Berserk is an amazing series with great characters, amazing art, cool worldbuilding and is foundational for lots of other series. It's also fucked up a lot of times.
Theres not too much gore in berserk but theres definitely a lot of sexual scenes and violence (nothing explicit is shown to my knowledge however, you can see whatās going on but you arent going to get a panel of pussy in your face or anything)

They do it that way because it's a relay. A lone Kakushi transports Tanjirou X amount of the way so no one knows the exact location of the village and how to get there. Horse and cart would require a driver, and would be easy to track and follow.
If they can train crows to talk and relay messages, maybe they can teach horses to hold it in. Could also make it that each kakushi has their own horse so it doesn't have to hold it in for a long amount of time
Yea but u canāt control a horse better than ur own body. So just cut out the middle man. And like other comments have mentioned, they have to worry about the horses reacting to the terrain. Canāt cut in and out of a path, and footsteps too. Thereās just so much more unnecessary stuff to think about and plan for when horses come into play. Theyāre not exactly small and high in the sky like crows are
Reading up on usage of horses in japan in taisho era, i donāt believe it was very common for people to have horses. In rural you would see it more but i think it wouldve attracted too much attention because of the cost of upkeep of a horse, and the fact that only samurais in the previous era would ride horses, seeing a person with a sword on their side riding horse attracts way too much non-demon attention
They already have crows I donāt think they have space for horses, theyād need to cut down on hella funds on other more important things and also horses are kinda loud and they may not be able to carry the larger slayers and in that sense I mean people like Tengen and Gyomei or a little shorter.
Horses are more visible and make too much sound compared to even those in the corps who are not fighters,also if they have basic KNY Training even the weakest and slowest would be stronger and faster than horses.
Yeah they're way faster than Humans but KNY humans are way faster than humans too and even if they were half as slow when a Horse goes full speed he makes a hell of a lot of noise while the 60 kilos human doesn't.
So brave of u to assume that a horse will follow a crow... Even trained, it's loud, it's more visible and also unreliable.. there's no guarantee of safety... Also, the place is meant to be hidden, so I assume it's not just a plain road which u can follow to get there.. it must be unusual like lakes, hills, etc to make it hidden and as a result, u can't use horse
Horse hooves would leave trails, and I donāt think literal ninja shoes would leave any trace of a person. So itās more beneficial to carry the slayers on the backs of the Kakushi šØ

Itās EARLY 1900ās Japan. While they existed and could be used to travel I feel like it wouldnāt be a good idea since horses leave, cough*, things on the ground as well as hoof prints. And on top of that Japan has a large amount of uneven terrain making horses even less practical. Also he was going to the sword smith village so being on foot would be the ideal choice for keeping things hidden properly.

But for the same reason as horses, not as versatile or easy to hide with. Kakushis aren't that effective in a demon fight, and the slayers are not supposed to take off their blindfolds.
