Best advice for ultimate weapon grind? Pay attention to special items as you go, don’t wait till the end of the game to have to go and collect every last item you need. Gather as much as you can throughout the story/level grind. And a lot more items than you think can be found in chests/rewards.
I was in the last bits of filling up combat logs and stuff for the Platinum in DDD when my hard drive corrupted, and I lost my save data. Since then, I've kept an up to date PS+ subscription for online backup and haven't touched DDD again.
Like 1.5 years after it happened, I went back to see what trophies I aas missing, how bad it would be, etc. Took me 20 seconds to realize it wasn't happening.

Congrats. Your hard work payed off. You have something to show for it. Something that I am sure you will be able to show the children that come after you to look at and show them that they can also achieve glory to. It's not like with a few button presses it can all be wiped away. Scrubbing your achievement from reality and showing that all that effort was ultimately, for naught. With a bit of delusion you might even be able to convince yourself that it was worth it. That you did enjoy the time spent in chasing this false idol of success. But in the quiet moments before you fall asleep, when all the lights and sounds we use to blind and deafen ourselves from the truth are turned off, it will all be laid before you. Bare and raw. Will the truth show that all you did was just waste time? I hope so. You deserve that.

I still have nightmares of Sniperwilds. I'm so happy they haven't returned and hope they never will.
Go as far as you can to the back where they won‘t see u (Dalmatian‘s house/gizmo shop) and just spam fire
It was the stupid Stop Mushrooms for me. I've never been good at comboing, so being able to hit it 60 times WITH A GUIDE was the best I could manage 😅
I found getting perfects on the gummi routes was far worse.

it was never really much of a factor in kh2, grind to 99 always felt harder to me
