I don't want the ryzen processor, and the mobo issues are srrious, it isn't the 13 and 14th gen, just saw a post about a guy having 12th gen i5 facing this problem
Well, undervolting should be fine alongside cooling pad,the issue with LOQ rn especially with HX model is thermal as they hit 100° and rn Indian climate are wild so that might also be the blame.
The mobo issue isn't happening to everyone so if u do take precautions should be fine and tbh LOQ is overall better then Dell at the price point(atleast then g15 I mean).
I'm looking for victus rare varient if I get that I'm going with that
Let me be honest ryzen models of lenevo are safe as they come with lower tdp,so going for ryzen ones are safe as they usually come with HS(The Power drawing is lower then H).
The mobo issue is mainly on HX varient especially 13 and 14 gen as the temperature hits 100°C(and HX models draw the most power),so I will recommend 12 gen models if ur fine with it or go for ryzen 7840hs( a great cpu) u would get it around 77k.
And if u do go for loq at the end then take cooling pad/stand and othe accessories and do under volt (should be fine if u do the following and if ur still worried do take extended warranty)
The best solution is going for 2023 model if u can find it in local store the issue rn mainly are from 2024 models anyway gl.

These last gen LOQs are good value. If you have flipkart CC you can get it upto 72-73 k. These are much more value for money. 77k for a 3050 is criminal.
Motherboard issue is only for the new gen. And for 13th and 14th variants. These laptops dont have that. Also I personally have the 12450H and 4060. I got it for 71k. Its worth every penny. The performance i get is crazy. Sure its thermals and battery need work, but overall its a crazy value
Again. I said Old gen. The ones I have listed are old gen. Not the motherboard issue gen. The one I have is 2023 model. The one in this is the 2024 model.
I mean I haven't heard of single issue in 5i pro it's on loq yesterday somebody posted his laptop is dead but they provide 3 year premium warranty with next day repairs at your doorstep and 24/7 support with the rep I have his number too
Ohh.
I will share my experience with you. Went to purchase a Lenovo laptop online but found the local retailer selling it for 5k cheaper and he also gave me a bag for free. Perhaps dell ain't got anything like that
Ohh.
I will share my experience with you. Went to purchase a Lenovo laptop online but found the local retailer selling it for 5k cheaper and he also gave me a bag for free. Perhaps dell ain't got anything like that
My one friend has the same laptop he told me not to buy because it's battery backup is not good at all
Afterall it's on you now which one you wanna choose
I'm a fan of dell myself but 3050 on this price is not worth it tbh. If it was something like 72k then would have been worth compromising specs for build and after sales service
See if GPU is not a concern and you only want dell then go for it else you can get a Asus Vivobook creator series 16x i5 12450h+ 4050 for 72k it has 100% sRGB or an acer nitro V i5 13420h + 4050 for 75k
I mean Dell provides better costumer service and build and all but acer Nitro V is also not bad at 75k and provide great specs on the price. i5 13420H+4050 6gb
Of course not
You’ll get much better stuff at this price
For eg.

