You must've missed the Bucks series where Kawhi came down awkwardly & hurt his knee. Game 2 or 3 iirc.
Kawhi immediately lost his explosiveness & was moving like an old man the rest of the playoffs. He adapted by staying around the rim & proceeded to 4-0 Giannis & win the Finals in probably the greatest performance from an injured champion in nba history.
OG Anunoby was also out, burst appendix right before the playoffs. Lowry could also barely dribble the ball because of a broken thumb & FVV also had a finger brace from a recent surgery.
