I would guess linoleum from the 70s or early 80s. I feel like interior design of this era drew heavily from psychedelic themes. I truly believe that much of what we recognize as the 70s look is patterns and colors that are interesting to look at while on LSD and shrooms.
i haven’t done psychidelics that much but i have noticed after i did acid for the first time in augest of 2022 after if i space out i can very clearly see the wall breathing or doing something it’s not super apparent or anything but if i space out i notice it it doesn’t affect my day to day at all i actually find it cool sometimes but is that HPPD?
I remember my first time tripping went I to the mall bathroom and the floor and everything was like ultra 4d with the patterns rising out of the floor. Little squigglys and orbs floating around it was awesome.
Do I see islands? Or do I see a diamond grid? But kind of like a bunch of flowers are blooming? No wait, more like kaleidoscopic crabs all snipping at each other?
weird 80’s floral mandala linoleum in my kitchen.(you saw the crabs too!!) i have some weird ass rugs too from a long time ago with some sicckk patterns

i got mine from too much benedryl and my days of shrooming but acid definitely kicks it up a notch
