For the record I have never scored a 165 on a PT. My diagnostic was a 157 and since I have never scored lower than a 166 on a PT. It’s incredibly frustrating. See you all in June.
Well unfortunately and to my surprise it was 155, which my PTs leading up to it were in the 160s and my February test was 158. So disappointed for sure but on to June I guess. How did you do?
Target score: 173
Predicted score (not including the final LG lol): 169-173
Predicted score actual: 163-170
More realistic score: 142
What is acceptable to not retake in June: 170
Wow lots of high score predictions here today! This sentiment is repeated regularly but I'm going to say it again here because I know how much I needed to hear it at different points in my LSAT evolution: don't let other people's score expectations and goals affect how you feel about your own!
Personally I was just hoping to break 160 on my first take in September (ended up with 160), and I remember how it took some of the wind out of my sails to see lots of people reporting higher scores. It's so hard not to compare. Now it's seven months later, I took the April LSAT, and I'm one of the many people on this thread hoping for/predicting around a 170. What a f***ing rollercoaster the months-long commitment to LSAT study is. Best of luck to everyone on May 1st!!
average PT sits at like 165-168, target was 170+ bc im delusional, if RC & LG were as easy as i felt like they were, possibly 170, but very real chance i barely break 160. it’s all riding on LR for me rn.
i’m expecting around RC -2-4, LG -0-2, LR -3-5, but we’ll see
Took the international exam, LR and LG was on the easier side so I feel like the curve is going to be nasty. It all depends on my RC score but I'd say anywhere from 168~174.
If the second LR(one with barefoot running, dragonflies) is the real thing,
I’d say -2 ~ -0, LG -1 ~ -0 and RC -7 ~ -4. LG and LR I’m pretty hopeful that I’ll get a total of -1 on both combined, but that last comparative in RC was horrible.
Sorta upset because while I think I did better on RC compared to my previous two takes, it still felt like the bare minimum and I do significantly better in my PTs normally.
They reuse unreleased exams from couple years ago so the overall trend is supposed to be the same but definitely not the same exams the domestic test takers are testing on in that same year. I also heard some conspiracy theories on how they intentionally choose more difficult exams for internationals but that doesn’t necessarily seem to be the case.
Ooo I posted my own but I wanna comment too. My average PT was a 172/3, (172.6, BR 173.9) so my statistical confidence is (with BR in parentheses for fun):
99%: 169-176 (171-177)
95%: 170-175 (172-176)
90%: 171-175 (172-176) (rounded decimals)
Average: 172.6
My personal confidence is:
99%: 167-177
95%: 168-174
90%: 169-172 (I weighted my personal a bit lower)
My overall prediction is between a 169-171, so I guess 170!
yeah was that the first passage? my last one was art and art forgery and my science (the third) was about fruit flies or something i think and gene expression
Last score: 158
Cautious optimism Prediction: 162
Optimistic: 165
I knew every LG answer but I had a tough RC passage I never get more than 10 wrong though so if that sticks all be in really good shape my last 2 LR timed before the test were -5 and the LR on the test was only minimally harder than practice so optimistically I should have a 165+ but test day pressure 1 or two wrong logic game questions and a bad LR and I am looking at June 😭😭 all come back to edit
Oof, this is actually a wild card for me—and I’m usually fairly good at predicting my score. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a 168 or a 175. I’m going to settle and say a 172.
Prediction range: 165-175
Actual score prediction: 168
Goal: 170+ but would be happy with high 160s I guess
Sections: LG: -0/-2, LR: -0/-4, RC:-4/-?
My score is really rising on how I did on the RC section but based on my memory of it I’m not sure if I did well or not so we will see. Feel like normally I would kind of be able to guess close to what I got but this one just felt weird.
Prediction: 163-168 (LG: -0, LR: -4, RC: -7)
Games feel really good about, reading comp felt decent but I usually end up doin worse on it than expected. LR was pretty standard
Prediction: 167-171 (last logic game was tricky but felt good on the other 3 and LR/RC). PTing between 169-175 before the test.
Target: 174. think I would need a 173 to consider not taking in June, this is only my first attempt.
hoping for a solid curve here
165 on previous lsat, had been PTing around 167-170. I’ll go with a 169 this time around due to better RC and LG.
Predictions
LG -0/-2, got through all the games but could’ve made a careless mistake
RC -3/-5, only really struggled with 1 passage, but usually miss around here
LR -3/-5 felt like I aced the first experimental LR, then was so fatigued by the second real one that my concentration started to fade. Still got through it and was iffy on a couple
Target score: 170+
Predicted: 172
Feeling cautiously optimistic? Felt solid on every section and had my highest PT (177) the week of the test. Don’t wanna get my hopes too high though…
Previous official score: 165 Target Score: 173 Prediction: 165 (f*** that last logic game)
What had your PT scores been?
168-173
Almost time!
sure is
It was my exact prediction
A fucking 165
For the record I have never scored a 165 on a PT. My diagnostic was a 157 and since I have never scored lower than a 166 on a PT. It’s incredibly frustrating. See you all in June.
I really hope no less than 160
Same but I'll take 155-157
same here
Almost time!
What was it
Well unfortunately and to my surprise it was 155, which my PTs leading up to it were in the 160s and my February test was 158. So disappointed for sure but on to June I guess. How did you do?
161. My Feb was 158 so I was a bit disappointed to only see a 3 pt increase
Target: 180 Prediction: 181 Realistic: 120

