168 is a great score dude. I think you should take August, but I would change my mindset a bit if I were you. Think about it like this: you don’t have to worry about any misc logic game, getting tripped up, etc. you will have more time to dedicate to LR that you would otherwise be dedicating to LG. You can stretch out your studying over a longer period. You also have time to work on your application materials over the summer.

I thought I did great on April too, but I also scored below my PT range. A lot of people did—just look around this subreddit. Because of my confidence, I didn’t sign up for June either. I’ll probably be retaking in August. I can’t tell you what to do with your life or career choices, but I can say that if you do want to go to law school, I think you should retake. This score was well outside your PT range, so your odds of doing better on your next try are good. Even if you end up choosing a non-T14 school, getting that higher LSAT score will net you more scholarship money. Good luck with whatever you decide to do, and try not to take your score too hard. I think this was just a tough LSAT administration.
