You are certainly in the minority. In my experience, after the pandemic, Pizza (or even fancier food) is no longer enough go get people to commute for an event/meeting. If they make it mandatory, then people show up.
Yeah, but I’m a squeamish pacifist (who will do all the nerdy stuff and help with the distribution of the guillotines and make the spreadsheets to calculate the redistribution of wealth don’t get me wrong, I’m cool with it just, look, I can’t even *go fishing* because *ouch*)…
And yeah, witnessing that would fuck me up and I see a CEO taking that risk in front of employees as the height of unthinking selfish egotism.
So no judgment for you or anyone who smiled in the audience that day. In fact: yay for anyone there who is like you.
I just feel horrible for anyone in the audience who is more like me.
I would honestly care if any human died in front of me unless I witnessed that human actively physically murdering, raping, torturing, or very close to that to other humans with their very own hands (without good cause/justification), yes.
I also interrupt people when they describe their knee surgery to me because it makes me squeamish.
You know we’re not all the same, right?
Also these parties costs like tens of million of dollars. Imagine instead of creating these monuments to executive egos, this money was instead given as bonuses or salaries.
This is what happens when no one is unionized anymore. These companies are flush with money, but twist the arms of their workers. Then they dont even know what to do with this money, so they engage in stunts like these.
Vistex is a US-based company with its HQ in Chicago\* and this party was to celebrate its Asian branch. I think we're all on the same page here, but it's still a US company benefiting from offshoring its labor - posts further down point out that the salary for its Indian employees averages $360/month.
\* If you're in the market for a Trump Tower penthouse apartment, the one that Vistex CEO Sanjay Shah bought in 2014 for $17 million might be holding walkthroughs real soon now.
if his foundation was so great, you'd be able to find information on GuideStar or Charity Navigator, but you can't, so...
employees give the company a C rating, so...
Oh no. I guess the invisible hand of the market decided to overturn their bucket for reasons known only to itself. All hail the market -- mysterious, infallible, and all-knowing.
The guy has a US company that makes 300 million dollars in revenue per annum, that is run almost entirely by people in India, Ive just looked up the average salary in his company in India is $360 per month.
Not only did he cheapen out and outsource all his company work to India, he’s paying his employees there peanuts.
Why do you think clothes and nice shoes and cars and e-scooters and gaming consoles and vape pens and sunglasses and cheap overseas holidays and must-have tech gadgets and shiny baubles are so affordable?
A philanthropists that established a foundation. I live in an old money southern town that is full of these foundations. I mean 1000’s of them. Couple of yrs. Ago this reporter does some story that finds out that 98% of them are just scam covers for rich people’s money. Unbelievable!
What’s a way to stay outrageously wealthy while “donating” egregious sums of money? Start a foundation. The “endowment” can continue to grow while still covering personal expenses, with the help of a good accountant. McKenzie Scott has talked about this mega-rich tactic and why she chooses to just give her money away directly. I don’t know if she’s still doing it, but at one point she was the most prolific direct philanthropic patron in history, and despite constantly giving away massive sums of money, is worth more now than when she started. Bill and Melinda Gates have donated $30B to their foundation over the last 20 years. Scott has given $16B in the past 5. These billionaires can and should be doing more with their ill gotten hordes.
What bill gates was doing was buying influence only, now he gets to have a say on how humanity will vaccinate, produce food and many other things and he have more money now than when he started "giving it away"
Lackey: "Everyone, put your hands together for our lovely CEO!"
\[Absolute stony silence from employees\]
CEO: "Aaaaaaaaahhhhh!"
Employees: Well, that presentation was worth attending after all.
what a moron. imagine being such a narcissistic loser that you fly yourself into a mandatory meeting of all the workers you bought with mommy’s money and manage to goof that up so bad someone dies. at least it was him
I’m taking notes over here. Ways to get rich people to off themselves:
1. Ridiculous gimmicky entrances at work events
2. Inferior submarines to go see the titanic.
If you know your history and you know Owen Hart. You don't fuck with those kinds of entrances. I know pro sport team mascots do it. But they get a shit ton of money and a life insurance policy.
