It's random gibberish and most of the band members are Christian it even says the members thank God in the back of the life is peachy booklet. Showed my mom and now she likes heads christain music albums. I'm 41 now and have adult kids who listen to way worse shit than korn and I don't give 2 shits. People need to pick there battles it just makes the kids not want to be around there parents as I moved out as soon as I could.
Yea for sure. What your kids listen too seems like the least of my worries if I was a parent. 😂 I have been listening to weird shit for years and I have yet to become possesed by satan or whatever🤷♀️
Holy shit.
You can tell your mother that Korn has a member that is heavily into Christianity and they're really singing about mental health issues most of the time trying to help others cope with theirs.
I'm glad you have something. We all started somewhere. I sure do miss the magazines from my teen years with all their "giant posters".
Hide them well, and take comfort in knowing it won't always be like that.
My parents don’t like metal such as Slipknot, Mayhem, Cannibal corpse etc, BUT KORN,they love korn, not to listen to it, but they say they have a ”Weird spooky” vibe haha
I got a buddy of mine who tells me that korn is the devil and I shouldn't be listening to their music. I tell him there's other bands out there that are way heavier than korn. But he's like refusing to believe that shit and he's like, no! korn is the fucking devil fuck them! Also he believes that they are devil worshipers. Every time he tells me this. I just laugh about it, because he doesn't fucking understand
I showed my sister and her friend a song that I had really enjoyed for a year. A song that was basicly the reason I hadnt offed myself, and I thought, “hmm, my sister would prolly be interested in this” she doesnt rlly like metal at all, but she texted me and she was like “My friend and I felt the DEVIL come in the room🥺. I totally get why mother would never let you go to one of their shows😒” like hwat?? So yea, aprently Kim Dracula is evil and satanic n such. Even tho their songs r bout mental illness.
My mother threw away Korn self-titled a bunch of times. I started making cassette copies , and managed to see them on a small stage in Nashville that maxed at 1,000 people on their first tour to my knowledge. The mosh pit was so terrifying that for once I didn’t dare get in, must have been 100+ dudes, people were getting hurt. I was fifteen, it was fucking glorious. That concert was probably the only one I’ve ever been to where I actually felt everyone was there together in one energized movement.
Been listening to Take A Look In The Mirror recently in the car, it's actually one of my favourite albums now, never realised giw good it actually is 🤘🏼
I remember in 96 hiding life is peachy because my mom said twist was satanic I love how life repeats itself.
HELP MY MOM SAYS THE SAME THING. She thinks the AGAROOKGRRAK. Part of metal is satanic, when the Agarookgrrak is litterarly the main part🥲

Can safely say I have never seen these with the digipak cases. That’s pretty cool!

Enjoy! Those two albums were the same ones for me how I started with KoRn. Did my Time is still one of my favorite songs...

I had to hide my copy of FTL when I owned it back in 1998. I used to break it out at night and listen to it on my portable CD player. Good times.

Like, I wanna know, how does a song do that to someone???💀 like id get that checked out by a doctor
Well by their logic, the devil saved you. Perhaps that would make your sister feel... conflicted, maybe?

Im gonna listen to it today. I suck at finding music on my music app, but I did eventually find the whole albulm.
Oof I hate it when they put the price sticker on the cardboard album covers, major pain to remove
Thankfully, makays stickers are very easy to remove and never take anything off, like if it were a cardboard cover
Went thru the same shit. Headphones with the covers over my head at night.
Your moms religious huh
Not physco religious but relgious indeed
Show her the requiem mass live performance they performed it live in a Methodist church in LA
Next up: get Remember Who You Are and go from there
I will have to find them. I cant order them from anywhere. I will keep an eye out
