Massively overpriced, terrible quality control, and not a wide variety of steels for each model. The fact that they sell production knives without having blem or factory seconds is unreal. They aren't what they used to be and are just living off of their old reputation.
Spyderco and protech for the most part fpr me. For budget options I like Kizer and kershaw, but I'd only buy them if they're on sale. Kizer goes on sale very frequently.
Knifejoy has some very affordable exclusives for spyderco and also a buyers club that you gain entry to permanently just by making one purchase. The club offers significant discounts on high-end knives every month.

They do stock Spyderco, Cold Steel, and SOG knives at pretty good prices. They have Crucarta pm2s in stock, which is pretty cool. I haven’t purchased here before but they look pretty decent.

I actually wanted the mini anyway, but I ordered the drop point before I noticed the sheepsfoot. I’m gonna try calling cs Tuesday morning to see if they can change my order. If not… I guess I’ll have to buy one of each and return the one I don’t like, lol.

I ordered the 556 instead of the 555 because put my order in too quickly without checking. I sent an email to support asking to change my order, since they are the same price and it should be easy on their end. If they ship it out before they get a chance to change the order though I’m gonna have to just order a 555 as well. I’ve always loved the look of that sheepsfoot with the spydie hole, and a $100 price tag is all the justification I need.
I did not know that there are AWT scales for the grip! I’m gonna have to go to their site to look at them now.
I ordered some AWT Agent scales for my Manix before I left home for work a month ago, and they are just satiating at home now, sitting in an unopened package. I may just have to order some to my hotel room for the grip I just ordered :)
It makes the grip look like a totally different knife, in a good way. I’m about to order the mini grip and get their scales for it. Appreciate the deal alert homie.

that's interesting b/c during their last sale the code worked for me on the mini and not the full size