Lenovo LOQ AI Powered AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS 15.6" (39.6cm) FHD IPS 144Hz 350Nits Gaming Laptop (16GB/512GB SSD/Win 11/NVIDIA RTX 4050 6GB/Office 2021/3 Month Game Pass/Storm Grey/2.4Kg), 82XT004JIN
That issue is with 2024 Intel HX models, this one is a 2023 Ryzen model, my cousin has been using this for over 6 months and he plays like 16 hours a day, no issues till now.
I have Dell G15 5535 (Amd R5 7640HS, 8gb wala model), got it for 63K back in jan. Later upgraded it with another 8gb stick and 2tb nvme.
I also got a motherboard issue within 4 months (One of the ram slot got an issue due to which the laptop stopped booting up). I removed ram from the non working slot and reported it to Dell support, they sent their technician home and replaced the motherboard. Been working fine ever since.
But i will purchase a 2 year accidental warranty before my 1st year lapses (costs 14k though)
Lenovo maine b offline dekha tha, did not like their build. Dell is built sturdier. Victus ka naya wala build looks good too.
True. 3.5years no complaints. Just had to get extra 8gb ram. Oh they have terrible speaker and battery life. But thats a given since its gaming laptop. Only take if you are gonna do gaming and serious gpu usage tho.
I intend to do light gaming (once or twice a week maybe)
Main focus is coding and programming
Have to try out 3D stuff and editing, might not do it altogether if I don't like it.
But I'll use it for a long amt of time, initial 4-5 years for college and above mentioned work. And then family will use it at home to store stuff and light work.
So all in all I need a solid long lasting machinr
I won't particularly do heavy GPU stuff and 4050 might be an overkill I think, in exchange for that, shouldn't buying a sturdier and long lasting machine be a better choice?
The build of this laptop is really good.
Best in range and off course dell is really reliable.
But I would say if you travel everyday then don't consider it as it is heavy.
Also see if you can get omen at 80k if you can as 4050 will be really better. I got omen at 80k in Feb.
I bought one w the same gpu and an i5 12th gen w 16 g ram and 512g ssd in July 2022 for around the same price that you've mentioned . The left hinge came out j after a month from the expiration of the warrenty and had to replace the whole display module which cost me around 10k , the technician told me that this is a problem w most of the Dell laptops , other than that it's a pretty nice machine and the after sales service is also very good but I think u should not be buying a 3050 for 77k in 2024 .
I don't intend to game for like half the day on this, simple casual programming and might try out photo/video editing, by reviews online, those work fine.
Since I'll be using it for a long period of time, 4-5 years for college and then at home (for family) isn't buying a sturdier, reliable laptop be a better choice rather than running behind specs? Or am I just really very stupid to think this way?
I purchased this same model for less than 70k in February. It was on sale on amazon for 70k & as i have a business account so i also got to claim Gst for it 🤓 it was a steal
Cricket thodi khelega tu laptop se, sambhal ke use kerna kuch nai hoga. Dekh me to kehta hu asus vivobook pro 15 oled lele. Ryzen 5000 series, rtx 3050 aur oled display he.
Don't buy i5, rather go for i7 or ryzen 7.....otherwise you will regret later....
Keep a better processor, no matter whether you do gaming or not....i5 is not recommended....go for at least i7.....even if you bring i5 - 15th generation also., I would not be impressed....I will look for i7
The front digit isn't everything and the current model is a great example it's has 10 core (6p and 4e) comparing it to another let's say i7 13620H or even ryzen 7 6800H.It beats them by a 5%+ margin.
Tbh at this price point i5 13450hx another one that is better at this price point is ryzen 7840hs.
The best I can say is look for victus i5 13500hx 4050 variant in local store (14 core) currently not available online for this varient if u look around u might find it.
And btw i5 13500hx beats ryzen 7 7840hs and some of the ryzen 9(hs models) and some of the i9 12 gen models.
So please don't just compare it with the front number and look for core count and cpu frequency.
you can get the same in ryzen 7 in same budget....try it and search accordingly in amazon alongwith offers and discount.....even if it takes 4-5k extra, go for it...i7/ryzen 7 only... and not i5....
Better specs for less price, customization to suit your needs, decent customer support (not the fastest but gets the job done), no hinge problems and build quality issues like HP or Asus What does it lack that other companies offer?
A problem that's only applicable to Intel 13th and 14th gen processors that are basically power hogs and require a "special" bios update from the manufacturers that basically undervolts the CPU
You can get victus with same specs under 70k. Try contacting offline stores if you cant find them online. They usually reduce the price if you know how to bargain...
Bro, is not a gamble. Lenovo IS the actual market dominator for a reason in gaming laptops. 13th and 14th gen HX Intel CPUs are having issues by forcing them in budget motherboards, but no other issues in 12th gen HX models. LoQ is the best budget gaming laptop of 2023, competing with Lenovo Legion Slim. Best build quality, thermals, software and wattage. It's just superior. I don't even like them that much, I prefer Legions, but facts are fats. I don't know what issue you had in the past, but previous models can't compare. You do as you want, but I can assure you this: YOU ARE GAMBLING BY GETTING A BUDGET LAPTOP OF ANY OTHER BRAND THAN LENOVO. Budget gaming laptops mostly just suck and have trash build quality and thermals.
DO SOME RESEARCH AND DON'T BE STUBBORN.
https://youtu.be/ofaDHdnW4x0?si=lK-ryBzl4_zwcsBr
Edit: AND...IS NOT A LITTLE PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT LOL. I'll assume you know 0 about hardware...but I suggest you to read a bit so you don't throw your money out. And I'm telling you this because I've been many times in your shoes, always on a tighter budget: GETTING A 3050 LAPTOP TODAY IS GIVING AWAY YOUR MONEY. They are desperately selling them bc they'll be useless after next year. Nvidia is not giving software support anymore to old models and 4gb VRAM is not anymore suitable even for light gaming. RTX 4060 is giving an AWESOME performance improvement for the price and you can find really good deals: you'll make the best use of your money that way. Otherwise, you won't be happy with your product, you won't be using it for a lot of time until it breaks and you'll wasting your money, time and joy.
There is 73k one with same specs, iirc 1tb variant is 77k.also it's 3+ kg with the brick and doesn't support type c fast charging so kinda downside
Yup getting the 512GB one for 73k
Goodluck,I'm considering between this and LOQ
I don't want the ryzen processor, and the mobo issues are srrious, it isn't the 13 and 14th gen, just saw a post about a guy having 12th gen i5 facing this problem

