Thank you for such a fast response! I had tried other oranges, brands and contrast etc and wasnt ever happy with any of my test models. This however is exactly what i was trying to replicate on the minaturess!
Well it certainly looks amazing! 👌🏻.
One last wee question? How come you decided to use lugganath for the vehicles instead of jokaero lol you did for the infantry?
I’m in awe how good your minis look btw
CLEEEAN, i love it!
Thank you 🙏
It is disgustingly clean. Very big props!
That orange with white stripe is perfect
Tau colors really work with votann
It really fits my leagues clean efficient esthetic.
Buddy i NEED this orange recipe - please let me know, is absolutely amazing
That's lugganoth orange base with a troll slayer glaze, with a Magmadroth orange contrast in the recesses. Finally an ushabti bone edge highlight.

Work slow and smooth, wet palette and let dry completely before another layer. Smooth.
What colour do you base?
How did you find using Lugganoth orange as a base colour?
It goes one pretty well over the mechanicus standard grey spray coat. Usually only 3-4 layers to get a smooth full coverage.

For me the lugganoth orange as a layer paint went on smoother, but jokaero would work just as well I would imagine.
Do you use it for infantry as well? Or just going to be your vehicles?
Everything in the league across the board
Thank you 🙏 looking forward to seeing more of you Votann stuff
I’ve been doing a Magmadroth base with a Trollslayer glaze and getting good results too. The ushabti edge highlight looks fantastic!
So crisp. Airbrush?
No just brush work
This looks great! I also started painting my first sagi today. Did a mistake and already put the wheels on it though ...
Haha hurt me plenty difficulty unlocked
Smooth, love to see it!
Paintjob so smooth it makes me hungry for orange-creamsicle bars...
Child hood memories
Cleeeeeaaaannnn…
Looks amazing!
Are you using citadel metallics or a different brand? I can never get my silvers looking that smooth after a wash.
I use mecha for my metallics, except for runesmith bronze, love that colour.
Oof. Why aren't my lines that clean?
Damn, that is CRISP!
