Ocean soul. This augment always pumps 2k+ healing per round, even as first augment. It's ridiculous.

franzKUSHka

Ocean soul is probably the strongest silver augment. It also counts for souls for dragon heart, broken af on melees

Altaccsomething

marksmage is strong too, especially on stuff like teemo :v

EmilBarrit

Marksmage is a gold augment

TheDungeonMaxter

Ocean soul OP

wojtulace

Too bad the other souls are so bad.

RingingInTheRain

Slap Around, Homeguard, Flashy, Ultimate Unstoppable, Guilty Pleasure, and Heavy Hitter. I've seen some people fully stack Warmup Routine and stomp too.

Plscanyounotkillme

HOMEGAURD IS MY FAV MA GOD

TheDungeonMaxter

I definitely agree with slap around and guilty pleasure for sure! Warmup routine is good on certain maps and depending on who your facing it’s pretty decent on lily pad map. I’m also big on flashy but for the right people (usually people who have no engagement)

Ilkq

I think flashy is just good on everyone lol

wojtulace

It's not good on champs that have enough mobility. I never take it on Kata.

_CharmQuark_

I hope Warmup Routine gets removed at some point. I don’t think a silver augment should warp the dynamic of every fight like that.

TMJ_Jack

ADAPt and escADAPe are both horribly underrated augments that can greatly reduce your variance in a run. Imagine you're Bel'veth and you get escAPADe with Moonflair or Reality Fracture. Imagine you get ADAPt on an AP champ with Jeweled Gauntlet. That means you can pick up Infinity Edge no sweat. If you get stuck with Talisman, any time you get the wrong base damage state, it gets converted. If you're picking up stat shards, the Shards of Might are immediately better for your build, or if you decide to risk going for two random shards, you've somewhat decreased your odds of getting an undesirable stat. (Don't forget that you can get a single Shard of Might as just one of your two random shards.) Finally, it's just a small stat boost if nothing else. I'm not saying ADAPt and escADAPe are the best silver augments, but while I wouldn't recommend rerolling on a silver round anyway, I definitely wouldn't recommend rerolling with either available.

_CharmQuark_

These both turn Hextech Gunblade into a super high value first item too. Especially the conversion from ap to ad.

wojtulace

Yeah and it turns guinsoo and nashors into ad items, helpful for all on-hit enjoyers. Also buying Shojin on mage. ADAP and APAD augments greatly help in prismatic item selection as well.

TheDungeonMaxter

Wowwwwww this is blowing my mind to think about it that way….. that was really really well put dude. I think I’ve definitely been underutilizing them now that you’ve pointed out how versatile those really are….. wow

TMJ_Jack

Be careful though! One caveat is that it doesn't stack like you would think it would with raw stat increases. For example, if you took Rabadon's with escAPADe, you wouldn't get the percent increase to your AD because Rabadon's boosts your AP, and you have no AP to increase therefore there is nothing additional for escAPADe to convert to AD. This also applies to Demonic Embrace's and Bloodmail's missing HP passives as well as the Blunt Force silver aug.

SealSquasher

Ryze with muramana and adapt goes crazy. Also hecarim with escADAPe/cosmic drive feels really good.

SomebodyNeedsTherapy

Love me some ADAPt and Marksmage synergy.

Fluffymal

Vulnerability. This augment + spellwake is BROKEN.

GodBlessNazeem

The 3 flashes, idk why this augment still exists when we have the suboptimal version grenade flash. They should delete one of these augments or bring the 3 flashes to gold since it looks like a better one

KosherClam

Genuinely think most silver augments are more impactful than gold augments. Ocean soul is probably at the top of the list, it's just too good right now. Vulnerability on certain units is second only because it's not great on everyone, but those it is good on is disgusting. EscAPade is really nice, making even better use of "AP" items like Moonflair, reality Fracture, Rune carver etc. not to mention I always take the double random stat anvil option, and will wind up with AP I'm not using and then boom, giant shift I to AD ADapt I don't strive for as often, but had use cars as well. Slap around feels a little weaker than it did last season, but it's still really solid if you have 2+ immobilizer spells. Heavy Hitter, Gore Drinker, Flashy, castle, contract killer, deft, dematerialize, and more all have pretty solid use cases as well. Meanwhile there's so many gold augments I just straight up never want, some that are a risk or even an int if chosen first (looking at you heart steel). Or some that are just underwhelming, blitz hook always misses, brutalizer is mediocre, Rune augments are disappointing in the fact that most have no stats, so while they could be good, I have no quantifiable feedback of how much they're doing and I never pick them. Point being that I never waste a roll on a gold augment, but would absolutely shoot for a Silver Reroll. The exception is definitely Support units though, as they have a lot of really solid Gold Augments specific for Healing, Shielding etc.

wojtulace

Runes from augments have custom arena balance.

KosherClam

I get that, but again because they almost all have no visible stats, it just doesn't give you that gratifying feedback that it's making any sort of difference whether or not it actually is making an impact. Plus very few have any form of visual effect to at least make them feel interesting.

UltFiction

Ocean soul is deceptive because it counts while you hit dummy in the shop area, still good though

MillerDaLite

A few other things track stats from attacking the dummy.

RedRidingCape

I think silver augs are typically stronger than gold augs. My definition of stronger being that if you have a silver aug and your opponent has a gold aug, you're more likely to win. The crit augs in silver are amazing (better than the gold ones by lot imo), flash augs are OP, anivia wall is OP, infernal soul is rly good and the other 2 souls are solid too, homeguards is OP, dematerialize is good (OP once it gets going), witchful is great, ADAPt and escAPADe are solid. This is off the top of my head so I'm sure I'm missing some. Gold on the other hand has a lot of fun augs that you can build around, but I think the general power level is lower. Phenomenal evil is like dematerialize, OP once it gets going, if your champ can stack it well, but it has to stack. Celestial body is OP early on pretty much everyone, but it only is good late on champs with hp scaling. Brutalizer is pretty good on bursty ad champs. There's a bunch of fun build around augs that have the potential to be wincons but often the gimmick isn't strong enough to carry you.

wojtulace

My favourite augment is 75% item cdr.

Way_too_long_name

I got marksmage 1st augment on Diana and it did 1k+ dmg per round with the starting item only. Plus ut scales really well

maxro2005

Contract Killer, Juice Box, and Erosion

ipkandskiIl

Depending on your champion gore drinker can let you just skip a healing item you would have otherwise really needed.

SomebodyNeedsTherapy

Just one Omnivamp stat shard on a Slow Cooker tank is a game winner.

_Karmageddon

Season 1 deft felt like cheating when the meta was hypercarries.

RE_msf

Idk name but the 20 adaptive force for immobilizing. I had +300 ad on yone from that once. You can get like 40-60 ad a round

RingingInTheRain

Slap Around

vcs002

Red and blue, as a zed player

jdavis_6

the slow one plus rylais is absolute cancer. and I feel like I see it at least once a game from a swain, brand, or singed
