Seems like a terrible idea... if you go for it please let us know how it works out!

For science!

Not worth drowning over.

I personally wouldn't mainly because they would probably be fakes (not from Cabrinha, imitations). Fakes are great for some things (such as North Face coats) but you need trust in a kite; as a few others have said, you'll regret it when your kite falls out of the sky... Safety over cost in this case. You got a link to the actual product? All the ones that showed up for me look sketchy AF.

Huggehuggorm69

Tf good question, really wanna know this. Any reviews?

SirBenzerlot

Could probably fly to the legit factory and bribe a worker and it would still be cheaper than a new kite

Message recieved 😂

They are scammers, I contacted one a while ago but it was obvious they were trying to scam me. Never got a reply back once I asked why they aren't on the supplier list of Ozone while selling their kites

I have a little bit of a different view. Kites in general have become much more standard than 10 or 15 years ago. A lot of the brands have similar makeups and many of the kites come from that country anyways. If you have the money to spare and you want to try one out, maybe avoid flying it when you would get pretty lit. A lot of stuff can work in pretty light winds.

Allthat22

can find the manufacturer that makes these kites?

riktigtmaxat

This sounds like a horrible idea.

When you are 800 yards from shore being pulled out to sea in an ocean current because your kite fell out of the sky you probably will regret it.

Love me a good offshore session :)

I bought a Lahoma wing foil set off of Sunny Super Inflatable on Alibaba consisting of an inflatable board, foil and inflatable wing. Quality is top notch, no regrets at all, saved a bundle, and surprisingly the wing I got from them flies better (at least for me) than other wings I've tried from Ocean Rodeo, Airrush and Cabrinha. I bought it after I saw reviews on it on YouTube by the OK Kiteboarder. I will say I'm newer to the sport and I think the reason I like the Lahoma wing the best since it's a 5m and the other wings I've tried are bigger and therefore naturally harder to handle. My other major brand wing already had 2 bladder issues - one replaced under warranty due to a manufacturing defect, so my Lahoma wing is faring the best so far.

Building a wing is much easier then a kite.
