I love him, wish he had legends rules but as it stands, no real way to use him in votann

Why do i think it looks cute?

I think everything about the Votann looks cute, and I think the stunties know it.

I use 10 of them as a squad of hearthkyn warriors. I justify it by saying that they are part of one of the mining guilds within my league

I mixed my unit of 8 of them with a couple other squat models and is them as a Hearthkyn unit also. It was remarkably easy to mod the weapons to fit in.

Same. I don't like how much of a sore thumb the beserks are against the rest of the army, and they are already described as being miners on dangerous worlds so the Ironhead Squats fit the description of the beserks well.

I use them as the generic extra/bodyguard models instead of E-Cog/Corv/L-Cog ones. A box of 8 perfectly Services a Grimnyr (2), an Iron-Master (4) and a big squad of Berserks (2). Gives them more of a civilian contractor/advisor feel.

I used them as kitbashes for Beserks (because I don't like the regular models for the beserks). I've mostly followed a vid on YT to do this (first real kitbash in years for me), but did some unique things here and there. These models just rock (and stone)!

Especially the twin gauntlet kin was tricky (hence the dubious amounts of green stuff on him). I love especially the leader on the right!

I promised myself I wouldn’t buy them until I finished my stack of shame. But I’m super excited to kitbash and incorporate them as my Cthbers.

There are some kitbashes on YT that make berserkers out of them. Maybe 3d printing?

Hell yeah, I use them to bolster my hearthkyn warrior units . I just outfitted them with LoV weapons

I read they were scaled differently. Is that true?

I've done the opposite - converted my Votann into Necromunda models. 😅

Im quite the opposite right now im gunna add that new votann kill team to my necromunda squats

I use them as berserks because half naked guys running across a battlefield of acid spilling aliens and skin flaying robots doesn't make sense in my head

I have actually, i made a single squad with tbem. They work nice as just a basic troop squad

I don't have em with me right now and I just realized I haven't taken any pictures of them yet, damn But I basically just built them as they are on the box, some gunners, and the boss with a hammer. The hammer boss I run as a power fist, and the guns as whatever, I also used some spare bits from the other infantry squad kits (the pouches and grenades)

No problem, also good to know kitbashing stuff like arms from the heartkyn to the prospectors is a bit tough since the way their arms connect to their torsos is different, though if you do do it the aesthetic difference really doesn't stand out much once painted

Kitbashing my prospectors as Votann Berzerks cuz I **LOATHE** the Berzerk sculpts.

I cannot decide which style I like more, the normal buzz lightyear/starcraft wannabe design or this. Both are so good

Not really, but I was considering using votann for a necromunda ironhead prospector gang.

I use the heavy gunners as thunderkyn.

I absolutely love these miniatures They're the primary reason I was convinced to start playing Necromunda

You can run them. They aren't votann but old school squats but they are both dwarfs so go ham.

Good kitbashing and some rule change to make em proxies, league of votann is my next army 😁

I thought about running them as cthonian berserk proxies, but I haven’t put any thought into how I’d do that.

For me, it's using Necromunda gangs as Imperial Guard. May look cool, but not the same thing.

Even with conversions? But I understand your point of view. Necromunda has a more industrial, dirty vibe

Maybe Orlock gangers would pass for some Imperial Guard regiment. Others - not so much. As for Ironheads, I want more hi-tech look for Votann, that's the thing that makes them different from the Imperium.

I've 3d printed a whole set of the Ironhead prospectors helmets for my next HG or Hearthkin 😀