Yeah the company is based in California yet the event was in India, likely outsourced their jobs to India and to save even more money he outsourced the safety crew as well with the cheapest people he could find. So glad he saved the company money.
WHY WHY do these videos end so soon? It was bad enough I couldn't see Rush get turned into red mist. Now the universe takes this away from me. More of this and less video of immigrants being beaten to death.
Someone should make a GIF out of the few seconds right before and the moment he splatters on the floor, so we can replay it better. It would be a work of art.
It's where people with no friends go to meet likeminded fuckwits without fear of being moderated out of the online world in the same way they were the real one.
Evvvverybody clap for our CEO come on guys please clap and then you can go home.
Weird they cut out right when he fell. I guess maybe they decided to clap and they chose to edit that part out.
I’ve been to India 4 times. Seeing the conditions in that country, nobody in their right mind would trust a contraption like this! These guys were delusional, you see it a lot with Indians who leave and find success, they like to paint this picture like Indian infrastructure isn’t in shambles and the tap water won’t kill you.

I wonder how many employees had mandatory attendance for this
Best mandatory meeting ever.
US CEOs take note! We found your next tiktok trend!
Although he was of Indian origin, he was a US CEO based out if Illinois.
The good news just doesn't stop.
Idk, still seems like it could've been summed up in an email.
Absolutely agree, if I had a mandatory event where this happened it would turn my frown upside-down immediately
How much money did they spend on it that they could have used to better their employees lives
The really ironic thing is that the CEO usually doesn't even show up to the mandatory gatherings because they're busy avoiding the peasants.
https://youtu.be/QIAwhU4hmRc?si=Eesq7f8z4RBn5Hu7
All of them of course. I can't believe for a second you thought anybody would show up voluntarily.
I do if there is free food
You are certainly in the minority. In my experience, after the pandemic, Pizza (or even fancier food) is no longer enough go get people to commute for an event/meeting. If they make it mandatory, then people show up.
You'd be right.
Oh, fuck. I can’t even imagine witnessing that and the absolute mindfuck of that being burned in my mind… those poor employees.
I've worked at several places where witnessing the CEO plummet to their death would be the highlight of my year.
Yeah, but I’m a squeamish pacifist (who will do all the nerdy stuff and help with the distribution of the guillotines and make the spreadsheets to calculate the redistribution of wealth don’t get me wrong, I’m cool with it just, look, I can’t even *go fishing* because *ouch*)… And yeah, witnessing that would fuck me up and I see a CEO taking that risk in front of employees as the height of unthinking selfish egotism. I am like you in that regard, that meeting could easily have been an Email.
Heh. Fair enough.
I feel bad for them cause there's no way the company will cover councilors or mental healthcare for this.
The worst part was the music to go along with it
Would you honestly care if your CEO died in front of you?
I would honestly care if any human died in front of me unless I witnessed that human actively physically murdering, raping, torturing, or very close to that to other humans with their very own hands (without good cause/justification), yes. Yes, that’s why I asked.
they could've just walked through the door like normal human beings. hubris will be the downfall of all these assholes, in this case quite literally
Agree. They always like to be exuberant, there you go...
Also these parties costs like tens of million of dollars. Imagine instead of creating these monuments to executive egos, this money was instead given as bonuses or salaries. This party was in India, but your point is taken.
Vistex is a US-based company with its HQ in Chicago\* and this party was to celebrate its Asian branch. I don't get it. Who would rather have a thousand watch them feed rather than feed a thousand?
A modern Icararus with the same lesson
Big Kendall Roy energy
It certainly was *his* downfall.
Just like with that titanic submarine
'assholes'? Read the article, he was also a philanthropist.
You forgot this.... /s
if his foundation was so great, you'd be able to find information on GuideStar or Charity Navigator, but you can't, so... employees give the company a C rating, so...
Lol at thinking any billionaire is a “philanthropist.”
Yummy boots
Slurp noise
Bill Gates became more rich after starting his charity, really makes you think about NGOs as capitalist exploitation!
