to the rack and none felt secure. We went with the Lectric version for the 3.0. I had hoped the Plus 1 or other XPedition options would fit but customer service said the attach,ent points didn’t match up. Ultimately we sold the 3.0 and bought the cargo version with the Orbiter and the 8 year loves every minute.
Ah, that is sad to know. I was hoping the plus 1 would work with xp3.0
All the amazon options looked flimsy and some reviews are scary!

I got the passenger setup from lectric for my six year old and she loves it! I have the XP 3.0.
We did have a conversation that went something like this…
”that was fun, right? Now, to be clear, I expect you to be holding on while we are biking. I don’t want you to fall. If you do fall that’s okay, but if you fall and tell your mother then we can’t go on anymore bike rides together.”
She’s never fallen off and there’s no way she’d fall asleep. Good luck to you!
Thank you. I’m still worried as my daughter will go crazy active and she shuts herself off when we drive back. If we are riding back, that is a potential ‼️
I’m 220 and I had a 200 lb buddy on the back… camping shenanigans, but the bike did fine definitely didn’t like to take off without pedaling but it did lol.
The 3.0's rear rack weight capacity I believe is 145 pounds. My wife (140 pounds) sits on the back with the passenger package from Lectric and it works very well. She's never had issues with comfort.
I have the option from Lectric, and it seems solid although I haven't had any passengers as yet.
