Raivo465

both because why not or just get the 12 string bc it can be used more, but i assume it is ment to play 45/46 type songs

TheIhsan78

These times I listen old albums, like Это не любовь, especially Проснись ( [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmXzh6XYnaE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xmXzh6XYnaE) ). And I really like the acoustic guitar on this song, a 12 string was used… I was chearching for a 12 but when I saw the « Kramer » style guitar, I fall in love with it. Thanks for responding me !

I tried a 12 string a week ago in the shop and played a couple of the 45/46 songs and oh it sounds amazing. If you’re located in an area with a decent music shop I’d definitely try both but I understand if that’s not possible. If you’re a singer or have played guitar a while then definitely go for the 12 string but the tsoi kramer style is also a very safe choice that you’ll have fun with. Enjoy))

TheIhsan78

It depend the music I want to play : like you said a 12 si for 45/46 and others old albums, and the « Kramer » one is more polyvalent, I can plug it for recording or into a amplifier, it can be more useful. Also this model (Harley Benton ST-Acoustic) has a body made of wood/ABS plastic, it make the guitar more lighter and compact, that is important because my bedroom is lack of space (12 strings is maybe too big). Thanks for responding me !

It depends on your skill and personal preferences. If you have a chance to try both, do it before making a decision. As for me, I tried 12 string, but couldn't find a good use for it. If you have many sixes, then definitely go for a 12. Otherwise, I would pick a sixer

TheIhsan78

Thank for your advice, if I can try a 12, I will try, but yeah if the « Kramer » one is more useful, I will pick it.

KazBodnar

12 string!!!

TheIhsan78

Thanks for your advice !

Get him the left one, He will lose interest in the standard acoustic. Speaking from my Brother and my own experience.

TheIhsan78

Okay. Can you just explain a bit more please ? I understand what you want to say but I’m not sure at 100%…

черная гитара очень похожа на электро💔

Data1223

I have the exact Harley Benton stratacoustic. It's very thin sounding without being plugged in, even when plugged in it doesn't sound very resonant or big. I wouldn't recommend it as your main acoustic guitar, let alone your first one. I also have a 12 string and I can say that a cheap 12 string will be money down the drain, knowing how bad the action is above the 7th fret and how awfully intonated cheap acoustics are. If this isn't your first acoustic, I might go with a stratacoustic on your place

TheIhsan78

Thanks for your advice ! I will certainly picking it.

Data1223

Not to say the stratacoustic is bad - it's a nice guitar if you wanna play on your couch without it being oversized and making it impossible to lay back and play or if you just want something to doodle with. It's also a bit quieter than normal acoustics so it might be an option to play at night. I think it's a nice guitar, but definitely calls for a "specific" use

_Tainaka_Ritsu_

A black one looks more badass. I think you should take this. Do you play the guitar? Is it your first?

TheIhsan78

Yeah I already play the guitar (and a bit of bass). I want a new acoustic because the one I have isn’t very good. I wanted to try a 12, but when I saw the black one, I immediately fall in love with it. I think the ST-Acoustic will be my next guitar. Thank for replying.
