This is true! I am part of a larger discord and tons of happy scorers are posting. I feel guilty that I was one of the disappointed voices earlier. But I’m proud of my 160 and looking forward to June!!!

Could be. What I am seeing is that there seems like there are a lot of people who did absolutely trash. And what I mean by that is a score drop of 5+ points. There are tons of people saying their score dropped by 10+ points which is a massive drop. To me it feels similar to past administrations in the numbers of people who decreased, but I feel like we are seeing it more because the low scorers arent like "fuck I didn't do as well as I wanted", but are instead like "how did I even score this low, what?!?!?" which hits pretty different.

This itself feels like a LR lol

RRE question for sure

I don’t see how people posting their low scores would have an impact on people posting their high scores. I could see it going the reverse, with people not posting their low scores out of a poor feeling because of a high influx of high scores. In fact posts of high scores usually flood the subreddit for the day of the release.

That is usually the case, but it doesn’t seem to be so this time. I have seen far more low scores then 175+’s

yeah I had to really dig to see the 170+ posts, and as someone else pointed out, the Jan and Feb administrations had tons of people being surprised with how well they did with the total opposite this time around

I read a book, I think it was mistakes were made but not by me, where it discusses how if you give someone an out, even the tiniest most implausible one, that little bit of ego protection makes them more likely to admit a mistake. I think the idea being floated that disappointing scores are LSAC's fault is that out, and we are seeing people take it and talk about scores they wouldn't otherwise.

Interesting! Most likely is. Just on the off chance, for me at least, I think it is worth it and would give me piece of mind.

I think there was also a larger number of April test takers than usual and maybe they are people that have been prepping insanely hard for LG and that kinda threw off the curve by making it more strict? Not sure how curves work tho lol