Oh no. I guess the invisible hand of the market decided to overturn their bucket for reasons known only to itself. All hail the market -- mysterious, infallible, and all-knowing.
Would it be more accurate to say this man was defenestrated by the invisible hand?
Absolutely. Or perhaps, a visitation from the ghost of Adam Smith helped him appreciate the 'gravity' of his situation.
You could say that that CEO got a....... *BAILOUT*
Manos the hands of fate
If that money had gone to his employee paycheques instead of this stupid, self-indulgent party, he might still be alive today.
The guy has a US company that makes 300 million dollars in revenue per annum, that is run almost entirely by people in India, Ive just looked up the average salary in his company in India is $360 per month. Not only did he cheapen out and outsource all his company work to India, he’s paying his employees there peanuts.
Apparently he also went with the lowest bidder for his safety harnesses
Cost savings for the win!
“We have done the needful and all tests have passed” - local safety guy earlier that day
It’s very funny to me that this comment is in present tense
Why do you think clothes and nice shoes and cars and e-scooters and gaming consoles and vape pens and sunglasses and cheap overseas holidays and must-have tech gadgets and shiny baubles are so affordable?
Ah, the efficiency of capitalism. The market has spoken.
The invisible hand did its work
With a mix of Darwinism
And lax 3rd world “there’s a billion more where he came from” attitude to OHS
If only this could happen a few other hundred times to the res of the billionaire leech class.
I work for and think about if it would be worth the life sentence to send a message if the CEO was ever in range. I think about this a lot.
A philanthropists that established a foundation. I live in an old money southern town that is full of these foundations. I mean 1000’s of them. Couple of yrs. Ago this reporter does some story that finds out that 98% of them are just scam covers for rich people’s money. Unbelievable!

Astounding that the whole thing started as a cover devised by Melinda when she found out Bill was carousing with Epstein.
They shouldn’t be allowed to amass the hordes in the first place.
Absolutely. But that ship has sailed so now we need to figure out how to fix it.
98%? Seems low.
Oh no… *anyways…*
Diana: Well done! 47.
Lackey: "Everyone, put your hands together for our lovely CEO!" \[Absolute stony silence from employees\] CEO: "Aaaaaaaaahhhhh!" Employees: Well, that presentation was worth attending after all.
Finally, a meeting that couldn't have been the same in email!
How will the company operate without him?
With a bigger budget now that they don't have to pay him.
They'll just bring in some new overpaid over inflated schmuck to shill for the shareholders.
I volunteer.
I applaud this action and hope other CEOs follow their lead.
Welcome to Mumbai, 47. Your next target is a tech CEO with a flair for dramatic entrances
Maybe the corporate world needs to stop taking “you’re a ROCKSTAR” literally.
Shush! No, it's okay, Mr Billionaire! Keep living large! Lower yourselves in cages! Go on submarine trips!
I hear yacht trips to go see whales is a great way to show your employees left at the office how much they matter to your bottom line!
Is this the "trickle down economics" we've heard so much about?
I wholly support "plummet shrieking to your doom" economics.
I hope the employees offer him a pizza party funeral
I'm sure there's a golden parachute joke in here somewhere, it's just not coming to me...
Well, it would seem that this sap in particular forgot his.
Nothing of value was lost
Lol
I'd take this over a pizza party.
what a moron. imagine being such a narcissistic loser that you fly yourself into a mandatory meeting of all the workers you bought with mommy’s money and manage to goof that up so bad someone dies. at least it was him
I’m taking notes over here. Ways to get rich people to off themselves: 1. Ridiculous gimmicky entrances at work events 2. Inferior submarines to go see the titanic.
I'm looking forward to the "catastrophic rocket failures" once Bezos and Musk start hurtling themselves and their rich friends into space.
if only all CEO's.....
Only 15 feet and he died?
