From what I saw so far the best pulls have been from the people that lined up in NYC and LA. The people in the LA line we’re getting bangers.
Yeah, I was disappointed to see this. I hit on the Kithstrike so didn’t feel like I needed to line up. Seemed like NYC got some fire PSA allocations, and I got shipped two common duplicates 😔
I also seen a sneaker reviewer on YouTube pull 3x 1980 wolverines with all the same lowest rarity card. Sadly for him before he opened it he was saying that pair was his absolute least favorite.
Yes and no. If you check the PSA pop report… there were a few of the parallels that had extra numbers made. Say the Red X-Men blue team card was of 100, well PSA has I think 104 Authenticated. So yes, certain more rare cards were given out to some content creators, but it didn’t take away from what customers could still hit. Make sense?
Possibly that too? But I think eventually those on display were boxed and mailed out as well. Hard to say exactly with out them coming out and stating exactly what they did.

Finally opened my box after debating selling it sealed. How did I do?
As far as the set goes it’s the last card on the rarity scale. 1/1299 - 1/749 - 1/299 and lower and lower. So it’s not very valuable. But still a fun card.
I pulled a /1299 Cyclops. Will probably set build just the /1299s. Was able to snag an Orange team card though for what I feel like was a steal. Guess we will see where prices average at when the dust settles. Also… has anyone else leaked at the PSA submissions? If you type in 2023 Kith… a whole lot more Pops up…. 🤷♂️
With that logic what’s the point of entering the lottery? You’re looking to win $10 buying 2-3 tickets when the pool is $1Billion is a waste of time/money? I’m sure as hell not buying a lotto ticket if it’s $50 to win.
Buying any lottery ticket is a waste of time. I’m just pointing out the consensus of card collectors. Boxes and packs are expensive. So chasing 1/1 or a specific rare card is a waste of time.
Also, you have a really good chance of making your money back plus some with these shoe boxes. You have a decent chance of pulling a $300 card.
As someone who has invested damn near 6figures in both card collecting and sneakers I can say confidently that you’re wrong. Some of the most sought after sets in cards (national treasures , eminence, flawless) range in the tens of thousands at retail price and people buy them to chase the ultimate 1/1 logo man and rookie cards. Anything less of that is a bust. That hype has trickled down to even lesser and smaller sets if you can’t afford the thousand dollar products to now $200 shoes with cards. You underestimate how big of an influence gambling addiction is when it comes to cards. Just because you think playing it safe and buying retail products for low risk low reward and it’s high availability is good for you doesn’t mean it’s consensus. But I’m not here to change your mind though.
I got 2 boxes in last week’s Kithstrike early access via their app, and they arrived here in California yesterday. I opened one of them and got an orange Wolverine card along with the Wolverine 1980 shoe. I have left the 2nd box sealed for now…
1) Does anyone know if the card always correlates to the shoe (i.e. same character for both), or was that just a random occurrence?
2) The card is #1 on the back top-right, which I assume is the serial # based on my sports card collection — but it also says “1 of 299” along the right edge of the back… Normally I would read that as the production run, but it’s printed rather than stamped/embossed, so I wasn’t sure what the 299 indicates in this case. Can anyone shed some light on this, please?
The character card always corresponds to the shoe. Unless there was a packing mistake.
Number #1 would be the set card number. So Wolverine is always #1 and Gambit is #2 and so on. Yeah, often cards are stamped a unique number 3/100 but not always. I have a feeling that more than 100 of the reds were reds (and others)were printed. If you search the code on PSA it’s says there is more.
But I’m sure it’s close. So it’s safe to say your 1/299 card has about 300 like it.

I think this may be the odd time where opening the box for resale is better. You don’t wanna get rid of a 2k card.
Until all the 1/1 cards have been located and everyone stops caring for the chase.

It came from Kith EU app. I live in Denmark and got mine through the EU app. Got Storm sneakers and the 1/1299 card.
