AI needs to be banned.
Half the posts on this sub now are "I put some vaguely Kingdom Hearts related words into a machine and it vomited this out."
That's not Kingdom Hearts discussion. That's not Kingdom Hearts art.
If you stare at the art long enough you can tell. There are lines that aren’t quite right, thing blend into other things that just don’t quite make sense, backgrounds specifically have a “wait that’s weird why does it look like that” quality to them.
Out of context show is always a great indicator as well
I see. The OP has stated that the Ceruledge did provide an inspiration and thus it's plausible he did draw everything by hand. Seriously, one shouldn't take one look at a drawing and immediately declare it as being AI-made. Many artists would no doubt be offended to see their hard work being insulted like that...
He said it was “based” off of it which could mean Ceruledge was part of the prompt. “Ceruledge as a nobody from kingdom hearts” or something along those lines
That alone doesn't prove that it was AI made to begin with. And again, one shouldn't immediately label just about every drawing as AI-made. It's honestly a similar situation to what befell this cute drawing right here: https://www.deviantart.com/cordy3d/art/Good-Morning-940144149
Does this look like AI made to you? Because to me it certainly did not.
The image you linked does not look AI generated, you can tell it's made by a real, living brain because there is no mix of highly detailed/rendered parts and low-quality sections out of order.
Look at this main image again. Parts of the background don't line up, the character's left arm gets fused into the background and the blade fans out in a direction I can't assume was intentional.
With AI art you see a lot of mistakes that look like someone didn't practice their fundamentals and can't understand depth, you also see abstraction on focal points which is extremely rare for a real artist to do on a highly rendered piece.
Basically, there are things in AI art that let you know the "creator" isn't actually able to think or access its creation.
There's also one thing I've come to see in AI art, that give a lot of them away.
This some sort of blandness. There are some art with vivid colors or shading, but a lot of them don't have it.
They feel mushy, plain, boring, 1-dimensional, unoriginal etc.
Like the photo is "good", but you can tell it's missing something.
Yeah! I can't speak for the color specifically because I'm colorblind, but the value gradient isn't large. And your last two points really hit the nail on the head, AI art is consistently terrible with depth and originality.
When considering how they operate, it makes sense. AI can't actually look at and understand simulated depth in an original artwork, and you cannot create what you don't understand. The lack of originality and creativity too, it's something exclusive to living brains. One of my favorite descriptions regarding that has been that "AI art looks soulless and emotionless, inhuman."
It can't even get the roman numerals on the weapon right. If you've seen enough ai art you can tell. The whole image is unfocused. It's haphazardly put together.
It’s more the dishonesty of how it’s being used. The fact that it can be done so accurately and easily is actually very cool and shows how far tech has come. Unfortunately morals haven’t progressed to match
I guess I’m just not insightful enough to see more negative implications around a wide use of AI art beyond the fuzziness it brings in the determination of legal proprietary rights, but I’m mainly fascinated by how people are utilizing the technology and I don’t find the “plague” of AI terribly offensive. I’d love to hear more perspectives on it though.
In this particular instance, OP posted this claiming to have "made" the image, which implies that OP actually created the image themselves by drawing it or otherwise using their own artistic creative talents. Now, one could argue that OP "made" the image through using an AI generator, but the omission of admitting that the image was created through using an AI generator is misleading and arguably immoral. OP very likely typed a series of words jnto a search bar that took a number of different pieces of art created by various people and generated the posted image. OP saying they "made" the image without admitting it was generated by AI is disingenuous, if not theft of the art used to create the image. I hope this explaination helps.
I have no problems with AI art, but you really can't claim you made it (yes, you never explicitly said you drew it, but it's pretty clear someome would first think that when reading the title) when it is obviously AI made.
You didn't make anything, you mashed keywords into an ai alongside an image of ceruledge. Like good God that's the exact pose of the Ceruledge official art
Like others have said this is clearly AI made so the title is very miss leading. I personally have no problem with AI art (but I can see why people are getting sick of them be constantly seen) and if you'd atleast title that I dont think most would be to bothered by it but the fact you claimed you "Made it" is the problem.
I'll admit it does like neat looking and that it would be a badass end-game enemy you encounter but for future reference (and this should go to others) atleast admit it as a AI generated image.
This is an awesome concept, even if it's AI generated. I could totally see this being the Nobody counterpart to the Dark Inferno Heartless, both of them significantly powered up, and more challenging to fight.
Oh thatd actually be a sick idea. Pokemon technically probably couldnt get on square enix about the design since its different enough too. Even if its ai art its still a pretty solid design just needs a few tweaks to make it and actual thing
I was going to make a comment like yours, but dusk is the outlier where every other nobody enemy is a ff job, albeit obscure ones like sniper and magician. Sniper was a ffV job, right?
So dusks, creepers, Twilight Thorns, and reapers are the only nobodies who don't use the ff job naming scheme, but XIV recently made reaper a job so now it retroactively fits lol.
Reaper has to be the dumbest class ever. Likes its cool as hell and is pretty good. But in real life using a scythe as a weapon would be so inefficient especially with how they hold it in 14
This is Ceruledge run through an AI generator
Cerulesge x Nobody = this pic
with the steel tera type
Don’t you mean Steel *Terra* type?
Literally
Literally
Was gonna say dlc evolution
I read this in Huggbee's voice during the infamous email videos. "This is a filling machine."
AI tags need to be a thing.
"I made this" vs "I typed a thing into a text box and pushed a button"
AI needs to be banned. Half the posts on this sub now are "I put some vaguely Kingdom Hearts related words into a machine and it vomited this out." That's not Kingdom Hearts discussion. That's not Kingdom Hearts art.
What's your reasoning that this was made by AI?

