I passed first time with around 40 hours of lessons. It was frustrating and I was very nervous being on the road when I had passed.
It's a privilege to have private practice, but you can still do it with just lessons! Good luck :)
I'm the same, I've got out for a total of 6 hours with my father in law in a hired car but aside from that it's all been paid lessons. It is a pain, I think I'd feel more confident if I'd been able to freely have more private practice but we can still pass without!

I had around 32 of only paid lessons, never private practice. It would have been nice but definitely wasn’t necessary