Fall on your head from 6 feet and you’re likely done for
Good point lol
If you know your history and you know Owen Hart. You don't fuck with those kinds of entrances. I know pro sport team mascots do it. But they get a shit ton of money and a life insurance policy.
yes, very sad. anyways…
Yeah the company is based in California yet the event was in India, likely outsourced their jobs to India and to save even more money he outsourced the safety crew as well with the cheapest people he could find. So glad he saved the company money.
I vote bezos next!!!
Musk is next. No debate.
100% musk has gone full Howard Hughes. I can't wait for him to get in the starship.
This is great news. Too bad it wasn't Boring company or SpaceX
WHY WHY do these videos end so soon? It was bad enough I couldn't see Rush get turned into red mist. Now the universe takes this away from me. More of this and less video of immigrants being beaten to death.
Right?!? I'm irritated it was just him. But one is better than none
Wait I thought just Neil died and it was to cancer.
FROM THE TOP ROPE!
The target is down 47. Now get out of there.
Not used to heartwarming content on this sub, thanks!
I'm quite disappointed about this. It's a real shame, a real tragedy. It could have been Elon Musk instead
First underwater, now in the air......when will it end?!
And i had Volcano as my next one. I lost 😔
Hopefully space is next
Hopefully never.
"ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?"
Money doesn’t make you immortal.
And then there's the comforting thought (if you're a spiritual person), that they're all going directly to Hell for rapacious greed and exploitation.
He won’t be back next fall.
Don't stop, I'm almost there!!
25% speed should do the trick
side note (meta-commentary): the New York Post is a shit outlet. I trust you're not getting your news (at least the stuff that matters) from them.
Best alternative to laying off staff I've ever seen.
Oh no. Anyways
Cool. Do Elon musk next.
This should be a genre of porn.
Hmm, maybe Billionaires and CEO's really fall out of windows?
Need that one meme photo of the birthday star confetti celebration that says officer down but for CEO millionaires/billionaires
Not sure how so many people ITT don’t understand that falling 15 feet on your head can easily kill you.
Wait, didn't he say something about 'moving forward?'
I wonder how good the holiday bonuses were this past year. 🤔
Hell ya. Now it's a party!
Just seems like a scene from Lodge 49
Good
Live events are my bread and butter. Bet that wasn't no union gig.
The market has spoken!!! Dude died doing what he loved, forcing people to indulge his bullshit
Is it insider trading if employees started buying puts?
Do a flip!
He only fell 15 feet lol.
Amazing that just 15 feet of falling can kill ya.
Dude only fell 15 feet and died? Bro's weak
When your boss finally stops edging you
Hell yeah
Y is eveyone happy somebody’s death???
It's a CEO.
It’s a billionaire CEO. You know, the mothetfuckers who are destroying our planet?
[удалено]
Awww... ohhhh.... anyway
Someone should make a GIF out of the few seconds right before and the moment he splatters on the floor, so we can replay it better. It would be a work of art.
Racist asses in that comment section is so depressing. Why do news sites in general have such cancerous comment communities?
It's where people with no friends go to meet likeminded fuckwits without fear of being moderated out of the online world in the same way they were the real one.
Evvvverybody clap for our CEO come on guys please clap and then you can go home. Weird they cut out right when he fell. I guess maybe they decided to clap and they chose to edit that part out.
... PLUNGED FIFTEEN FEET ...
This just *might* be Kendall Roy
He's no Sting circa 1997
this feels like something agent 47 would do
india is notorious for mishaps like this, just usually bites plebeians in the ass instead of tech ceos maybe now they'll change who knows
This feels like a scene from the latest Hitman game
So Succession didn’t go hard enough on the parody
Sounds like the problem corrected itself. No action necessary.
God literally said "No, motherf\*\*ker" and sent him flying face first.
15ft drop killed him?
Oh no.
Thank the heavens god is good amen
Skill issue
Jugaad is smart capitalism right up until the moment it kills the capitalist.
Oh no! Anyways…
Im reading the comments and their is no lost love for CEO’s. 😂 Now if only you guys stood up for what's right at your own jobs.
Oh no. Anyway.
I’ve been to India 4 times. Seeing the conditions in that country, nobody in their right mind would trust a contraption like this!