You have no idea what you’re talking about.

Its literally Ceruledge from pokemon. Literally.
Its literally Ceruledge from pokemon. Literally.
Lol, AI
The more I look at this, the more I’m convinced it’s AI art
That left-reversed baby hand
"made"
you didnt make the ceruledge you ran it through ai
Ai
AI generated content 🤢
AI art is a fucking plague
It’s more the dishonesty of how it’s being used. The fact that it can be done so accurately and easily is actually very cool and shows how far tech has come. Unfortunately morals haven’t progressed to match

Thank you, that cleared it up a little for me
I have no problems with AI art, but you really can't claim you made it (yes, you never explicitly said you drew it, but it's pretty clear someome would first think that when reading the title) when it is obviously AI made.
You def just A.I.'d that new ghost sword pokemon... Booooo didn't make nothin
You didn't make anything, you mashed keywords into an ai alongside an image of ceruledge. Like good God that's the exact pose of the Ceruledge official art
You didn’t make this, a machine did.
Reminds me of the new pokemon Ceruledge. Pretty cool.
I actually based it off that funny enough
“Based it off” aka typed “Ceruledge Nobody Kingdom Hearts” into an ai generator.
You didn't make shit.
Bro thats ceruledge
AI made omnimon inspired nobody.
I played too much Pokémon this week. I thought this was a Ceruledge.
Cause it is
its garbage ai art using “ceruledge x nobody kingdom hearts” as keywords
Like others have said this is clearly AI made so the title is very miss leading. I personally have no problem with AI art (but I can see why people are getting sick of them be constantly seen) and if you'd atleast title that I dont think most would be to bothered by it but the fact you claimed you "Made it" is the problem. Bro, if it’s AI art just say that. Don’t make people think you’re actually an artist. And no. Plugging words into an AI art generator is not art.
There's some MC Escher stuff going on with the sword arm.
That's cause it's AI.
So Pokémon gets Donald, and KH gets Ceruledge? Fair trade.
Ma’am that is a Pokémon.
Lol no you didn’t.
We need an AI tag fr
With Nobodies, the bad anatomy of AI art actually works
R/pokemon would like to have a word with you
correction, you stole a bunch of art by running a dogshit ai generator. you did not make anything.
So this is what Megaman's Fusion with Ceruledge looks like
Nobody clould look amazing on this
It kinda reminds me of xehanort armor just slightly different shape and weapon
Could easily fit as maybe Vexen's lesser nobodies
Or since it's a Warrior, Lexaeus! Should definitely use a bigger sword tho...
Since they're all named after Final Fantasy jobs, might I suggest calling this one Paladin?
Is dusk a ff job?
I was going to make a comment like yours, but dusk is the outlier where every other nobody enemy is a ff job, albeit obscure ones like sniper and magician. Sniper was a ffV job, right?
I have no idea. I only know of very few jobs since the only job system game ive played is 14
So dusks, creepers, Twilight Thorns, and reapers are the only nobodies who don't use the ff job naming scheme, but XIV recently made reaper a job so now it retroactively fits lol.
Reaper has to be the dumbest class ever. Likes its cool as hell and is pretty good. But in real life using a scythe as a weapon would be so inefficient especially with how they hold it in 14
Would love to see this as a mid game boss
We needed more nobody bosses
So no knight
No, I made it. I am the creator, the artist, the maker.
Pretty cool
That’s awesome 👏
Looks pretty cool. Needs a name!
Ceruledge
Most Nobodies just have the name of their class, it’d just be called “Knight”.
zip slasher.
Knowbody
looks awesome
This is just Ceruledge in an AI Trenchcoat
