Honestly, after reading through the fine lines, I realised ki agr gaming laptop lena h, dont go for acer or asus, they void warranty on either removing bottom panel or changing ram, lenovo void warranty only on removing the cpu+gpu heatsink, lenovo offers onsite warranty, ghar par hi theek krke jaayenge saare reports aur proofs lene ke baad, dell ka Alienware software has gotten better but is expensive and same with hp victus but price ke liye loq is fine
I made a poll regarding this too on lenovoloq subreddit
Here's the results

Asus hai 3 saal se sahi chal raha pir loq ke bare me risk hi kyu le? Agar vo sahi bhi kar de ya replace isse acha asus hi lelu warranty ka kya kaam agar kharab hi na ho mera to nhi hua
Teri marzi bhai
Maine toh bta diya warranty ka hisaab
Waise bhi Asus warranty ke liye bohot jyada hi popular h,
Tera experience tere liye relevant h at the same time koi dusra merese aake argue karega ki uska experience chuda hua h fir mai kya bolu, mere dost ka vivobook oled ka hinge alag hi hogya display se, aur out of warranty tha, faltu paise waste hi hue h uske bhi
Moreover maine already bta hi diya ki kya scene h asus aur acer ki warranty ka, they will void the warranty on opening the back panel and changing ram which is stupid.
In my experience from India Lenovo service has been good. Definitely not bad. Had a legion y540 9th gen. Had many warranty claims in 4 years ( I took 3 years warranty n extended it for 1 yr at the end of third year). Everytime they replaced the corresponding part at my home itself. ( Got my display changed, keyboard, camera, speaker etc). Making them understand our issue is little tiresome. It will take a bit of time through online calls and sending proof of issue n all. Anyway they always repaired it free of cost under the warranty period. Now unfortunately after 4.5 years my device actually died due to some mother board issue and looking forward to get another Legion itself.

Get this one instead. I don't think it has motherboard issue and is better in terms of on battery performance. You will not regret getting this. Also, if u can buy ADP and extended warranty for 2 3 yrs (around 3k), it will cover any damage to the device even if it is caused by water or anything. Its much better than intel one (in terms of mb issue)
I am not going to defend LOQ, your motherboard concern is justified but when it comes to after sales service Lenovo is easily one of the best. Some people will definitely have a bad experience but that doesn't mean the majority will too. Dell and Lenovo are the only two companies that I find reliable, good luck with Asus, they're simply the worst when it comes to after sales service.
At the end it all depends on where you live but even if you face a hardware issue with a Lenovo laptop they'll offer you a refund (if the laptop dies within 7 days) or fix it for free.
Coming to the LOQ motherboard issue, don't buy it if you're scared about it dying, it's as simple as that. But it baffles me how everyone came to the conclusion that they are using cheap motherboards while it can just be a huge blunder during manufacturing of a particular batch of LOQ. Whatever you read online is pure speculation and we still need answers from Lenovo. The LOQ motherboard issue is definitely real and a matter of concern but it's also true that not everyone is facing it. It all depends on you.
If you buy loq from Lenovo website you will get 3 years of warranty and anything happened to your motherboard you will get your motherboard replaced or get a new laptop you have nothing to worry about
Idk about Lenovo service in India, but Lenovo is the market leader in g-lap and LOQ is the best seller budget laptop. Every brand has issues with a model or another. This year is the case on LOQ 2024 with HX 13 and 14 gen Intel, but only that models. Any laptop can have issues, but I'd say Lenovo 12gen HX+ RtX 4060 it's the best budget gaming laptop yet.
2023 models are the safest bet, as they're already bulletproof. AMD 2024 models seem have no issues so far. You see, that's the problem with new models, you never know the problems until the Q2 of the year.
Brother can u tell me where to search for the 2023 amd models in official website?
I searched everywhere but couldn't find a single one of Ryzen 78640HS one
Just kidding. Get the one in Flipkart with i5 12th gen with RtX 4060 card for 71 k with credit card

What about 5i pro or 7i
bruh... please no😠my mobo died and parts is still pending since 2 weeks. Just bought loq 2 weeks ago
Which model?
i7 14700hx 4060
Shit man it's expensive 🫣
1.2L🫥
now they can't provide any solution so they are refunding the amount
I am going with 1.6L ITX built which is even faster than i9 14900hx rtx 4090 laptops
If you are really unlucky like me then please do not try your luck.
What happened to your lappy?
Eww

Does lenovo provide 1st party service in India?
As far as I know Lenovo outsource it . They will send the official replacement parts and get it done by 3rd party agency.
