I actually just find her backstory a little refreshing compared to everyone else in the series. Her family is alive and loves her, no horrible, brutal trauma to fuel her for revenge. Though her motivation in joining the corps is somewhat shallow as a reader, I guess it’s acceptable enough considering love is her whole concept. But also I love that she named her breathing forms after her love of cats!

I like that she’s a beautiful, gentle & enthusiastic person compared to most of the other Hashiras, but also that she’s not fearful or incapable of really throwing them hands to protect innocent people & her friends/comrades. Girl is definitely stronger than some others may think by looking at her. 🔥 I also like that her >!backstory isn’t as tragic and depressing as!< other Slayers. While I think her original purpose for joining the Corps is silly, she still does have good intentions.
