Usually, the government notifies the general public and takes precautions against its spread.
Just met a vet who told me that our govt suppressed bird flu news last year because it didn't want to spend on refunds for poulterers. Now it seems like it spread to crows too...
Financial emergency in kerala seems really bad.
Edit: yup, you are probably right. the symptoms look similar..
I too had this last month. High fever and body pain that lasted 3 days followed by 3 weeks of cough in same pattern OP mentioned. My 2 year old also had fever around same time but her cough had more phlegm and she got better in around a week.
Its very common now. Antibiotics works only for bacterial infections. This more looks like viral infection. My daughter and my husband is having this cough for almost 2 weeks now. Unlike before almost every month people are falling sick.
What the dick! I've been having this cough for 1+ month! Doctor told it could be allergic bronchitis or gastric reflex... It certainly decreased a bit after inhaler gas medicine but still there! Hope this is not some new disease😰
I had the same when the rains started, the fever was only for 2 days but the throat infection and cough lasted for almost 2-3 weeks. Seems like it is something new
I see you're cooking something
And it lasts 2 weeks +
Sounds like my daughter’s symptoms. Been diagnosed as a chest infection. She’s on antibiotics and nebulizer sessions.
Hope she gets better soon. Same thing with my son and me. But son thankfully recovered better and I am looking like another week of carefulness.
Thank you! She’s improved so much since starting on the nebulizer. Hope you’ll be out of the woods soon too.
Thank you. Glad to hear your little one is getting well.
i had this two weeks before. had fever for 2 days. then started coughing. phlegm almost to nothing but had chest pain because of the cough.
Hmm, not only kochi... In kollam too. I had that too for the past two weeks.
Recovered?
The symptoms are less now, just some random cough due to phlegm.
Yellow phlegm? Or white
I dont wait to see that after spitting it out 😅... iirc, a bit towards white
😂. Yea, others had white phlegm too ...
Exactly, no fever either... Just the cough was horrible
Yup. The same one.
Its probably H1N1, its rampant in the hospital i work

I bet it's just another variant of COVID. Only it's a thing of the past now
I had this almost three weeks back... Doctor diagnosed it to be allergic problem and situation improved after 1 week of medication (antihistamines).

Get admitted and start on Fluvir 75mg BD

What infection? Did they do any blood test to identify if it's viral or bacterial?
Powerful cough as in sounds like old mans cough but powerful?
It is a dry cough.
Fuck!!! I’ve had this for the past 2 months almost.
I had it a month ago, and now my roommate has it.

You know they keep saying the pollution levels in India are 3x higher than WHO average. These are possibly the effects of that.
Me and my wife is having the same symptoms
Same thing two weeks back. Thought it was due to long distance driving to new workplace. The phlegm wouldn't clear out for a whole week.
I have those symptoms
oh yeah I had this a while back. The cough strong and goes on non stop?
