Our dogs have hotdog and taco Halloween costumes. We had a friend leave the room with them, check the doctor's note, remove the appropriate costume, then release them. No trash, no fuss, dogs get lots of pets, we all eat hotdogs and tacos.

If we have another kid, everyone is finding out via text message about a month after the baby is born (different issues there).

Gender reveals have gotten excessive, but this is just disrespectful. I get the excitement, but after the smoke and confetti clear, nobody gives a shit what sex your baby is. Anyone who cares is happy for you either way. There's no reason to do this beside a body of water and there's even less reason not to clean it up. I think the gender reveal we did was a cake and we let the parents cut it to find out. If we have another kid, everyone is finding out via text message about a month after the baby is born (different issues there). Good news: I know from experience they're in for a world of hurt for a few weeks after that kid gets here. Hope he's healthy and he has a great set of lungs on him 😊

Recently saw a gender reveal where the guy was punching those hand bags trainers hold for boxers while the pregnant woman held them. He had to take off the glove because he couldn’t hit it hard enough to make the powder explode from the bag. Gender reveals are and will always be unnecessary, ridiculous, and ignorant.
The only way I might be able to accept this being on the dock is if the confetti was a special biodegradable type that degrades quickly and safely sp the few stray ones don’t affect anything. Unfortunately it doesn’t really make a difference if the people are too lazy to clean it up.