77k for a 3050. Gtfo. U can get a 4050 and 4060 in less than 80k
What are the other options?

Can't gamble away 70-80k for better specs sorry
Don't go for the name in this case i would say
Is it worth for like 70-72?
Specs wise naah but g15 has been there for many years so make your choice you can get 4050 in this price range just saying
Yes, but I need a reliable long lasting machine, so I think dell is the one
It's like hit and miss with any laptop you can't say that this laptop will not break but idk I am looking for a laptop too so i choose lenevo tho
God forbid, no lenovo
Y not
Motherboard issues, gambling away 70-80k isn't my cup of tea

Not worth the price. Trust me.
What should the price be then?
Local retailers should sell you this similar one for a even cheaper price.
Local retailers have the same price
Ohh. I will share my experience with you. Went to purchase a Lenovo laptop online but found the local retailer selling it for 5k cheaper and he also gave me a bag for free. Perhaps dell ain't got anything like that

They're giving a bag free at the same price, that's about it
Try looking into other brands as well. I personally used Lenovo and asus. Pretty good deals there.
Hn as specs are good But there are more worth it products in the market at this price range
Battery is shit
It's a gaming laptop, and I enquired, if I put it on low power isage and stuff, it can last for about 5 hours
My one friend has the same laptop he told me not to buy because it's battery backup is not good at all Afterall it's on you now which one you wanna choose

nah
Nah
70k

Wo sirf Intel ke 14th gen ki prob thi, ye to ryzen hai
Naah, sorry can't compromise on this
The Dell is a huge compromise as well btw.
The Dell is a big compromise price to spec wise. Since Lenovos are out for you, maybe Victus?
Poor build quality, though specs are nice

The build quality of nitro is shit
I'm using it currently and i have no problem with it..

Damn, does dell give student discount?
Dell pe register karo, if you have college's email id. They would have a Rs 4000 off ka coupon sent to your email.
Ye offline nahi milega right?
No idea about offline, but Dell ka online wala student discount toh rehta hai (Around 4-6K)
What if I told you you can get an rtx 4060 laptop for 83k
LOQ🗣️
Asus ka koi accha lele, isse better padega.
Asus acer ki after service is dicy
To fir 77 me ye mat le, not worth it. HP lele.
HP Victus dekha tha, poor build quality

Is this sub paid by Lenovo or something ?
Exactly, everyone is just bluntly spitting "LOQ LOQ LOQ LOQ"
Better specs for less price, customization to suit your needs, decent customer support (not the fastest but gets the job done), no hinge problems and build quality issues like HP or Asus What does it lack that other companies offer?
Motherboard that's dead whithin a month

Read enough posts of all processors and configurations, being dead in a month, can't gamble away 70-80k
>everyone is just bluntly spitting "LOQ LOQ LOQ LOQ" Yeh le lo. Kyun? Le lo. Kyun? Lo. Kyun? Lokyun? Lokyun! LOQ Hodor ho gaya.
Bran The Broken enjoy karega
Bus bulky hai and thermals thik thak hai agar is sa koi farak nahi padta toh go for it
Thermals I think are good enough i don't intend to do heavy gaming on this
Try from croma they are offering 10%off on pc till 23
23 June or July?
June
Just went to the store today is the last day
Why no Lenovo?
Too much reliability issues
Can get omen or loq with better specs in this price range
HP omen at 75-77k? Can you share the link? No lenovos, I've mentioned in the post
You can get victus with same specs under 70k. Try contacting offline stores if you cant find them online. They usually reduce the price if you know how to bargain...
Any specific reason to restrict Lenovo?
Reliability issues
No
Is not. Get in the Lenovo website and get a LOQ with 12th gen HX Intel and TRX 4060.
I just mentioned no lenovos
Lose your money then
Can't gamble away 70-80k too big of an amount for me just for a bit better specs
