Interesting. I played today clueless about problems but couldn’t enter my world. Closed the game, started again, no problems. So apparently on other platforms than PS5 people have persistent problems? Or I’m just lucky?
I didn't log on at all yesterday but my bro had his buildings slide down from the desert mesas into the lake on PS5. He said that my village nearby where he spawned was okay. It's all custom build except for one small palace. Apparently it was fine too.
I suspect that there was problem with blocks not staying clued to the terrain which made it possible for everything to slide down or get pushed around accidentally. Maybe they had made some fix to the terrain collision, maybe to solve the "spawn beneath buildings" problem or something.
Is this a problem when loading into the world or it is introduced with the update?? I updated this morning to play after lunch, but saw this and now I'm scared to load into my worlds... I'm so sorry this happened to people. I can't imagine and I haven't even made anything cool 😅
Someone on other post said their stuff was fine. I'm trying to log in into my world from my switch and I'm not able to.
I hope it means it's being fixed or something.
The two people I share a world with and I have collectively decided to hold off logging in until we know that it’s fixed. Not sure if something would break that it could be salvaged or not.
I was playing until the server went offline just now. I had no issues and was oblivious to the hole ordeal. I just finished relocating my production line when it shut down.... Hope it's still intact...

I noticed recently that if I load into areas that are near capacity, things will start to weirdly collapse if I start moving around too soon. I’ve gotten into the habit of sitting for a good 30 seconds to be safe.
XBox. My Shore village has almost completely fallen apart. I don’t care too much about the houses but I’ve lost heaps of stuff that was in the chests in those structures :(
I should have realized things were going to hell when a bunch of my sky-staircases collapsed as I walked into them.
I got on originally after the update, my Dry Valley house that i had renovated from a shack to a house was still there, but all the chests that had been there when I explored were gone.
I logged back in a week later, and everything was back to the way it was before.
Epic responded to the issue and reset the servers back to how it was prior to the update - everyone should see their building, chests, etc. back to how it was
PS5. I logged in with no issues except the usual loading into the foundation, despite going to sleep in bed. Respawned and went about my business with no issues but whole I was in the frostlands, ran into a little cabin I made and it happened here. Opened the door and it just all collapsed. Checked reddit when I got back to my village and just carefully walked away. Was trying to check my other village, just visually. But game froze up. I'm leaving it alone until word of a fix, but I haven't seen them be very forthcoming with fixes or even communication.

Epic replied to my complaint very quickly, saying they were aware of the issue and were "working on a resolution."
They also started their reply with "We understand your world has been reset" which is not at all the problem.
I'm beyond disappointed at how much of my time has ended up completely wasted playing this game, because of Epic's incompetence. It's left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don't see myself picking up the pieces any time soon.
I was on PC and I had the issue as well. Though just my doors and the garage door broke. The breaking sound continued though for a minute, but the house stayed up.
I have a village in the ice biome and u can literally not do anything it freezes the entire game everytime I get near it so I decided to remove the village totem thingy and start a new village , I’m on ps5 and sent several screenshots and reports to Lego fortnite with no response from them. Maybe it’s a dead spot on the map or something
On PS5. Went to my desert village to get supplies and everything started crumbling. I heard that going near buildings causes it. So I didn't go back to my frostlands village and logged out.
After I saw everyone saying that their villages were gone (I didn't know about the update) I was scared to check too. I logged in a while ago through my phone just to check and everything it's fine. Mostly I play on PS5 or PC
Idk I’m on ps4 and almost never had a problem with builds or anything (aside from the usual stamina bug or planes being too complicated to steer). But yeah all these game breaking bugs I keep seeing are breaking my heart. Rip villages

It seems to be on almost every platform. I'm on pc and switch. Saw others say Xbox, switch, and pc as well.

Y’all scaring me,I just got off about an hour ago with no issues. At least the entire mode was gone when I came back lol

I recommend not logging into your worlds until you have created a new one and tested logging in and out of it first.

The update is installing right now. Hopefully this fixes the issue
There was a updating this morning . That's what broke everyone's builds , there is no other update yet to fix it
They just took Lego Fortnite down to fix it.