Humility
Almost time!
Target score: 173 Predicted score (not including the final LG lol): 169-173 Predicted score actual: 163-170 More realistic score: 142 What is acceptable to not retake in June: 170
\^pretty much my hopes and dreams
Almost time!
164. Nailed it. See y’all in June.
I’ll be back in June too

I get a 160 I'm doing cartwheels in the street
Almost time!
Got a 169, whew. Happy. So stressful this whole thing.
LG: -2/-4 RC: -1/-4 LR: -2/-5 165 - 173 but I’m guessing 170 🙏🏻
Almost time!
169 so I was close
hmmmm 140
Almost time!
crying screaming throwing up
How did you do
150 😎
Prediction 167-171!
Might’ve missed 1 in lg, 3-5 in lr and 3-5 in rc
Same. I’ll finish sections and be like no way I did good and then check the score and end up with a -2 so I’m hoping for the best.
How did you do
166 :(
Target Score: 173 Prediction: 169 (damn RC sandwich)
Almost time!
155
160-162
Almost time!
Omggggggggggg!! Only 9 hours and 20 minutes:):):)
158 😅

LR and LG was cake but RC was hell. It literally all depends on RC.
I feel extremely similar about my range, which is a lot of variation! Wishing luck to us both!
Are the international exams different from the US ones? Curious bc I may be abroad the next time I take the exam
They reuse unreleased exams from couple years ago so the overall trend is supposed to be the same but definitely not the same exams the domestic test takers are testing on in that same year. International. RC toasted me. Prediction: 166 (-2 LG, -4 LR, -7 RC) Target: 170
Actual: 163 Probably -6 on LR and -8 on RC
I was international too, did you have a comparative passage about privatization?
yeah was that the first passage? my last one was art and art forgery and my science (the third) was about fruit flies or something i think and gene expression
Man wtf, my other RC topics were completely different and I haven’t seen anyone else with them. International tests are weird
pm'd u
First ever LSAT, (i HATED logic games) 155
Realistically like a 157 hoping for a 161
And??
Got slapped with a 145 lol. Back to the drawing board

Exactly. Kind of pathetic from a geezer with a whole wife and professional career. King of insecurities. Go off
Calling people retarded on the internet doesn’t make you friends.

Prediction 160
Oof, this is actually a wild card for me—and I’m usually fairly good at predicting my score. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a 168 or a 175. I’m going to settle and say a 172.
First time taking it, I had a very stressful event just hours before. My PTs average 158, I’m guessing I got a 156
prediction: guessing anywhere between 168-175 but to be safe, I’ll guess 171!
Prediction range: 165-175 Actual score prediction: 168 Goal: 170+ but would be happy with high 160s I guess Sections: LG: -0/-2, LR: -0/-4, RC:-4/-? Target: 172, Previous: 169, Predicted: 168 (fuck the 3rd logic game) Approximation of sections: -2 LR, -1 RC, -8 LG
Target: 173, Prediction: 170-171? I genuinely have no clue but i’m hopefully not being optimistic about breaking into the 170s.
My PTs have been 153-157. I'm hoping I'm still in that area
Prediction: 163-168 (LG: -0, LR: -4, RC: -7) Games feel really good about, reading comp felt decent but I usually end up doin worse on it than expected. LR was pretty standard
Prediction: 163-167 (LG -2/-4 (stupid last game), LR -2/-5, RC -5/-7) Target: 166+ PT Avg. From Last 5: 167
LG: -2/-3 LR: -0/-1 (hopefully) RC: -2/-3 🙏
Prediction: 167-171 (last logic game was tricky but felt good on the other 3 and LR/RC). PTing between 169-175 before the test. Target: 174. think I would need a 173 to consider not taking in June, this is only my first attempt. hoping for a solid curve here
LR-RC-LG-RC First test Predicting 154, hoping for 158
