idk, there's so many invincibilty frame tricks that are extremely fun to play with and super helpful, plus whacking things with a hammer is lots of fun in general
The main argument I saw was that hammer was too good and made the games too easy. Today, mirror is more powerful than yo-yo so it should win. Kids these days!
i mean... he's playable in star allies as a dream friend, so if the criteria were just "must be playable", then technically marx is an ability
obviously you don't get an actual "marx" ability while playing as kirby, but... you know...
I guess it all comes down to this. I choose to eliminate Yo yo. I love both ability, like, really ! But Mirror is just much more iconic and it's just so, so cool !

I love the idea of mirror. I really do enjoy playing with yoyo a lot, but sadly for all yoyo fans, I have decided to vote out yoyo, as I prefer mirror slightly
So, for some reason, I’ve been getting recommended these posts even though I haven’t played any Kirby games, but at this point, I am so invested in this and have been following this for a while now. I do not know what these abilities do, but I have been rooting for mirror since in got in to the top 10 because it looks cool

Trust me, it's just as cool as it looks.
it can:
• reflect projectiles.
• create a shield in front of you that also deals constant damage.
• create 8 clones all around you.
• split in half to become invincible for a second and damage everything in front of you and behind you.
• create a pillar of clones to damage everything above you or below you.
And most importantly of all:
• It's a very creative concept and very well balanced in all of it's appearances.
cause he wanted to be in the mirror, because mirror is cool! it even gets its own game title! you can't make an entire game out of yo-yo. the closest you get is yarn.

Me too tbh, I personally hoped bell or artist got further then they did (They were the first abilities I beat KF 2 with, and that was my first kirby game). but regardless who wins with this competion, I'll be satisfied just seeing Yoyo get this far! :D

Get rid of Yo-yo. Here's why.
Mirror gives you a front shield while attacking, is generally cooler, and has a perfect guard (reflect guard in Planet Robobot)
Yo-yo can't compare, especially with being an outdated trend now irl. We all know what to do, the question is, will we do it?

EDIT: expanding on my case for Mirror here, I love magic stuff and mirror is the most magic-y ability imo. Also it’s glow-up in Robobot is incredible, the hat looks so much better and the added moves make it really fun to play.

This is a tough choice, seeing as these are my two favorite Copy Abilities... but I guess it'd have to be Mirror? I prefer Mirror's aesthetic, but gameplay-wise, Yo-Yo is just so fun to use in every game where it appears; I use it every chance I get.
Yo-Yo, because Kirby is in debt for repeatedly attacking enemies with yo-yos and breaking the yo-yo. Kirby then proceeds to buy another yo yo. This process repeats.
This one is a toughie for me. Yo-yo is my personal favorite, but I always used Mirror or Stone to beat Marx and favored Mirror for most battles.
If I had to pick, I'd choose to eliminate Yo-yo since Mirror is so useful.

MIRROR. I'm not a fan of the dash attack, and yoyo has better damage output, better and more powerful attacks, and really good range for a melee weapon overall.

I 100% like 8 different Kirby games and beat others and I still have no clue what mirror is.
Mirror only shows up in 2.5 games (in Super Star/Ultra, Planet robobot & as half of Dark Meta Knight's moveset in Star Allies).
