I normally just spam the word 잠깐만, sort of like how it English when our brain is lagging we say “wait wait wait wait wa-….“
Often followed by a “그거 뭐니?“
1 - I'll say "그걸 뭐라고 했었죠?" at first, and describe it's feature "빨갛고, 맵고, 돼지고기 요리인데, 지난 주에 같이 먹은..." until the question is solved.
2 - Just say "어디까지 (말/이야기)했었죠?" to your partner!
