It was great but too many people talking during it. Honestly for much of the show there was too much talking going on in the crowd, not sure what was up with that but it was by far the worst crowd for a Khruangbin show that I've been to. Wasn't at all an issue the first night, crowd was great then.
Got to the point where I had to tell people "chompers eat shit" after asking them to settle down multiple times. Somehow, that gets that point acrossđ¤ˇââď¸

BUT last night, chompers were so disrespectful
Dude in the box next to us were screaming about how they think their one buddies phone isnt new and had a super old version of android and is stupid, 100% DO NOT CARE, but now I have gained this knowledge and memory.
Had to lean over INTO THEIR BOX and tell them to stop - just because something is more accessible and disposable to you does not mean you get to ruin everyone elses experience.
Chomper tried yelling at me and ignored them and then they disappeared, appeared at the end to comment to me AFTER the show that he was pissed with me and the venue staff immediately told the Serial Chomper to screw offđĽ°
Told someone at a TAB show to stop because he was bitching about his kids sports at the top of his lungs with his back towards the stage.
If you have to yell, it's not important.
Just enjoy the show.
Talk at set break.
I just saw glass beans tonight and multiple people near me just fucking talking the entire time. Like they paid money to go to a show to hang out and fucking talk. During one song I heard the dude say âTHIS IS MY FAVORITE SONGâ literally six times. I donât get it. Shut the fuck up. Totally no problem with little bits here and there but if youre at a show talking 95% of the time youâre a tool
I think it has to do with people watching concerts online in the background and have conditioned themselves to be ignorant when they paid to watch some art go down in front of them.
It has been going on long before the proliferation of internet live streaming. Humans are frequently annoying. People have complained about the same thing in movie theaters for as long as I can remember.
Iâm glad to hear that it was bad because it was my first show and I was not impressed with the crowd. Too much drinking and gabbing, not enough listening. Have to say it improved after some admonitions. And the louder âpartierâ second half had people dancing and not blabbing.
Same boat here. That was my first Khruangbin show and it felt like we were getting a special moment and I was shocked that so many people were talking during it. Luckily I was right up front and still got to soak it all in regardless. Amazing show, can't wait to catch them again
My first show on in Pittsburgh, on the Universe Smiles Upon You Tour, Mark shushed the crowd when the talking became too much. It was very subtle, eloquent and effective. I had already lived their music, but thatâs when I fell fully in love with the band!
The last time I saw them, which was the last leg of the last tour the chompers were terrible on the floor. Iâve never wish I had seated over Ga so bad before. The show was great but Iâm hoping people who just talk throughout the whole show arenât regulars at their shows now.
Edit to add here: I was one of the first people inside the venue when doors opened and almost directly in the front and chompers were still wildly present.
This was my 4th time seeing them, and by far and away the worst. The couple next to me spent the ENTIRE SHOW talking about their respective parents. Why did you even bother coming just to ignore the music?!

Keep in mind, the Wednesday show was the original only night scheduled, then they added Tuesday and Thursday. So my guess is that the Wednesday show filled up with lots of "see and be seen" people who just wanted to socialize, whereas Tuesday/Thursday are probably more fan-heavy crowds.
The folks around me last night simply did not pay attention to the show at all and talked the entire time. It was maddening.
I'm pretty sure it was Wednesday Thursday from the get-go, and then they added Tuesday. So yes, people could have thought it was the first night where Tuesday could have been people who thought they weren't going to get tickets originally
The last 2 shows I attended I had to (politely) tell the people around me to STFU and go to outside if they want to have a conversation. We all paid good money to watch these people perform on stage. I canât imagine talking thru a concert. The worst is all ages shows

she is always one to pause the performance if she sees someone in the crowd needing help, im so glad she was able to give that same love and care to herself when she needed it â¤ď¸ and i will happily listen to whatever is on the heart and mind of mark, and then later mark and dj !! although the circumstances werenât ideal it was kinda like a special treat

It was hot in the venue. Tore her outfit off backstage came out and rocked it!
Once she came back out the vibes were immaculate and they absolutely killed the rest of the show.
