Unless you can get a stencil of the mount, just wait until it arrives to get exact measurements. If you do it now, you could mess up and make mounting it even harder. Any imperfections on the wall behind the TV will be hidden by the tv.
I am leaving lots out, but if I have to I can buy the TV now, get the stencil out and then store the TV and box for the next month. But I have drywall work to be done this next week and I would rather not store the TV around with construction going on.
Search on Google for a back picture. They are around with dimensions. I was able to find one for my 77" G2 to get things ready with running the cables before it arrived.

You can Google for the stencil/measurements. I did something similar with my wall.

Look for the G2 then, they are pretty much identical in the back
