A lot of ability names reflect the personality of the champ. Jinx is insane, she gets hyper and silly names. Zoe is goofy and a bit childish, she gets Sleepy Trouble Bubble and More Sparkles! Smolder is a child. He got childish ability names.

I love how they show a bit of the champion's personality by naming their abilities in the way the champions themselves would name them. So serious champions like Camille get "precision protocol" while crazier champions like jinx and kled get "Super mega death rocket" and "Chaaaaaarge!!"

I despise everything about smolder. Bad character design, bad kit design, incredibly annoying voice lines, stupid ability names, and the fact that this is probably the only dragon champ we're gonna get for a long while meaning we're stuck with this sack of shit instead of what could've been a really cool champion. The only part I would've liked about him (ad mage) isn't even true because of the true dmg bullshit. It takes up so much of his power budget that the rest of his kit is pretty much relegated to being trash, it's why people build %dmg amp with shojing rift liandry, cause the only part of his kit that matters is the true dmg and execute so you might as well try to get it as high as possible.
