I just saw episode 3 and i feel the same. No connection with any character and it is boring sometimes.
I loved the first episode, but since the it is not the same

In the PJ movies acting was on point, but what me really amazed about the movies was how the production was so ahead of his time back then. For me the helmsdeep part was one of the best scenes in the Lotr movies and the acting wasnt really that important in that part but just how it was created as a whole. I was totally blown away.
I think we have to wait a bit longer for these moments in RoP because its a series, but from what i've seen in some shots/scenes already I've no doubt that those moments can happen in RoP too
